How to assign version in sales order and transfer to PP module

Hi all
Users say that customer will require to produce/deliver old goods (we active revision level. The newest material version is D. But customer want version B). How to assign version in sales order and let PP user know the version customer want (MRP run and production order must use version B's BOM)?

Hi,
i have a query if you have implimented ECM this will serve the purpose but it also depends on how good the planning is, in ur client site ( out of SAP ) where planner will plan according to the customer requirement as to which version to be kept active for a date range.The ECO analysts(functional) or consultants will make the ECO changes for those dates.
In general for those type of customers (who needs old version) a different SO created under different document type which will create a production orders with specific order type depending on the assignment of requirement type and requirement class.
those specific production ordertypes can be inturn assigned to either different plant where your old version BOM's will be active.
You need to look into the custom settings in SAP to design the larchitecture to allign with other requirements.What i explained u is common methodology used.

    Route is determined
    1.Country of Departure & Departure Zone taken from Shipping Point
    2.Country of Destination & receiving Zone from Ship to party
    3.Shipping condition from CMR
    4.Transportation Group from MMR
    5.Weight Group which is optional.
    Check the above.
    Route is determined in delivery.

               I created a new view in component BP_FACTSHEET.and add this view in runtime repository(under main window).then i want to add this new view  into spro(CRM->UI Framework -> UI Framework Definition -> Maintain Fact Sheet.) component.How to add this view ,its asking for component name  interface view and inbound plug .then i want to display this view in BSP_DLC_FS component (BSP_DLC_FS/factsheet ).any body help me in this requirement.how to solve this problem for account factsheet.

  • MILESTONE BILLING- Mile stone assigned to multiple sales orders

    Hi,
    My user has sales order in which he has used Mile stone billing
    The Billing is being done in two shots - 60% once and the second time 40%
    60% has already been invoiced and the 40% is creating a problem and they want the sales order to be closed
    In one of the custom reports- it says that the 40% (mile stone number) is assigned to multiple sales orders and so the sales order cannot be confirmed
    I am totally new to SD and so request to kindly explain high level concept and also provide the solution

    Is your line item in sales order assigned to wbs elements?
    If it yes?
    check milestones may also comes from it- check with PS consultant-
    you can also check milestome number and billing plan number- if you display milestone
    Use CN41 transaction to check sales orders assigned to WBS element

  • Sales order and delivery requirement

    Hi,
    I have never worked real time on TOR and availibility check. I need help on clarification on the concept.
    1) The sales order transfers the requirement to MRP. So in the sap system there is a standard  requirement type/class 41 for the same. I need to know why there is a requirement type/class for sales order related delivery (011- delivery req type/class) ?
    In sales order related delivery, only availibility check is controlled(thru delivery item category) since the requirements are already transferred from sales order. so why the 011 delivery requirement ?
    2)The requirement type is determined through sales order item categoryMRP type.for the same combination of item categorymrp type, do one has to assign both the sales order and delivery requirment. I.e. suppose sales item category is ZTOR and mrp type is PD. so do one has to necessarity configure the follwoing
    ZTOR+PD=041(SALES ORDER REQ TYP) and 041 assigned to 041 req class
    ZTOR+PD=011 (DELIVERY REQ TYPE) and 011 assigned to 011 req class

    In "OVBP" T.code,you can find the billing plan assigned to a sales order.
    The path is:
    SPRO>Sales and Distribution>Billing>Billing Plan>Assign the billing plan type to the sales order.
    In two ways we can assign this billing plan to order.
    One is the above mentioned one.
    Another one is to assign the billing plan type to the item category using the T.Code "OVBR".

    Customer raises a Purchase Order which we enter in Sales order in PO Number field. (To keep track of the order).
    It is not automatic we manually enter the PO number into sales order.
    We have a scenario in SD - Third Party sales
    where in Item category TAS details screen we have an indicator "Create PO Automatic". Which when activated and transaction is raised will raise PO requisition for third party schedule lines and PO automatically when you save a sales order

    Add the sale order, then add the invoice. and while adding the invoice please add the following details to the invoce documen
    invoice_entry.Lines.BaseEntry = 'Doc entry of the newly created SO
    invoice_entry.Lines.BaseLine = 'Line No of the SO
    invoice_entry.Lines.BaseType = 17 'For sales order document type.

    You need to use two tables.
    First use VBFA. Enter the sales order number in the field Predecessar and the value M in SubCt field. This will give all the billing document number for the sales order items.
    Then use the billing document numbers in table VBRK, where in you can get the billing document type.

    You can use Exclusion Group
    You can define 2 Groups and include 1 condition type in each
    and define exlusion procedure
    A   Best condition between condition types                
    B   Best condition within the condition type              
    C   Best condition between the two exclusion groups       
    D   Exclusive                                             
    E   Least favorable within the condition type             
    F   Least favorable betweent the two exclusion groups     
    you can use Exclusive to set your condition type or as per your requirement

  • How to know the excess stock with in a sales order and line item

    Hi,
          i am running an MRP against a sales order and sales order line item. the materials are getting planned based on the requirement. but due to some reasons the production orders are confirmed with out consumption of the actual required quantity of the  components. so the stock  is kept  ideal in the sales order  though it is not required further.
       do to some othere reasons also the excess stock of componenets exist. the PR or POs may also exist for the materials though they are not required further.
    i am in need of a report for the excess stock or excess PR or Purchase order for a sales order.
      please give me logic to find the excess things in that sales order and sales order line item. the Expensional message 26 is there in stock requirement list . but it does not give the excess quantity existing.

    Using user exit USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION in MV45AFZZ, use it when you are going for particular case.
    Or you can go for or screen variant, use it when you are going for all cases

    I have an sceneria to block the sales order and delivery based on payment terms ?
        For eg )  Customer payment terms  is Z001 which is 5 % discount within 30 days , No discount within 60 days.
                        My requirement here is a)   if open item exceeds 30 days , delivery to be blocked
                                                               b)  if open item exceeds 60 days , Sales order to be blocked..

    Here , i need to control , sales order to be allowed and delivery not to be allowed  for a customer if any open invoice within 30 to 60 days and sales order to be blocked if  open invoice exceeds 60 days..
    Is this possible in Credit management ?..
