Hi Experts,
I am running this report for disbursement of unclaimed medical allowances; it updates infotype 267 for an offcycle payment. but i want it to update IT 15 for a regular payroll run. Can please some one tell how i can achive this.
its very urgent.

i have created the wage type 1013 for IT 15. but i want the report to create the infotype 15 with the this wagetype, which is one of features of the report. but i dont know how to do it using this report.

Claim status report - PC00_M40_REMS

Hi experts
Claims status report PC00_m40_rems is showing incorrect balance. That is, for example, eligibility is Rs. 50000
Step1: Claim for the month for April is Rs.5000. Claim processed through PC00_M40_REMP. The claim status was successfull.
After the above step, REMS report shows Eligibility Rs.50, 000/- Claim payment - 0, claim due - Rs.5000/-, balance Rs.45000/- and no.of claim 1
Step2: Claim was processed through offcycle payroll - PC00_m40_calc. After this process, the REMS report shows - Eligibility Rs.50000/-, claim payment - Rs.5000, claim due - Rs.5000/-, balance Rs.40,000/- and no. of claim 2
Step3: Then regular payroll was run. After the regular payroll, REMS is showing correct details i.e. Eligibility Rs.50,000/- Claim payment Rs.5000/-, Claim due - 0, balance Rs.45,000/- and no. of claim 1
I suppose, the balance should show correct balance of Rs.45,000/- after the second step mentioned above.
I have maintained bank details - Main bank and Main bank for offcycle.
Kindly guide me.

In that table SMED has been assigned against my customised wagetype & also has been assigned aginst 00M0 wt;But In PC00_m40_REMP report it is showing calculation only against OOMO wt

Claim Digger Report

When viewing the report produced by Claim Digger, under the heading bold "General Realtionship Differences" bold, the report shows a Predecessor Activity Name and a Successor Activity Name. Is the report referring to each activity being related to each other, or is there a 3rd activity that has the listed ones as the respective Predecessor and Successor.
Actually is there anywhere a guide that lists the components of the Claim Digger report and how to read them all correctly? Most of it is fairly straightforward I know, but some areas can be a little bit grey.

Hi Douglas,
As you might have found out these reports can be huge. So try and filter down to the smallest amount of data to be compared.
The documentation that you will need for Claim Digger can be found in the Project Management Reference Manual.
You can also try reading Part 4, "Updating and Managing the Schedule".
Also try looking on the "Documentation" CD that came with your software.

1) Business Add-In: Data Change in 'Claim Overview' Report - CLAIM_REPORT_ADD_1
Use

Do not change the key QMNUM in the transfer table pt_qmel.
Requirements
If you want to display more columns than those stipulated by SAP in the standard system in structure RCLAIM001 you must first add these additional columns to the structure RCLAIM001.

With this enhancement you can change data for the claim report 'Claim Hierarchy'.

Cash Disbursement report in SAP

Is there a report in SAP that shows the actual cash disbursement by category. Some of the categories that we report cash disbursement incluse inventory, fixed assets, inter-company, royalties and payroll.

Claims Digger report - values for changes in duration/float/lags

When I compare two projects using Claims Digger, I always get results for changes in durations, float and lags in hours as opposed to days? Is there a setting that can fix this?

I think (not 100% sure) P6 is working as designed.
The basic unit of comparison in P6 is hours and not what is set in user preferences.
For example when you run a global change the basic unit used in calculations is hours.
Also when we enter duration in days, its actually been stored in database in hours and then converted to days using activity calendar in P6v7.

Cash Disbursement report - using SAP 720

Right now I am using FBL1N with a layout I created to use as a cash disbursement register. The only issue is that I can't seem to get the vendor name to populate. I have the vendor# and all the other info, but not the vendor name. I have been advised that in FBL1N, there is a field that needs to be added called either "account name" or "search term".
I don't see this in my menu.

SharePoint 2013 and Windows authentication (integrated) or SharePoint user for report data source

I am having issues creating report datasource in "Windows authentication (integrated) or SharePoint user" in SharePoint 2013. I followed the steps mentioned in the link http://blogs.msdn.com/b/psssql/archive/2014/04/28/sharepoint-adventures-using-claims-with-reporting-services.aspx.
I am just stuck in the delegation piece here. I have a SSAS instance by name "XXXXAPPV01\Multidimensional". First thing is what is the procedure to set SPN for this instance? I need to add this service in the delegation tab so that C2WTS service
configured correctly.
Nothing but I should be able to access my SSAS 2012 cube from SSRS 2012 by "Windows authentication (integrated) or SharePoint user" as the authentication method.

I used the below command to set SPN for analysis services.
setspn -S MSOLAPSvc.3/XXXXAPPV01APPV01.xxxxdmo.local:Multidimensional xxxxdmo\svcMyService
After setting the SPN for this service account I added this account(xxxxdmo\svcMyService) in the delegation tab of my domain account created earlier for claim service (xxxxdmo\svcC2WTS). Now in service type it shows -> MSOLAPSvc.3, User or Computer it shows
-> XXXXAPPV01APPV01.xxxxdmo.local and in Port it shows -> Multidimensional. This is in my svcC2WTS account delegation tab. Still I am not able to connect datasource by "Windows authentication(integrated) or SharePoint User". I am getting the
same error "Cannot convert claims identity to windows token".
I am not sure what am I missing in this configuration piece yet to get this working.

When I run the Claim Digger report and look at the section "General Relationship Differences", it list out a long list on new & old predecessors even though NONE of the listed activities have changed their predecessor, NONE! What is this section refering to?

Report works in Studio; fails to run when deployed

Our SSRS developers claim their reports work fine when run on their desktops, but not when deployed to the SSRS server. They blame the SS2008 R2 database server for some reason. They say the reports which fail tend to be the larger reports with
the most columns / rows returned by their queries. I do not have any access to the SSRS server and I would like to spend my time doing something other than defending the database.
What should the SSRS developers do? What can I do to help?

I would recommend looking at the ExecutionLog views. There is a pretty good article on how to determine where the slowness is coming from by looking at these views...

If it is truly failing and producing an error, they all get logged to the SSRS logs on the server. That should also be a source to look at. You will have to work with whomever runs the SSRS instance to look at the log files on the server and
to access the views on the databases.

Claim Carry forward

Dear All,
Im looking for following functionality,
PC00_M40_REMP - Claims Disbursement if Employees has already apply the claim and its proceed, so system should not be allowed new claim for same period.
PC00_M40_REMC - Claims Balance Carry Forward: if employee has not claim full amount then only carry forward should work, partially balance should not be allowed, and remaining balance will get laps.
So please advice me how will manage this functionally.

the activities for SAP End users are
1.     End of the year-all tax related queries check and see the taxation part is correct by taking random employees across organization(TDS in case of India)
2.     Beginning of the year-see updated rules regarding Statutory compliance are updated by SAP,generate work schedules without fail
3.     Mid year-in case of LWF twice in year check this
4.     Quarter-TDS filing quarterly,and maintaining challans in SAP
5.     Monthly-run payroll every month and check all statutory payments to be made to authorities(PF,PTax,ESI,LWF etc) alongwith postings to FI
apart from this if required create any new wagetypes for Earn/dedn if any
The Payroll support Consultant has to be aware of all these activities and has to know the latest SPK levels of SAP and new notes updated by SAP with relevant changes if any to include those in the system
As SAP is an integrated system,though there is not much integration between HR and other Modules except FI,however one has to see the changes that may affect other modules,hence before and after updating support pack level test thoroughly in DEV and then move to QAS & PRD System.

Pc00_m40_remt program issue

I am trying to test the claim reimbursement functionality for the implementation of same .
Issue is i am able to run the reports successfully as below:
pc00_m40_remp
and then to see the claim status : pc00_m40_rems
But now when i am running the Claim balance disbursement report : pc00_m40_remc then its not giving me results and saying "
No correct cases for the balance disbursement run
Please help.

Is there a way to get Illustrator to know how many pixels are in an inch?

Hi, this is my very first post so please be gentle!
I've scoured these forums and found no solution to this problem.
I'm using Illustrator CS5 to make graphics for print. I need to print said graphics at 300 DPI, but this seems impossible.
Illustrator has plenty of settings that tell you it's at 300 DPI, but it never ever is.
Here's the new file dialog:
In this example, I'm making an image that I want to print on a letter sized piece of paper. The example is square, but that's not important. 8.5 inches at 300 DPI is 2550 pixels. Watch what happens when I change the unit to pixels:
Despite the raster effects set to 300 PPI at the bottom, it thinks that 8.5 inches is 612 pixels, which is 72 DPI, NOT 300. Watch what happens when I choose the correct pixel resolution then switch it back to inches:
It actually thinks I want to print a 35 inch poster with horrible gif resolution.
You might say that the pixels are the only thing that matters when it comes to print, and you'd be correct, if I didn't want to print via a PDF. When I save a drawing like this at the correct pixel resolution to PDF, then try to print it at the actual size (300 dots to an inch), I get something like this because Acrobat thinks I have a 35 inch high document:
Well, you might say, why don't you just print it to fit and you'll be fine? Sure, I can tell my print dialog to fit it to the page, but it doesn't fit it to the actual page size, it fits it to the printable area, which is maybe an 1/8th of an inch smaller on every side of the page, which means my 300 dots will never fill an inch exactly on my printer. I could never in a million years print a usable ruler.
Before you ask, yes the Document Raster Effects Settings are also 300 PPI and it has no effect.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I think you may be getting hung up on resolution when there isn't one. PDF files DO NOT HAVE A RESOLUTION. Like Illustrator files, they are a vector format.
A PDF file might contain no images at all, then it is impossible to talk of resolution at all. Or it might contain images, but these might all be different resolutions. Sometimes, it so happens that all the images have the same resolution, then it is just about possible (but not necessarily useful) to talk about resolution. A number of utilities claim to report the resolution of a PDF but just make it up! Where did you get the 72 dpi figure?
Another common error is to think of "100% scale" as being a universal thing, and expecting something viewed at 100% to be the same size in all apps, so to think something is wrong when they are not. This is simply an error: each app has its own different idea of what 100% means and you cannot compare apps this way.
If you want to know the size of a PDF, first realise each page COULD BE a different size, though they usually aren't. Open in Acrobat and hover the mouse in the bottom left corner until the size appears. This is in inches/mm; remember there cannot be a size in pixels.

Anonymous Logon Error while using SSRS from SharePoint 2013

I have SQL Reporting Services 2014 for SharePoint installed in SQL Server Box (SQL01) and SharePoint 2013 in a separate box (SPDEV01)
in SPDEV01 i have installed Add-in for SSRS.
when i generate a report using report builder i get an error saying Anonymous logon
initially i got an error (rsClaimsToWindowsTokenLoginTypeError) for windows
login and i followed the steps from below links

after successfully completing few steps from the above links i am able to fix rsClaimsToWindowsTokenLoginTypeError but now
i am getting anonymous logon error
Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'.
Cannot create a connection to data source 'DataSource1'. (rsErrorOpeningConnection)
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
the other thing i need to mention is i am using my account as service account, setup account and also as a farm admin, will that
be an issue?
i have to use my account as these are development boxes.
