Our application is dataware housing applications (OLAP) there are millions of records in tables when i create a summary table and try to insert record in summary table i get this error. i thought the cause of this error is compression while create table. i have create table without compression but still get this error. when i tried to insert more then 8 million record in summary table i can this error. it created table and insert record successfully when record less then 8 million. this is very strange thing i'm stuck at this point what i need to do in this regard that why i want to Put a SR but i did not get any button to that

    Hi,
    The thing is like this....
    i have a released request in which we have more than 1200 objects, in that i dont need 10 objects.
    so when i create it as copy of transport request, i just deleted those 10 objects and saved.
    Now, if i transport the new request how many objects will go? 1200 or 1190?
    in the new request i am getting the old request under Comment: Object List Included.
    is it necessary to transport the old request?
    i need to transport only 1190 objects.

  • How to Create Service request to notify the customer

    Hi All,

    Hi Prajit,

    As far as i know from diff forum, when we submit an request order, internally system create service request for each approved item line.
    My requirement to just create below request (template), so user can submit access request by using Solman service desk (service request).
    Please help me.

  • Unable to Create Service Request Template in CRM

    Hello,
    I need to create a service request template in crm web ui,
    Following are the steps followed.
    I have identified the transaction type as SRQT screen shot attached below
    However when I click on on the work center link groups of the service pro role, I am not able to find the same for the service request template
    As per the post below it says that you need to go navigation bar profile and add the SM-SUPPORT work center and the work center link group as SM-SRQT-CR
    How to customize service request templates
    The error appears when I try to add the logical link id,
    Because of the above error I am not able to create service request template in sap crm, please advice which logical link ID, I need to use so that the service request template can be created in the system.
    Kind Regards
    Atul

    Hi Atul,
    1. Screen shot 1 is correct
    2. Screen shot 2 - You are at end of all work centers in your custom role which you might have copied from standard or Z role. If you look in standard role SERVICEPRO, navigation bar profile SRV-PRO, work center - SRV-ORD, you will find service request template
    In Cases work Center in standard SERVICEPRO role you can create service request template.
    Try copying this to your custom role in your required work center. It should work.

  • Difference between Change request and Service request

    HI All,
    Can any body tell me the actual difference between Change request and Service Request. Does it have any difference ? Or they are same.

    Are you referring to the project Specific Terms ??? If yes, then following are the differences.
    Change Request - Suppose user is using a Sales Report which displays Revenue by Customer. Now the user wants to see the same by Product as well which is not available in the current report. So the user raises a Change request and the development team works on it to include the same and make it avaialable for the user.
    Service Request - These kind of requests are more likely raised when the user needs access to some system (raise service request to Security team), wants to move a transport to the Production box (raise Service request to Basis Team)..etc.

    On Demand doesn't support adding attachments via web services. One
    solution I've seen is depending on the scenario is to create a web link
    field on an object that's based on a custom text field. Your web service
    can populate that custom field and the web link can generate a dynamic
    link to the file in On Demand's UI. However, this depends on where the
    attachment is located and if the user needs some sort of firewall access.
    Hope this helps

  • Reporting In Service Manager 2012 - How To Get A List Of All Service Requests Regardless of Status

    Within the Custom Reporting Options available to users of Ssystem Center Service Manager 2012, which would one use to create reports that do not contain any agregated data but are instead detail level info such as a list of all Service Requests reardless
    of status?  I want to include within the report the same data you see on the main page of a Service Request when you double-click a Service Request within Service Manager and it pops opne the details of the Service Request.
    I'm trying to get the following info for each Service Requests
    SR ID (i.e. SR1234)
    Affected User
    Title
    Description
    Priority
    Source
    Area
    Support Group
    Assigned To
    Created By and Created On
    I know the cubes w/Excel offer a great way to get data for a **piece meal report or for getting agregated data (I.E. counts, sums, avergares, Max's & Mins) but I need a report that has zero totals and no agregations.
    Thanks
    ** A piece meal report is a report that has to be manually pieced together by combining data from others reports and other sources because no single report can be constructed to bring all the data togethere into a single report.  If you've ever
    worked with an accountant taht uses Excel for everything but who has no idea how SQL or databases in general are deisgned then chances are you've either been asked to create a piece meal report for them and or seen them do one them selves when they open a
    spreadshet and dump into it disperate data from a variety of sources and then ask you why you can't automate that same report for them.

  • How to create a view for all Service Requests that are not approved by reviewer

    Hallo,
    I want to create a view in the Service Requests library that shows all SRs that are not approved. How to configure condition that says: if a SR has related Review Activity which is In Progress, show that SRs?
    I couldn't find this when creating the view. Thank you.

    So here's the first problem with that: Which review activity? a SR can contain multiple RAs, so how do we decide if an arbitrary SR is approved or not?
    As to the specific language you use (Any child RA is In Progress) you might want to look at the criteria from the default Change approval view, which does something similar:
    <QueryCriteria Adapter="omsdk://Adapters/Criteria" xmlns="http://tempuri.org/Criteria.xsd">
    <Criteria>
    <FreeformCriteria>
    <Freeform>
    <Criteria xmlns="http://Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Core.Criteria/">
    <Expression>
    <And>
    <Expression>
    <SimpleExpression>
    <ValueExpressionLeft>
    <Property>$Context/Path[Relationship='CoreActivity!System.WorkItemContainsActivity' TypeConstraint='CoreActivity!System.WorkItem.Activity.ReviewActivity']/Property[Type='CoreActivity!System.WorkItem.Activity']/Status$</Property>
    </ValueExpressionLeft>
    <Operator>Equal</Operator>
    <ValueExpressionRight>
    <Value>$MPElement[Name="CoreActivity!ActivityStatusEnum.Active"]$</Value>
    </ValueExpressionRight>
    </SimpleExpression>
    </Expression>
    <Expression>
    <SimpleExpression>
    <ValueExpressionLeft>
    <Property>$Context/Property[Type='CoreChange!System.WorkItem.ChangeRequest']/Status$</Property>
    </ValueExpressionLeft>
    <Operator>Equal</Operator>
    <ValueExpressionRight>
    <Value>$MPElement[Name="CoreChange!ChangeStatusEnum.InProgress"]$</Value>
    </ValueExpressionRight>
    </SimpleExpression>
    </Expression>
    </And>
    </Expression>
    </Criteria>
    </Freeform>
    </FreeformCriteria>
    </Criteria>
    </QueryCriteria>
    This is a simple AND criteria with two componets. one looking for a Review Activity (TypeConstraint='CoreActivity!System.WorkItem.Activity.ReviewActivity') which is related to the targetting CR by Contains Activity ($Context/Path[Relationship='CoreActivity!System.WorkItemContainsActivity';
    Context in this... context means the CR targeted by the view) where it's status (/Property[Type='CoreActivity!System.WorkItem.Activity']/Status$) is In Progress ($MPElement[Name="CoreActivity!ActivityStatusEnum.Active"]$). The other is filtering
    for the target change request's status ( $Context/Property[Type='CoreChange!System.WorkItem.ChangeRequest']/Status$) is In Progress ($MPElement[Name="CoreChange!ChangeStatusEnum.InProgress"]$).
    You could convert the second criteria to point to SRs and SR status values, and then use the similar text for the first criteria. i'd recommend
    Anton's Advanced View Editor (or
    the free version) to do the criteria adjustment.

  • How can I view previous soft-closed service requests on Metalink?

    Hi,
    I'm trying to find a previous service request that I lodged on Metalink that has been closed normally (soft-closed), however all I can find are currently open ones, and hard-closed ones (if I tick a box). How can I use Metalink to view these previous service requests?
    Thanks
    Adam

    I believe they automatically get hard-closed after a period of time (default 14 days unless you ask for more)? How old are the soft-closed ones? See metalink note: 166650.1 Working Effectively With Support

  • How do I add a Voter to a Review Activity on a Service Request from an AD User Query on the Request Offering?

    I have the query set-up and it works fine, but I cannot map it to anything, I suppose because it is an object and not a simple string. I think I get the option to Map it to related items or configuration items in the Query itself maybe, I seem to remember
    seeing that, but I can not map it to anywhere on the Service Request or Activities in the Request Offering Set-Up.
    However, looking at my Update Object Activity in My Runbook, I do not see how to add a person to a review activity anyway.
    Can someone enlighten me?
    I do not know Powershell well enough to use it with SCSM or Orchestrator yet, and I am not even sure if we have SMLets so keep it simple if possible.
    Thanks for any assistance!

  • How to call Badi - CRM_ORDERADM_H_MERGE only on saving of service request.

    Hello CRM Experts,
    I am trying to change value of a field - "object_id" of table "CRMD_ORDERADM_H" while creation of a service request. I am doing this by implemeting BADI - CRM_ORDERADM_H_BADI, method - CRM_ORDERADM_H_MERGE. In this method I am creating a new number and updating it in Object_id field of orderadmh table. This badi is getting called on every button click like - NEW, SAVE, even on pressing enter in service request creation page.
    But I want to execute the code written in this method only on clicking SAVE button in web ui. But I am not able to find a way to do so.
    Please suggest something.
    Thanks,
    Pooja

    Actually another way of doing this would be to create a new BTE function module instead.  You can control the timing so that the function module will only fire once upon save if you configure the correct event timing.
    To find out more on how to use this do a search here on CRMV_EVENT or run that transaction code in your system and click on "read this information".
    For a bigger hint you would target:
    Transaction Category - BUS20001 - or specific category that you need.
    Execution TIme - 78 Before Saving
    Object - ORDERADM_H
    Event - BEFORE_SAVE
    Attribute <*>
    or perhaps
    Execution TIme 88
    Object ORDERADM_H
    Event - INIT
    or even:
    Execution time - immediately
    Object ORDERADM_H
    Event AFTER_Create
    In either case the call callback would be of type C call  once per transaction
    I would do an CRMV_EVENT_TRACE to figure out where to put this, but that's my best ideas.
    Take care,
    Stephen
