How to capture packets and send to a sniffer
I have searched these forums but did not find anything on how to do this. I did this once several years ago but cannot remember how I did it. What I do remember is that I used the "debug" command and SPAN on the 6509 and the designated port where all the traffic passes through to the router and then pointed to the IP of the sniffer. I am using a Cisco 6509(core switch) and 3845 (WAN router) and a Fluke Optiview II and snmp.
Search CCO for that

Plenty of examples

How can I design and send emailers using Adobe Muse?
Hello Geeks,
How can I design and send emailers using this wonderful software called Adobe Muse?Hi
Are you referring , creating email templates or sending marketing campaigns ?
We cannot create templates as Muse doesn't output HTML optimized for e-mail output.
Regarding email campaigns, you can setup this from hosting platform end.

How to calculates averages and send to a file?(source code)
how to calculates averages and send to a file?(source code) I need to get started but I don't know where to begin...........the book I have doesn't really say how to handle averages and send to a file.................anybody got suggestions on how to get started? I am a newbie so place in layman's terms.............thanx
To calculate an average: add all of the numbers together and divide by how many numbers you added together.
ex: (1 + 2 + 3 + 10)/4 = 4 (4 is the average)
As for writing them to a file, look over the API for random or sequential access files. -
How do I create, and send a group email on my iPhone?
How do I create, and send a group email from my iPhone 4?
How to send group email without additional APP
Just spent an hour on ichat. Long and short....can't send group email. The group name appears in the TO: line, but if you click on the group name, only the first email address is blue..the rest are black and will not get the email. We tired using the CC and BC lines...same result.
However here is one solution:
I sent one email with each of the group (we are only 9 ) in the TO: line. I included my primary email. When it came to the iphone, i moved it to one of the subfolders. (Each account you may have has a list of the inbox at the top and Account at the bottom. ... that is where you can access the subfolder)
I moved the email with all names to that subfolder. I can then, open it ...do a relpy to all and just change the message and subject line. It is cumbersome, but it does work. I really think Apple, a company committed to ease of use, needs to review this flaw. I suspect it may be a bandwidth economy .... and i feel the pain of the providers...but you did create the beast. -
Capturing Footage and Sending it out!
I haven't captured footage from an actual tape source in so long, i'm not sure if I have the right stuff. I always get footage from cards or a FireWire cable I'm not sure how to capture from a broadcast camera. Will i need some sort of device that turns a BNC and XLR into Firewire or USB?
I also need to send it back out BNC and XLR also...
ScottYup. You need an IO device from AJA, Blackmagic Design or Matrox. You have an iMac? I hope it has Thunderbolt, for if not, you are SOL.
The ONLY device that will turn broadcast video connections into workable (non-DV) video is the AJA IoHD. It has been discontinued, as it only worked with FCP 6 and 7 (now dead products). And when it was made, it was $3500. But a GREAT box for that. If only Apple stuck with moving ahead with FCP instead of side stepping. Maybe you can rent one?
If you only have firewire, the only option is the IoHD. Unless you convert the signals to DV....which would stink as it's the lowest quality SD format out there. For that you can get the ADVC-300 from Canopus.

How to capture date and userdi in the alert mail
Hi,
In the alert mail I want to capture the userid, date and time. In the container I can define these variables but I was unable to caputre the values. Iam not using any BPM scenario. Can any body help me in this regard how to capture these values. Thanks in advance.
Thanks & Regards,
Mallikarjun.MHi,
Iam using the correct dict type as you mentioned in the above mail. But in my mail it shows that the container elements ZDATE of type SWFXST_DATE, ZTIME of type SWFXST_TIME as not found. I hope this will be solved.
Thanks,

How to acquire data and send via tcp/ip
well guys i'm having a problem here
i will have a client and a server....
the client will stay at my home doing some kind of monitoring
and i want that my client send this informations to me here in my work
the informations are 6 variables
3 voltages and 3 currents i already did a program for try the communication
and it works.... i used the random number only to see if i was receiving the values
and it works perfectly
now i have to put the real values... i will use a daqMX.. i don't know the exaclty daq.. but is the cheapest... because i don't need too much things...
how could i put the client to make this monitoring and send the data to me??
thanks for the help!I assume you meant the USB-6215, as there is no 6125.
I would suggest looking over this page: Getting Started with NI-DAQmx: Basic Programming with NI-DAQmx. It contains a wealth of information on using DAQmx.
You can use MAX to create a simulated 6215 so you can create tasks and
then implement your code using the simulated device. This will allow you to write the code and test it without actually having the device. Since the 6215 has only analog inputs I am assuming you're using something like a shunt to measure your 3 currents. As I noted, there are tons of examples that ship with DAQmx - just use
the Example Finder to find them. For what you're doing you can probably
get away with just using the DAQ Assistant Express VI. However, that
Express VI generates dynamic data, which you will need to convert to an
array in order to send it over TCP/IP. This can be done using the
Convert From Dynamic Data VI (in the Express palette).
Attached is a simple example using the DAQ Assistant. The task is configured to get just one sample from each channel. You will need to modify the code if you are getting N samples from each channel (i.e., basically a 2D array). In order to run this VI you will first need to create a simulated 6215 in MAX. Please read the documentation in MAX on how to create simulated devices. The 6215 is in the "M" branch when you get the dialog to select a device.

Need information for how to capture, transmit and receive a DTMF tone
Hello every body
I would like to implements the DTMF where i need some information that hoe i can
1) Capture the tone mean when i press button 'one' it has to capture and generate a vaoice file.
2) And i need to transmit the same thing to a remote system.
3) At the remote system how i can reveive and identify that the tone is for 'one'.
Thanks to ............. advance
Sreenath KulkarniJMF isn't the right tool - it's about handling media streams
You could use it to capture the audio source, then obtain the audio samples,
But you would then have to perfom some signal processing on it to interpret/decode for tone detection
This is what should already be available via the JTAPI API (haven't checked but should do this sort of thing)
ie you should be able to code up an application that receives 'DTMF Tone' events & does whatever you need to do in response
This is what IVR systems do -

How to calculate averages and send to a file?(source code)
Having trouble the book isn't very clear on how to use averages.............could some give me an example of a program..................that gets averages and send to a file..........?
From Deitel and Deitels monster 'How to Program' :
import javax.swing.JOptionPane;
public class Average {
public static void main ( String args[] )
int total, gradeCounter, gradeValue, average;
Swing grade;
total = 0;
gradeCounter = 1;
while ( gradeCounter <= 10 ) { //assuming 10 values
grade = JOption.showInputDialog ( "Enter grade: " ) ;
gradeValue = Integer.parseInt ( grade );
total += gradeValue;
gradeCounter = gradeCounter + 1;
average = total / 10;
JOptionPane.showMessageDialog (
null, "Class Average is" + average, "Class Average",
JOptionPane.INFORMATIOIN_MESSAGE );
System.exit ( 0 );
Import package java.io
Three stream objects are created when you execute , System.in, System.out, System.err
System.out can be directed to send it's output to a file or disk. -
