How are preorders to be charged w/ Gamers Club members?

Ok so Gamers Club unlocked members save 20% on all new games... $59.99= $47.99 before tax YES?
SO if I PREORDER a game for $5... they need to ring me up as $42.99 CORRECT?  Pretty sure I've been overcharged for MOST of my games since unlocked started.  I can't see more than 90 days of purchase history to confirm- but the past month with Halo, GTA5, Dragon's Age, this has been the case.  I'm often not able to catch at the register as they're always struggling to get everything to work correctly at the pickup desk- gift cards or additional previous reward certs only compound their problems and make the reciepts a mess- so I walk out always saying- YOU TOOK MY $5 preorder off this right?  I always mention I preorder but I never have my reciept, and ask them to look it up- I always tell them the transaction date as I look it up in my history on my phone.
FIRST OFF- Best buy needs to kill the "do you have your reciept" trash.  They need a PREORDER STATUS for customer accounts especially for Gamers Club as many of us preorder more than 6mos in advance to get $10 preorder coupons and such- one example- I preordered Assasins Creed 4 on PS4- MONTHS ago- and didn't pick it up- so I should get my $5 back- but I can't pull up my history as this was over 90 days ago- so now I can't tell them WHEN I ordered this- and thus- how do I get my $5 in this case?
This would then eliminate the mess in my 1st paragraph- you show up- say what you bought- flash your phone# or Gamer Club ID and they say- ah yes- you preordered the game- I have your $5 down here- I'll get your game- and from there the system rings up $54.99 then removes your 20% GamerClub discount.
Problem solved.
So how can I get my preordered $$ from all my games from this year?  Anyone else seeing this problem, or am I overlooking something and just an idiot?  (possible of course!)

Sorry for the tardiness of this response; we are completely backlogged on posts from the holiday and it’s taking us some time to get caught up.
I completely understand wanting to make sure that you are getting the right value for your games along with the Gamers Club Unlocked membership.  That’s the whole point to signing up right?  It looks like StraightUpLazy was able to provide some help here and he is correct in how the pre-order deposit is applied to your purchase.
I’m sorry that our pre-order process has caused you so much frustration, that is certainly not our intention and we are always looking to improve the experience as much as possible.  I appreciate your feedback around this and it is something that is on our radar that we are hoping to get changed in the future.

    I'm curious as to the reason why Wii U and 3DS game preorders are not eligible for the $10 Gamers Club Reward. Kinda sucks that only some Gamers Club members can take advantage of these types of promotions.

    As an owner of both the Wii U, as well as the Nintendo 3DS, I have to agree with you here on it being a bummer that Nintendo Wii U and 3DS games aren’t generally included in the $10 Gamers Club rewards. There are many great benefits of Gamers Club, as well as Gamers Club Unlocked, and it’s completely understandable that you’d want those to extend to the gaming systems you play and enjoy!
    In visiting the links that enuf has shared, you’ll see that you’re definitely not the first person who’s asked for this. By voting on the IdeaX links provided above, you can help add your opinion and show that there is a demand for this. However, I can’t say for certain if this will change in the future. It’d sure be nice to see, though!

    How can I change my Address for Gamers Club account???Everytime I buy something the wrong address shows up at check out. I tell the cashier all the time its the wrong address... reply ....     Does anyone know how at&t charges mms to our iphone accounts? Also, im sure an mms message is sent through data, how are we charged for that data because it doesnt show on my useage. Im just curious because I use alot of data as it is and im on an off network warning, so im not sure if I should be sending alot of mms messages.

    It is not from your data account. If you do not have a text plan you are charged $.30 for an MMS and $.20 for each SMS. If you have a plan for 200 messages per month then there is no charge for MMS or SMS up to that number. Check your plan either on the website or call them.

    You need to set up an Apple ID for use with the iTunes Store before you can redeem anything in the iTunes Store. You don’t need to enter credit card information to redeem only the amount of a gift certificate or card.

    I don't know what you mean by "poor battery life". If your iPad is working properly you should get 9-10 hours of life.

No matter how long I leave it charging, it does that. Is there a way to fix it? All I want are my contacts and my old calendar back. These did not sync with iTunes like my photos, music, and video. I can probably get an older, replacement iPod, but I don't want to have to readd all my important dates and reminders, as well as contact information. I guess I have two questions:
    1) is there a way to get my ipod to start working again?
    2) is there a way to get my old contacts and calendar back again?

    To get the calender and contacts back if you can't get the iPod working is to restore the new iPod from the backup of the old one.

  • How determine G4 PB AC charger Okay?

    15" T1 Titanium Laptop G4, 400 Mhz will not start with the AC adapter plugged in. Neither existing one or new one.
    How can I test the charger to verify IT is functioning???  Amps or Volts?  (I have a test meter, just don't know what to test for.) The charger I have is the original round clamshell from Apple.
    This unit is seldom used, but serves an an emergency backup
    Today I purchased a new Rayco Charger from Batteries Plus, plugged it in, the light lit, but the PowerBook would not start. It was supposed to be the right one but no way to be certain other than it fit into the T1 fitting on the back. I returned it later.
    A new Pram battery was installed in October &  December 2010. It also worked  in February and March and 9/16/11 following a battery recharge of 2.5 hours
    Saw an item in the forum to effect that  a faulty Pram battery could cause failure to start; someone unplugged their Pram battery and then put it back in and it worked IF I understood that correctly. Unable to relocate that post.

    STILL NEED HELP...
    If the computer won't turn on or start up, the manual that came with it provides:
    - make sure power adapter plugged in functioning power outlet.  DONE but computer does not start
    - battery may need recharge. press small button on battery for led lights: 1,2 3,4
        Doing so on the original Apple Battery shows 1 led light
       Doing so on the NewerTechnology 65 Watt-hour lithium Ion Battery shows no lights
    -if first two items do not work press reset button on back panel (per page 18)
       Doing so did not start the computer with the ac adapter plugged into active AC and the battery with 1 led light
    - it that does not work press Power button and immediately hold down Command, Option, P and R keys until you hear the startup sound a second time.
       Doing so achieved no change, no start
    If recently installed memory...
       Not applicable... nothing installed since last several operations.
    If still unable to contact Apple for service
      (Apple Store says they cannot service this)
    SO WHAT'S NEXT?
      Texas... to check for volts.. it would be DC volts as I understand it and should be what???
        Specs are 24 volt 1.875a  can any DC volt test meter be used with a range of 1- 150? v?

    How are businesses handling the "APPLE LOCK" on company cell phones when an employee leaves and their phone is unusable because the euipment was set up on the employee's personal Apple Account with their ID and password?  When an employee leaves a business and the company has purchased the equipment, the company should have the rights to reissue the equipment and Apple should provide an alternative to unlock the equipment from the employee's personal APPLE account and password so the company (that purchased the equipment) can reissue the line and equipment to another employee.

    If you can prove ownership to Apple, they may be able to help you.
    The best way of handing things would be strong policies requiring that the equipment be turned in in a usable state. i.e. not activation locked. Failing this, the employee should be charged the cost of the replacement phone. Held from their final paycheck if required.
