How do I change Line-In / Mic mode? X-FI Xtreme Audio PCIe & Vista 64

Hey!
How can I change the back panel connector from Line-In into Microphone mode?
I havent found this option from anywhere in Vista or Creative Audio Console settings. I would like to use my microphone throught the back panel, but when it is in Line-In mode I cant get any audio out.

And there i can read that the "frame rate mode" is variable... and that's the bad thing... I want to change that point to a constant frame rate mode. I use the H.264 codec

How do I change to PC Suite Mode in Nokia 6680?

Hello,
when connecting my Nokia 6680 to a Computer, it doesn't ask me to select a connection mode. However, there is a program that obviously needs me to select PC Suite Mode or Nokia Mode.
Since I didn't find an option for that in the phone, can someone tell me if it's possible to change to PC Suite Mode?

m8, Go to Tools->Settings->Connection->USB-Select PC Suite, then put Yes on Ask on connection. It will ask you what mode you wanted to connect.

How can I change the Video Display Mode when the Monitor displays UNSUPPORTED MODE?

While setting up my new monitor, I changed the computer Video Display mode to 120 Hz by accident. Now I can't see a thing on the monitor other than the words UNSUPPORTED MODE.
My system is a newer HP Pavilion p7-1423W running Windows 8.1 with Intel i5-2320 3ghz
I have tried the Startup mode by tapping ESC on powerup but the startup options don't help. And the F11 option on the menu just makes the Startup screen disapear and returns the monitor to UNSUPPORTED MODE. Tapping F8 doen't work and tapping F12 just puts me into the bios menus which don't help.
How can I put the integrated Video Card back to a supported video mode when I can't see the screen?

Try the shift key + F8. If you can get in- doing a System Restore to a day before you messed up the setting should work without a need for Safe Mode.

How can I change line colors in HTML reports?

I have a VI that is creating an HTML report based on a table of results. I change the back ground color of the line based on failed results. However this line color change is not seen in the HTML reports. Can anyone give me a good way of basically transferring the properties of my table to the HTML report? Is it possible? Greg - Thanks for the reply. I figured this out doing some more research. The line that I needed was "<BACKLOG="#PAYOFF">Your Cell Text</ID>. The problem I was having was that line is needed in front of the rest of the font formatting commands. For example here is my original line:

The bold part in the line above is what I added. With the cell color added like this it actually created another cell and pushed existing ones one cell to the right. It then colored the second cell in the row and left the first one blank. Through looking up more examples I found that I was actually putting the cell color command in the middle of the font formatting command. So I tried putting it at the end and it then did nothing. The only way I could get the cell in the table to change and not change anything else was using the syntax below.

I want to reduce double-spacing in my Mail signature to single spacing so it's more compact and doesn't take up all kinds of vertical space (more than the email itself--I've had recipients complain about this--and it's a business email). I have a logo (.png) in the signature that I've been using with no problem. I have text above and below the logo. It's just too widely spaced. Surely there must be a formatting menu that I can use to shrink the line spacing in Mail Signatures? Or elsewhere, then reimport and have the formatting stick? This is a pretty basic feature for an email client to offer. Is there a simple solution to this?

I need to be able to control the voltage outputed by the power supply. I have a pci gpib 488.2 and I downloaded the correct driver. I also don't no exactly how to use the communicator included in the measurement and automation explorer. When ever I type in the commands I get an error. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

First see if you can establish communications with the power suppy using Meas and Automation explorer (MAX for short). If you can find your GPIB card in the directory tree choose it and then use the scan for instruments tool. If it can see your power supply it will give you it's address. Choose it and try the Communicate with my instrument tool. It will send a IDN? command to that address and it might return a string if the instrument understands the command. If not you will need to dig through the power supply manual to find the correct commands.

Line-in not working with Xfi extreme audio pci-e

Hi,
im trying to play my xbox360 on my computer, the video with my winfast dtv000T is ok, but whenI try to get the sound by connecting the xbox360 sound in one of the two mic/line-in I get nothing (tried in K!TV, Winfast PVR, DScaler). Im running XP SP3. I can use teamspeak with the mic but I dont know why when I try to use the line in for sound capture its not working at all (its working with my onboard soundcard, but I prefer my xfi). I connect my xbox to the blue female jack 3.5.

My line-in worked as this is the entertainment mode that?you can turn on your Line-in under the mixer tab. Problem is, when I play my guitar there is quite a latency that is unbearable (.05) for a guitarist. I don't know if this should bother your application for it.

How do I change my partition from Vista to Xp?

Hello,
Vista takes up too much space in my boot camp partition, leaving very little room to add other files to Windows. Because of this, I want to "upgrade" my Windows partition from Vista to XP. I have already purchased an XP installation disc. How do I change over to XP? Do I simply delete the Vista partition and then install XP in its place?
I was planning on using nlite to slim down XP to the bare essentials. Are there ways to add drivers to my XP install disc? Also, can I make my XP install disc with SP3 pre-loaded? I imagine I would have to wait until after installing windows so I could then download the Boot Camp 2.1 update for SP3 compatibility.

First, backup your Leopard OS.
Then, boot into the Vista DVD or CD and erase the contents of the BC partition.
Reboot using the XP disk and see if it installs. If it does, you are home-free.
If not, you probably have to remove and recreate the partition using Leopard and BCAsst.app as you originally did.
However, if you are really looking to "thin down" even XP, you really need a larger HD. All OSs require "scratch" space and if you don't have 20% free disk space, you are asking for problems.
It's not clear if XP w/SP3 will install or not. Apple noted that BC2.1 was necessary before installing SP3, and clearly you can't do that if SP3 is already embedded. You can try, but bear in mind it may not work, at least not yet.
It's difficult with all these things coming up at once, BC2.1, SP3 and Vista's SP1 (which may have the same problem if the new Vista DVD has SP1 embedded)
It was much easier in the DOS/Linux days

Depending on which soundcard you have there, but if your card is capable for
ASIO -> activate I/O drivers on Sonar/Options/Audio/Drivers -tab (mic/line sources should be listed there --> activate) and select the mic or/and Line sources on tracks "I" - dialog
WDM/KS -> use the Surround Mixer or windows recording controls for recording source selection (mic should be listed there)
MME32 - > same w/ WDM/KS
If you use Asio4All --> same w/ WDM/KS & MME32
No mic and line source simultaenously w/ WDM/KS and MME32.
You perhaps be able to do this w/ kX drivers.

You can also install modded version of Audigy 2 drivers/software but I have never done this w/ Li've! 5. so I can't be sure if you get ASIO support for your card.

Yahoo displays in line form other than the standard Yahoo screen, How do I change this and why does it keep changing on its own?

I have Yahoo as my default search engine. When I enter through FireFox the display comes up as a line display instead of the standard Yahoo Screan with photos etc. I need to know what is causing this to happen and how to change it back? when Yahoo is accessed through other browsers this is not a problem.
