Hello;
we want to render our project in after effect 4 to xdcam hd 1440*1080 format.Is there anyway to do this or any codec?

You cannot render XDCAM, but of course you can simply render a QT file to the target spec and import it into your edit suite. Since AE does not deal with persistent timecode and possibly specific metadata and audio things, you would have to do that, anyway.

In the Render menu, top right of the Canvas pane, you can turn off all the render settings not in use, such as lighting, shadows, etc. Also, set the resolution and quality in that menu down lower.
When you're ready to export, you can re-set those settings to how you want it to export.

You can:
1) Perform a project clean up (p.153 of the user manual) - it removes any unused recordings, samples and other files
2) Consolidate project (p. 154 of manual) - this copies all the used audio material into the project folder and also deletes any empty folders within project folder, making it easier to navigate
3) Save project as a copy - this creates another project folder, but without all the backups and other additional files

Did you switch the TV's input to the HDMI port you are using with the computer? Did you open Displays preferences to see if a second screen is displayed and then check the box to mirror to the TV screen? Did you search Google for any help links on how to do what you are trying to do?

How to render animation to a MP4 format or something else?

Hello. I usually render my animation to uncompressed AVI because after it I have to render it again with different software for video motage. So there wasn't any problem. But today I have to render my animation directly from After Effects. So I can't render it to uncompressed AVI anymore. I try render to MP4 format but that doesn't exsist. Even after wathich that tutorial below, I don't have that option what we can see in this video:
So I try to do something else. And I found different format as QUICKTIME with H.264. But after render, I can't see my animation (I can see only voice, there is no video). What is strange because movies from Adobe Premiere rendered to H.264 codec work perectly! The same codec but if I render videos from After Effects I can't see it in Windows. But from Adobe Premeire I can. Strange!
So I render my animation to QUICKTIME -> Motion-A format. And it works, I can see a whole rendered video now. But... 5 sec is over 150MB! And this is way to heavy.
Please, tell me what I have to do to render my animation in a good preset.

MP4 is the best format for what you describe.
After Effects never did a good job of rendering to that format.
Instead of wasting development time trying to make AE better at it, the After Effects team chose to let the Adobe Media Encoder team work on encoding things and they would work on making After Effects perform better and have better features.
So, either render an intermediate file from AE and use that in the Adobe Media Encoder or send your AE comp directly to AME. Either way, you will use the Adobe Media Encoder to make an MP4. That's how I did it even when AE could make MP4's because AE wasn't good at making them. You can get better quality at smaller file sizes with AME. Go with it.

Are you not storing the project number in the staging table designed for storing the task data? You can use create_project API to create the project and tasks at the same time with one single call. You may want to try that option

How to render PDF in InfoPath whose source is a memory stream

I'm struggling to interface InfoPath calling a Web service that generates a PDF and rendering the PDF for the user.
The document workflow is:
Using InfoPath (using both the fat client and browser client), display a form for the user to complete.
Collect the entered information and call the Opus Web Service (Elixir) to render a PDF.
The PDF is sent back to InfoPath through the web service call.
Open the PDF for the user and provide them the ability to review and/or print the document.
It's this last step that's causing the problems -- It's no problem when this is all part of a web page. This work flow is used for thousands of PDF reviews via web pages daily. However, because I have to use InfoPath, I'm struggling to find an easy solution. I can't write the returned data to disk and open the document because the InfoPath Browser is really tied into SharePoint and I don't want to store temporary PDF files on the SharePoint server.
My issue is : How to render a PDF document that is sourced as a memory stream.
I'm down to a couple of possible solutions and have some questions:
1) I looked at writing a plug-in to support another ASFileSys interface which would be used to read from memory instead of from disk. But I don't see a way to invoke my plug-in through an API. Is this possible?
2) I looked at the OLE interfaces, but didn't see a nice way to pass a document in through memory. Is there an interface that accomplishes this task?
3) I did see that I could create a compound document in memory and then call the OLE interfaces. Has anyone done this and is it maintainable ?
4) The OLE format also lends itself to placing the PDF inside of an RTF to display. Seems like a lot of work to put a wrapper around the PDF, but I do think that also alleviates the need to register any components in SharePoint. Again, has anyone seen this done?
In the end, none of these seem very straight forward. So I have to ask, am I missing something obvious here?

Infopath has a fat client interface and a browser version where the server is a sharepoint server. So the web service executes on the local desktop or in the Sharepoint server depending upon which interface is used. The best way to work on InfoPath solutions is to focus on the fat client solution with a couple of caveats. Asume that you can't create temp files, and assume that you can't invoke a new application, and that you aren't in an HTTP request/response environment (since Sharepoint is a wrapper around the back end browser interface). You can invoke code that is in DLLs, OCX, TLB, etc... (typical Active X, or library code).

I am trying to render a comp with alpha channel QT PNG. When i play the clip it's with black BG but if i imported in AE is with alpha channel. How to render in such way that i can play in Quicktime without the black BG? Am i missing something?

You've successfully rendered the alpha channel. Alpha information is not displayed as expected in some players. IN QT Player, your alpha is transparent but the player has no background so it defaults to black. Check the playback operations and settings/prefs for QT Player, there may be a way to tell it to show alpha information.

CMS inbox can be figured out this way:
1. go to CMS webui -- Landscape Configurator -- Domain Data tab.
2. notice the path entered into the field Transport folder.
3. your CMS inbox is then <Transport folder>/CMS/inbox
Now make sure the required SCAs are available in this folder, and then go to the CMS webui- Transport studio -- select the track -- on "Check-In" tab check in the SCs, and make sure you import them to both Development and Consolidation. Only after this will you able to create a DC in your NWDS, otherwise everything will be grayed out.

you mean Gantt chart.
a gantt chart is basically a graphical representation of the activities/wbs element based on the dates/durations...
it can be directly downloaded to ms project if you have open PS..
however, if you are using excel, you can easily derive the gantt chart based on the start and finish dates (planned/basic/actual/forecast dates) of the objects...
you can access CN41N then go to Evaluation > Export > Spreadsheet..
with this you can derive the gantt chart based on the data..
