How do I complain to Lenovo?

I own a Lenovo Thinkpad T61p certified used unit with a 1 year on-site warranty. The laptop arrived with a defective LCD. My subsequent claim is now handled by Atlanta, GA service center. They have sent a technician last Friday but he was not able to repair the LCD as the spare part he'd received from lenovo warehouse was in even worse quality than the one he was trying to replace. Another LCD he brought in today had just the same problem - DOA (dark/white spots or lines).
When I called the support line at 800-426-7376 nobody could guarantee if and when I would ever receive a 100% working LCD. Neither did they care too much about all the time not only I wasted, but your employee spent and billed trying to do his job but failing.
Please advise how I should proceed! Or at least let me know if there are any working LCDs for Lenovo Thinkpad T61p in stock at your facilities at all??? Thanks in advance.

that is worse than what had happened to my T61 and T60... i could totally relate to your personal grievances with the repair, since i have gone through the same sort of problems with dodgy repairs. 
I think you should escalate this problem to be reviewed by the IBM executive team...

    Only 1 mount and 5 days I go to Lenovo Thailand to claim many time. I am so tried with this notebook. Please take it back and return my money. please. I bought it to use, not for fix it every week. Please help me T T

  • How can a complain about an app basically stealing money?

    hello, i couldnt find any other way to complain apart from forums
    My friend and I bought coins on a game. He bought rather a large amount and put it in alliance. someone else in alliance hacked the game and fed people fake coins and our alliance too. Haypi Kingdom then took the coins (which is fine) banned his account and left it at that. they also too my friend's 650 coins he bought and now refuse to refund or give them back as they were not hacked and were not used.
    The developer refuses to contact us and the support refuses to contact us.
    instead of resolving the issue they are ignoring us. He spent about $50 and they wont refund!
    what can we do or how can i complain?
    there is evidence to show the coins weren't hacked. They just wont give them back.
    we didnt ask for the hacking nor want it. incredibly frustrsating!

  • How do you complain about Apple products being sold at WalMart?

    See pic below, taken just a few days ago. No iPhone 5S on display, No iPhone 5c. They finally removed the clear plexiglass case they used to have over the phones,  because it was so scratched up you could hardly see through it. This is totally nasty and trashy.
    Now if you go to the Samsung part of the display, it is full of the latest phones - all prominantly displayed. Notice also the Samsung poster below the Apple section!
    How can Apple let their products be displayed like this? I hope Angela Ahrendts will turn this around. I would be embarrassed to have my products displayed in this way. Also, the sales staff knew absolutely nothing about iPhones. Walmart is not helping Apple or its image. 
    I don't know how to formally complain, so if there's a better way to do that, please let me know.

    If you purchased the software from a different country, be aware that your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside.

    Nothing is ever as easy as it should be, though I've no idea what you were doing that took so long. Takes at most 5 mins to insert a SIM card, choose a language and activate the phone. At that point it is working. Another 5-10 mins should get you connected to your email account. You can add media & apps when you're not busy doing something else, and the phone can still make & receive calls while you're doing that!
    The web is geared towards always on all you can eat broadband. If you run mobile broadband with a data cap or escalating charges then you need to manage the usage carefully, it is nobody else's problem.
    Sorry if I've come over a trifle harsh on your first visit here, but these forums are for users to help each other resolve technical issues. However badly your first day setting things up went there is nothing to be done about it now, A little research, or a chat with a knowledgeable friend or colleague, or getting the phone set up at the store would have made it easy. Chalk it up to experience and move on.

  • Is this how dual boot works in Lenovo laptops?

    I have a Z580 and I've succesfully installed Ubuntu 12.04 LTS alongside Windows 8. Earlier I lost my paritions during Ubuntu install and so I had to do a clean install of Windows using the MSDN version and by using the product key retrieved using RWEverything tool.
    Here are my questions:
    When I boot through Ubuntu there is a pause for almost 30 seconds with a blank screen before the Ubuntu startup screen comes up. Is that how it is or is there a way I can fix this?
    When I boot Ubuntu boots well, but the Windows boot option doesn't appear in the Grub boot menu. But if I choose Windows boot option in the Boot Menu (by pressing the small button) Windows boots fine. Is this how it works on the Lenovo laptops? It's fine with me and in fact it's more desirable for me so that I can kinda hide Windows which I rarely use. But I'm curious to know if this is how it works and it's not related to the problem described in my first question.

    I do not own the same machine, but I can make the following general observations:
    Re: the 30 second pause, does that occur before or after the GRUB menu?
    A Windows entry can be added to the Boot menu, which is contained in a config text file.
    I don't know what you mean by pressing the small button to boot Windows.
    My Lenovo laptop dual boots Linux and Windows (but not Ubuntu, and not Windows 8).  The total boot time to Linux is around 45-60 seconds on a regular HDD, and 17-30 seconds on SSD, including Grub.  Windows is about 45-90 seconds on HDD, 30 or so on SSD, including GRUB selection.  That time is from when I press the power button until the desktop is up and the computer is either connected or connecting to Wi-Fi.
    Usually, a longer delay with my Lenovo machine is because of having USB drives attached during boot (though I'm not sure why this causes a delay) or because of updates being installed.
    There are log files created during boot time that you could research and read if you wanted to know where each chunk of time is going.  I think they are under /var/log/boot or something like that.
    Hope this helps some, anyway.

    Was it an App Store app?   If so, I would imagine they would almost certainly take up the matter.    If not, you must take it up with the developer.
    In the UK there are authorities that govern advertising standards but for any other countries I would not know.

    How can I complain in writing to Apple? I bought my daughter and son bought an iPhone each  the christmas before last. Both had to be replaced just at 12 months due to hardware problems. Now her replacement won't connect to Wifi (it hasn't been able to for a few months). I took it to Apple who said it is now outwith the warranty (this second phone is only 7 months old) because it was a replacement and want me to buy a new one. I think this is shocking. The guarantee period needs to be changed. This phone is still only 7 months old despite it being a replacement. No reasonable person spends hundreds of pounds on a phone for it to last less than a year. I am not happy despite being a great Apple fan and I have many Apple products.
