How to cancell all scheduled jobs

Is there a Command line (or) any other option to kill all scheduled jobs, because when cloning of data happens from Production to other testing instance, scheduled jobs will still be running and are consuming space.
We could use admin screen , killing one by one is taking lot of time.
Appreciate your input
Thanks

Hi user10596151,
you can try the following:
To disable all of the scheduled workbooks immediately, use the following PL/SQL block. The PL/SQL block should be run as a privileged user (such as 'system').
Declare
cursor c1 is
select job from all_jobs where what like '%EUL5%';
begin
for i in c1 loop
dbms_job.broken(i.job,true);
end loop;
end;
Note: For Discoverer 4 replace EUL5 with EUL4

  • How to drop all scheduled jobs

    Hi,
    in 8i, how to drop all oracle scheduled jobs ?
    Many thanks before.

    SELECT job FROM user_jobs;
    exec dbms_job.remove(23);
    To remove all jobs, you can write a pl/sql block to loop through all jobs and remove them.

  • How can I see all scheduled jobs which have steps of a given user?

    Hello,
    I like to see all scheduled jobs which have steps of a given user. It is not importent which user has planned the job, I just want to check the usernames wich are used for accomplishing the respective step (-> field "AUTHCKNAM").
    In table " tbtcp" I can see the AUTHCKNAM for the jobsteps, but these table just contains the jobs which are in the state "finished/completed".
    In table "tbtcs" I can see the scheduled jobs, but there I can't see the AUTHCKNAM
    Do you know a table where I can see ALL Jobs or the scheduled ones and the AUTHCKNAM?
    Thanks for your help!
    Kind Regards
    Lisa

    Hi,
    thanks for your answers.
    I also tried the table "tbtco". There I can see all jobs, but there arent entrys in the column "AUTHCKNAM". Its empty....
    Maybe there is an other table?

  • How to cancel a print job in progress

    I have a HP C5580.  When i was using Windows ME on my former PC, I could easily go to Printers, select the 5580,  hit documents in queue, and hit cancel , and the printer stopped.
    Got a new Compaq  PC with Windows 7, and I can't figure out how to cancel a print job  mid stream.  I go to Printers and Devices, giet the page that allows me to view the print jobs in queue, I hit "print job in process", but the "Cancel" is not in bold print and I can'tfind any other way to cancel the job.
    Help !

    The easiest way to cancel a print job would be by pressing the cancle button on the front panel.  This is the "X" button near the right side of the control panel, see pages 10 and 11 of the user manual here.

  • Which are the required roles/privs for viewing all scheduler jobs in OEM?

    Platform: Oracle 11.1.0.6 Enterprise Edition (64) Windows 2008 R2 Server
    - I've created a new Admin user in "OEM>Setup>Adminstrators>Create"
    - I checked the user in "OEM>Server>Users":
    CREATE USER "SA_ADMIN"
    PROFILE "DEFAULT"
    INDENTIFIED BY "saadminsa"
    DEFAULT TABLESPACE "SYSAUX"
    TEMPORARY TABLESPACE "TEMP"
    ACCOUNT UNLOCK;
    GRANT SELECT ANY DICTIONARY TO "SA_ADMIN";
    GRANT "MGMT_USER" TO "SA_ADMIN"
    - "SA_ADMIN" was granted only the permissions above.
    - I can log in OEM as "SA_ADMIN"
    - I can see OEM backup jobs and the history
    - But I cannot see any "scheduler" jobs in "OEM>Server>Jobs"
    - I get a lists of the jobs in "OEM>Scheduler Central" but I cannot display any more information of "scheduler jobs"
    - I logged off from OEM
    - I granted SCHEDULER_ADMIN role to "SA_ADMIN"
    GRANT SCHEDULER_ADMIN TO "SA_ADMIN";
    - I logged back in OEM as "SA_ADMIN
    - I can now see some scheduler jobs, but not all of the jobs, I still cannot see any of the new jobs I created logged in OEM as SYS.
    Which are the required roles/privs for viewing all scheduler jobs in OEM?

    if you grant "SYSDBA" to the new Admin user then you can see the "scheduler" jobs.
    GRANT SYSDBA TO "SA_ADMIN";
    I wanted to grant "read" access in OEM for the new user.
    This behaviour is strange.
    Without the "SYSDBA" role the new user can see the OEM backup jobs that were create in as SYS, but it cannot see the "scheduler" jobs.

  • Required roles/privs for viewing all scheduler jobs in OEM 10g

    Hello,
    I would like to know wchich role/priv schould have user to view all scheduler jobs
    in OEM console 10g. My user can see only few jobs in Scheduler jobs part of OEM 10g. User sys see all scheduler jobs.
    Thank you for reply

    Hi,
    If this is a highly privileged user you can consider the CREATE ANY JOB privilege. But this privilege allows a user to run code as any other user so it should only be granted very carefully.
    A user can also view any job he is granted ALTER privileges on directly.
    Hope this helps,

  • How to cancel all alert email in WF_NOTIFICATIONS_OUT Queue.

    Hi,
    Could any body show how to cancel all the alert email present in WF_NOTIFICATIONS_OUT queue.
    We are running 12.0.4. i have seen Doc. id. 433359.1 Tracking Workflow Notification Event Messages.
    According to this before i can recreate the queue i need to process the alert emails.
    I do not want these alert emails to be processed since it is a clone instance. I want it to either go to a test email account or to be discarded
    completely.
    I know how to send it to test email account by using setoverrde address functionality in OAM. But for that to be set i need to start the mailer (which is currently down), if i start, it will start firing these pending alert emails in WF_NOTIFICATIONS_OUT.
    Kindly suggest.

    Hi,
    These documents talk about purgin WF_NOTIFICATIONS_OUT queue. But document i mentioned
    says.
    7. Try rebuilding the WF_NOTIFICATION_OUT queue if necessary
    The wfntfqup.sql script rebuilds the WF_NOTIFICATION_OUT queue by dropping and recreating
    that queue, removing pending notification messages from the WF_DEFERRED queue, and
    repopulating the WF_NOTIFICATION_OUT queue from the Oracle Workflow Notification System
    tables.
    Wfntfqup.sql Version >=115.9
    If you have implemented Oracle Alert and the WFNOTIFICATION_OUT queue contains any pending_
    alert e-mail messages, those messages must be processed before the queue can be rebuilt. The
    wfntfqup.sql script checks the queue for any alert e-mail messages and, if it finds any, the
    script returns an error message that specifies how many alert e-mail messages are pending
    and indicates that these messages must be processed before the script can run.
    Kindly suggest.

  • How to cancel all jobs from printer

    We have network printer printing through a server, but some times some user tries to print the job locally instead of using the print server.In this case even if i clear all the jobs from the server the printer job sent to the printer trough tcp/ip  from the users computer remains hanging in the printer. In case the localy printed job is wrong or incompatible it hangs the HP printer with 49.4C02 error and there is no way to track down who sent the wrong job and printer At last the only option remains is to change the printers ip address which resolves the issue or if the user himself cancels the job from his computer. example printer : HP Color LaserJet 4700

  • How to stop a Scheduler Job in Oracle BI Publisher 10g

    Hello!
    Can someone tell me how can I stop a scheduler job in Oracle BI Publisher 10g?
    I scheduled a bursting job to run a report but is running during two days.
    I would like to stop it.
    Thanks.
    Edited by: SFONS on 19-Jan-2012 07:16

    Unfortunately there is no way to stop a job once it is being executed. Yes as you read, it is not possible once job has started.
    Same thing applies for running queries.
    Once queries are sent to the DB BIP loses control over them. The message you see (if any) "Click Here to Cancel" does not stop any query
    it is just a message.
    I guess you will have to stop/kill the process in your DB

  • How to stop a scheduled job using OMB*Plus ?

    Hello everyone,
    I use a OMB*Plus script to deploy a project in various environments. This includes scheduled jobs.
    In this context, I need to stop the schedules of the previous versions to avoid a script crash.
    I found the OMBSTOP command thad could do, but I need to retrieve the job ID of the schedule I want to stop. And I don't know how to get the Job ID.
    I could get it from a previous launch and save it somewhere, but it wouldn't work if the schedule was manually stopped and restarted. Maybe is there a command that lists the running / scheduled jobs and their IDs? I didn't find it.
    Thanks in advance for your help.
    Cedric.

    Frankly, I cannot see where this is available via pure OMB+, however you could back-door it if if you can figure out how to get these values from the public views (I would guess from the "Scheduling Views" section at http://download-east.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31080_01/doc/owb.102/b28225/toc.htm).
    Then you could use my SQL library from OMB+ to get these values and stop the schedules before deploying. you can save this file as omb_sql_library.tcl and then just "source /path/to/omb_sql_library.tcl in your own script to make the functions available in your script.
    {code}
    package require java

    So you would want to connect to the control center, query for scheduled jobs, stop them, and then continue on with your deployment. I assume that you also need to pause and check that an scheduled job in mid-run has time to exit before moving ahead. You could do a sleep loop querying against system tables looking for active sessions running mappings and waiting until they are all done or something if you really want to bulletproof the process.
    Hope this helps,
    Mike

    scarlattid3,
    The cancel button should be located in the bottom right corner of the screen. The only thing is it's not going to show up until you start the print job or copy and then it should appear for you.
    Let us know if you are able to find this.
    If I helped you at all it would be great if you clicked the blue kudos star!

  • How to cancel the background job processing in ABAP programming?

    Hi,
    I have a requirement where i need to cancel the job depending on some constraint. My code is something like this:
    Select some data from the table.
    if sy-subrc = 0.
    Do nothing.
    Else
    Cancel the job
    call function 'BP_JOB_ABORT'
      exporting
       jobcount                         = number
        jobname                          = name
    EXCEPTIONS
       CHECKING_OF_JOB_HAS_FAILED       = 1
       JOB_ABORT_HAS_FAILED             = 2
       JOB_DOES_NOT_EXIST               = 3
       JOB_IS_NOT_ACTIVE                = 4
       NO_ABORT_PRIVILEGE_GIVEN         = 5
       OTHERS                           = 6
    The above code is cancelling the job but it is throwing an exception called CX_SY_DYN_CALL_PARAM_MISSING because i dint pass job count. How can we find the job count of next job that is going to run? Or How to handle the exception which it is throwing. Even if i try to handle that exception something like this:
    TRY
    call function 'BP_JOB_ABORT'
      exporting
       jobcount                         = number
        jobname                          = name
    EXCEPTIONS
       CHECKING_OF_JOB_HAS_FAILED       = 1
       JOB_ABORT_HAS_FAILED             = 2
       JOB_DOES_NOT_EXIST               = 3
       JOB_IS_NOT_ACTIVE                = 4
       NO_ABORT_PRIVILEGE_GIVEN         = 5
       OTHERS                           = 6
    RAISE EXCEPTION TYPE CX_SY_DYN_CALL_PARAM_MISSING.
    CATCH
    CX_SY_DYN_CALL_PARAM_MISSING.
    ENDTRY.
    It avoids the exception but it doesnt cancel the job.  I even tried with function modules like JOB_OPEN
    JOB_SUBMIT,BP_JOB_SELECT,BP_JOB_ABORT and tried to build some logic using status overview table (TBTCO) and TBTCP (Jobstep overview table).
    Can someone suggest me the right way to write this program ?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    Problem is solved.
    Create an background job with 2 steps. The first step in the background job calls the program ZBACKJOB_STEP1.  In the variant we have a wrong material number
    If the material number is not found in Mara, the next step in the job should not get executed and the job should get cancelled..
    In the above posts i had asked how do I get the job count of the job that is currently triggering the program at the runtimeu2026..If u see the below code uu2019ll get to know.. We have to use the standard structure TBTCM which captures the properties/characteristics of the job.
    REPORT ZBACKJOB_STEP1.
    TABLES: MARA,TBTCM.
    PARAMETERS : MATNR TYPE MATNR.
    START-OF-SELECTION.
      SELECT SINGLE * FROM MARA WHERE MATNR = MATNR.
