How i use header fields in soap adapter

I need use header fields http in soap adapter receiver but i don't know where's the Variable Header
Do you know where i find this?
Somebody know how i put header fields http in soap adapter receiver?

It is similar like in this blog:

Find in the online help the values for the SOAP adapter.
You can only add additional fields, you cannot influence the standard field like content-type and content-id.

my header issue is solved and hence I have closed the thread but still I am not able to make the connection successful. The new problem is below
My vendor requirement is to specify the header as "Ent-sender" but when we give the same in XI in communication channel it automatically convets into uppercase "ENT-SENDER". Due to case-sensitive in vendor server the connection is not gettingestablished.
Please help me out how to solve the problem.
Note: Sorry for the new thread as it was created due to new problem and also the previuos thread is already too long.

Thank you, I jave seen the note and find the below solution will be some what realated to my prblem.
The nosoap mode lets the adapter send the XI payload directly without wrapping it in the SOAP envelope. Although the main use of this mode is to send some plain text content directly to some web server, one can use this mode to send their own SOAP message (e.g., with arbitrary headers) to an external web service (See related questions). In this case, the XI payload must be formatted in the SOAP envelope.
To use the nosoap mode, the channel must be configured to use no SOAP envelope.
If yes, can you please let me know how to use nosoap mode otherise let me the other possibilities. I am already using tcpg2.zip to trace the SOAP adapter in which it was confirmed that XI is changing the header automatically into CAPS whatever case we give,

I have a scenario IDoc to SOAP adapter. In which my receiver given the details as
URL : https://b2b.ecsc.us.gxs.com/invoke/GXSGateway:receiveCTE
Header Name: Header Value
Ent-sender xxxx
Ent-receiver yyyyy
Ent-APRF zzzzz
Ent-filename (not sure what data need to give)
1. I request you to let me know where I need to give these headername and hader values in soap adapter.
2. my client require file as an attachment. Please let me know how I need to send the payload as an file and where the name need to be given in the header name (Ent-filename).
Currently I used MessageTransformBean to conver my XML to text structure(flatfile structure).
Please let me know if any more details required

Use Query String -> not so sure might be Unchecked
Authentication Keys
If authentication is required for the receiver system, you can enter a password and a confirmation for each key value. This means that you do not need to write passwords in the enhanced message header.
If you want to specify or display authentication keys, select View Authorization Keys.
You can enter and confirm passwords for each authentication key value (TAuthKey or TproyxAuthKey).
Try once sending the message with Adapter-Specific Message Attributes
Unchecked. See if there is a hit.I knw itz not req but juz testing.
Yeah adapter stat must be active.
Last thing need to go through the whole scenario.

Where from I get the certificates to be used in sender Agreement.

Header Fields in HTTP Adapter

Hi,
Can anyone please explain meaning of "Header fields in HTTP adapter" ? It has "Name" and "Value" fields in the receiver HTTP channel.
If I enter values like:
Name                         Value
Source                        XYZ
Destination                  ABC
Where will these appear in outbound HTTP post ?
Also, is this different from "HTTP Header Fields" checkbox available in "Adapter specific message attributes" section ?

You use this, when you want to have dynamic header fields. You put here a key, but instead of a value you put a parameter name, which can be filled with a value during mapping runtime.

On the communication channel, please check the 'Do Not Use SOAP envelope' option. Also, please, add the "nosoap" attribute to the SOAP adapter caller. Check the note below for more information

No, the one is just an extension cord, just use the 45W charger with its attached thin cord and connect the magnetic magsafe to to the connector on the back left of the macbook Air for use and charging it

Http - http redirection using header-field rule

Is it possible to configure an http -> http redirection using header-field rules if the CSS is NOT performing the SSL encryption/decryption ?
We can get the redirect working not using the header-field rule but not with it configured.

Can the CSS see the header or is it encrypted ?

How to make call to Sender Soap Adapter using HTTPS with Client Aut

Hello everyone, I have spent some time trying to get this to work. We downloaded a trail certificate from SAP and installed it on our machine and I created a webservice that works great. I tested the HTTPS without client authentification and it works great, as soon as I change it to use with Client Authentification I can't get it to go through. I am using Soap Sonar to test the certificates. To get the certificate I called the url with firefox then saved the certificate in my trust store, from there I import it to soap sonar as a signed certificate, but I am getting the error <Exception>Object contains only the public half of a key pair. A private key must also be provided.</Exception> I assume I am doing something way wrong, is there a way to get the certificate with both public and private key pair, or a way to test this that I can't seem to find in documentation or blogs?

Error using SSL on Receiver Soap Adapter

Hi there,
I'm having some problems on connecting to a third-party application running a webservice (meaning, through Receiver Soap Adapter). The third-party appl. demands us to use a SSL connection (its url starts with https), with user authentication through certificate.
We've installed SAP Java Cryptographic toolkit and have a proper certificate configured on the KeyStorage entry, on Visual Administrator.
On Soap Adapter, I've configured HTTP Transport Protocol and have selected the "configure certificate authentication" option and selected the certificate, filled the mandatory fields (target URL and soap action) but I keep getting this error message on SXMB_MONI: "com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: unable to create a socket".
Is there anything else than installing SAP Java Cryptographic Toolkit to enable SSL on Soap Adapter? Is there another configurations that need to be done?

i am able to do the SSO between the EP-->XI
but when i try with EP-->XI->R/3 it is giving me error at the receiver side means receiver soap adapter is not accepting the SAP Logon Ticket.
can u please tell me what entries should be given in the certificate authentication fields.
please provide the solution.

Extension of Standard SOAP Header Information in SOAP Adapter

We are currently trying to call an eBay Web Service via SAP XI and we are using the SOAP Adapter in XI to achieve this.
The following Authentication Information is required in the SOAP Header for accessing the eBay Web Service:
- Token
- ApplicationID
- DevelopmentID
- CertificationID.
Unfortunately, the standard SOAP Adapter supports only certain SOAP Header Information (like User Authentication or Certificate Authentication).
Is it possible to extend the SOAP Header Information in the SOAP Adapter (or somewhere else in XI) beyond the standard configurations?

thanks for your input and sorry for my late reply but I wanted to wait for feedback from SAP who actually confirmed your recommendation.
I had a second thought about this and it came to my mind that I actually don't want to extend the SOAP Header elements but simply fill the mentioned authentication elements with values. This cannot be done in the message mapping as only the SOAP body elements (i.e. the payload) can be mapped.
Do you know if and how I can fill the SOAP header elements with values in XI?
I already tried to include this information as fixed values in the WSDL description and load it into XI. Then I looked into the WSDL description and an error message occured stating that XI could not parse the XML Document (Fatal Error: com.sap.engine.lib.xml.parser.ParserException: = expected in attlist(:main:, row:18074, col:54)).
If there is no solution for the latter, I will have to try nosoap solution. Still this would be a little awkward.

How to increase max thread for SOAP adapter ?

I have problem with Synchronous SOAP transaction in PI 7.0 EHP1 SPS2. The interface actually using ccBPM.
IDOC ---> ccBPM -
> synchronous call to SOAP adapter.
The problem is there are always timeout call from Integration server to SOAP adapter after several transaction success.
it seems like the soap adapter is doesn't has enough thread to receive call from IS.
the pattern is like success, success, failed, success, success, failed. it always 1 errror within 1 minutes for 4-5 transaction in the same minutes.
is that any log in adapter that i can check or how to increase soap adapter thread ?

Including Header in Receiver SOAP Adapter

Hi Guys,
I have to develop a Proxy to SOAP interface and the target WSDL should have 4 messages, namely, HEADER, REQUEST, RESPONSE and FAULT. But while we define the Message Interface, we have only 3 slots for REQUEST, RESPONSE and FAULT.
Is there any way we can account for the SOAP Header ?? ( ASMA or DC or Variable Substitution or any other means )

U can use XSLT mapping for including the Header with required fields in the target message generated. For this you need to write the proper .xsl file which converts ur source message into target with with required mapping.
