  • How to add Serial Number to the report name?

    HI,
    I'd like to add the option of including the SN to the report name.  A good option will be to automatically set the default base name to the SN.
    I'm open to suggestions. Either a simple solution where I'll always get the SN as the base name, or
    a more complicated solution where I can really make some modifications to the report option dialog page to include that upon user selection.
    Thanks
    Rafi
    TS3.5+CVI8.0
    p.s. an example, if exist, will be highly useful (and appreciated of course)

    That's okay... I can answer here as well...
    Under Configure >> Report Option
    UNSELECT "Store UUT Report in Batch Report File" first, then select "New UUT Report File for Each UUT"
    New UUT Report File for Each UUT—Appends a string containing the current UUT serial number to the base name of the report file. For example, uut_report.html becomes uut_report[SN000001].html. This setting is not available if you select Store UUT Report in Batch Report File.

  • How to assign request number to a report painter

    hi all
    i have to assign a request number to the report that i have created using report painter.
    please let me know how to assign a request number.
    thank you all in advance.

    Hi,
    If you are creating new report once you press Create on SE38, it would give you a screen where you enter the program details..
    After this You  get a Create Object Entry Screen on which you have to deifne Package ... Please don't select package as $TMP as it would not allow you to create request..
    Select relevant package and Press Save..
    It would give you another screen with blank Request Number..
    Please press the Create Button..
    The system will create a request Number and display in the request number..
    Press Save ..
    Hope this helps..

  • Displaying the Row and Column number in the report

    I am trying to show row and column number in the report (not just web preview). I am using Hyperion Reports Version 7.2.5.168

    use a formula column/row. use RANK function in that. (e.g. Rank([A], asc) will sort the rows based on column A values in ascending order)
    you can use this rank in your heading.
    But frankly this is not so easy. You have to do it in a very intelligent way, so that rank gives you column number/row number any how.
    Have a try and let see if you find a appropriate solution.

    Rahul

  • How to convert the Report Builder output to .xls

    Dear All,
    Let me please know how to convert the Report Builder output to Excel Format.
    As there are having the facility to convert the output in .PDF or .HTML format but i want to convert that into Excel Sheet......
    Please Guide me in this regards
    Thanks in advance
    Regards,
    Vishal......

    Hello,
    If your question is about the format spreadsheet, it is not possible from Reports Builder :
    http://www.oracle.com/webapps/online-help/reports/10.1.2/topics/htmlhelp_rwbuild_hs/rwwhthow/whatare/output/output_a_simpleexcel.htm
    Restrictions
    It is not possible to generate spreadsheet output directly from Reports Builder. Instead, on the command line, you can run the report using rwrun or Reports Server clients (rwservlet, rwclient, rwcgi), with DESFORMAT=SPREADSHEET. You cannot store DESFORMAT=SPREADSHEET as a system parameter value in the report definition (.rdf file).

  • How to know whether a concurrent program (report, procedure) is ......

    Hi All,
    How to know whther a conurrent program (report or package) is "Single OU or Multiple OU".
    OU: Operating Unit
    Any advice appreciated.
    Thanks

    Are you asking how to tell whether a concurrent program can be run for a single Operating Unit in a multi-Operating Unit environment?
    If you are asking about standard Oracle concurrent programs, then I would say that they should all be capable of running for a single OU in a multi-OU environment WHERE the module relates to operating units. For example the HR/Payroll modules do not relate to operating units, but rather business groups and concurrent programs in these modules will be able to be run by business group.
    If you are asking about custom concurrent programs, then I would suggest the easiest way to tell would be to run them and see, although having an Org ID parameter would be a good indication.

  • How to integrate conditional colors to the Report

    <!--Hi all APEX gurus,
    I would like to ask if you could help me with the problem how to integrate conditional COLORS to the Report. I need to display Severity field in RED but how to include the multiple "quotation marks" and 'apostrophs' to the query below?
    I need to replace i."Severity" field in the query below with the DECODE like this:
    DECODE (i."Severity", 1, '<span style="color:red;font-weight:bold">' || i."Severity" || '</span>', i."Severity") "Severity"
    Original Query:
    DECLARE
    q varchar2(4000);

    q := q || ' i."ID" "ID", ';
    q := q || ' i."Task_ID" "Task ID", ';

  • How to pass an array or structure, in addition to a query, or multiple queries to the Report Builder as parameters

    Is there a way to pass an array or structure for example as parameters, in addition to a query, or multiple queries to the Report Builder in CF8? I believe this was recommended by users to be in CF8.

    BrianO,
    Although it's been a while, I thought I'd provide the code to do this for you. It works for me in CF8, and probably will in CF7.
    Here I create a structure called My, and provide that one parameter to my CFReportParam tag.
    <CFSet My = {
    Client = "Client Name",
    ReportDateFrom = DateFormat(ThisStartDate, DateMask),
    ReportDateTo = DateFormat(ThisEndDate, DateMask),
    PageHeaderImage = ImagePath & "\Logos\Page_Header.png",
    WatermarkImage = ImagePath & "\Logos\Watermark.png",
    GetBarSummary = GetBarSummary,
    GetPieSummary = GetPieSummary
    }>
    <CFReport Template="#ReportPath#\SpendSummary.cfr" Format="PDF" Query="GetSummary">
    <CFReportParam Name="My" Value="#My#">
    </CFReport>
    Inside the report itself, reference the given parameter as Param.My.PageHeaderImage for example. It can be referenced that way from any expression inside the report builder. You can even use the queries as the data source for charts (using the Data From a Query -> Query Builder -> Advanced) by entering "Param.My.GetPieSummary" where it says "Variable containing query object".
