Then login with user sidadm and fire command "startsap"

  • How to config DAQmx device on remote system

How can I set the DAQmx device on the remote system? I have NI-7831R on a desktop, but when I open MAX on my lap top which is connected to the desktop I can't see the device? Should I do something to configure the device?

The 7831R is not a DAQmx device, so it should not show up under your DAQmx devices.  It should show up in MAX on the computer it is installed in as as a RIO device.  However this will only show up if you have NI-RIO driver installed on the system as well.  What version of NI-RIO are you using?

  • How to start Archiving process in production system.

    Dear Experts,
As i was new to archiving process need help regarding this.as our client as 1.3 Tb of data with them,as they want to clean the unwanted data from the database.as they are using windows 2003 as server, oracle as database and using sapr/3 4.6 c.i want to know from where i have to start the process.i have read so many threads regarding this.they are helpful for me.i have some queries that i have to clarify.
    1) I have found which table increasing more in database.,i have checked (DB15 ,SAARA).how to find this has to archive.
    2) Data which is not important who has to delete that data.i heard data deletion is not basis work.
    3) After deleting data in datbase without reorganising space will not be empty is this may be the cause??
    4) is there any data loss in  reoraganising??
    5) is there any way to do reorganising with brtools in oracle.??
    Please clarify me.
    Regards,
    Naveen  N

    Dear Naveen,
Data archiving is an inter-departmental activity.
The person responsible for each application (which he/she is using in SAP Solution to carry out the business process) should be involved in SAP Data Archiving Process/Activities.
The team should be grouped with the persons responsible for each application.
After the planned Analysis, The team grouped for executing the Data Archiving process produce the checklist for Archive Data (based on your business process and other dependent factors). They will provide the inputs (archiving objects) for Data Archiving requirements.
Moreover, As a part of Data Archiving process, you will have to delete the planned archive data from the actual Database. So, some spaces will become free in Database but all will be scattered in its respected Tablespace(s) in random manner. You will have to perform Database Reorganization to regain the free space.Because, The Data is stored in Database in form of Fragmented database objects (Tables/Indexes) in its respective Tablespace (s).Reorganization is generally performed to defragment these database objects. By doing so, one can improve performance and regain the space within tablespaces that was being unused due to fragmentation.
I hope this information will be helpful.

  • How to start listener in sql developer for remote debug

how to start listener in sql developer for remote debug ? Since the new version 1.1.0.23 is different with the old version for remote debug, I don't know how to start the listener on the new version for remote debug.
even follow the user guide below and not work . Experts on sql developer please help me with this.
    Remote Debugging
To debug a procedure or function for a connection where the database is on a different host than the one on which you are
running SQL Developer, you can perform remote debugging.
Remote debugging involves many of the steps as for local debugging; however, do the
following before you start the remote debugging: Use an Oracle client such as SQL*Plus to issue the debugger connection command. Whatever
client you use, make sure that the session which issues the debugger connection commands is the same session which executes your PL/SQL
    program containing the breakpoints.
For example, if the name of the remote system is remote1, use the following SQL*Plus command to open a
TCP/IP connection to that system and the port for the JDWP session:
EXEC DBMS_DEBUG_JDWP.CONNECT_TCP('remote1', '4000'); The first parameter
is the IP address or host name of the remote system, and the second parameter is the port number on that remote system on which the debugger
    is listening.
Right-click the connection for the remote database, select Remote Debug, and complete the information in the Debugger - Attach
to JPDA dialog box. Then, follow the steps that you would for local debugging (for example, see Debugging a PL/SQL Procedure).
Debugger - Attach to JPDA This dialog box is displayed when you right-click a database connection name and select Remote Debug.
    Use this
dialog box if you are using the Sun Microsystem's Java Platform Debugger Architecture (JPDA) and you would like the debugger to listen so
that a debuggee can attach to the debugger.
For more information about remote debugging, see Remote Debugging.
Host: Name or IP address of
the remote host on which SQL Developer should listen for the database to connect.
Port: Listening port number on the remote host. You can
choose any valid port number that is not in use by another process.
Timeout: The number of seconds that SQL Developer will wait for the
remote database to make a debugging connection. Don't Show Dialog Box Before Connecting: If this option is checked, this dialog box will not
be displayed before future connections for remote debugging

    You're not the only one:
Not able to start remote debug listener

  • How to pass parameter into remote system

i'm doing a small testing on remote connection where i need to remotely login to another NT machine by using JAVA code. therefore i need to send over the ctrl-Alt-Del command by using ASCII code as well as the username and password to login to the remote NT machine. My problem is after my JAVA code start up the VNC connection, the ASCII code and parameter passing was executed before the VNC window popup therefore the parameters are not received by the remote end.

    Hi oling,
i am really not sure how u can invoke or rather pass parameters to a Remote System thru Java, where no Java server is running.
which Java Api do u use to connect to remote System. How will the remote System understand the serialised bytes transferred thru ur program.
The Bottomline is i am confused how will the connection haapen after all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
can u please explain this or rather pass me the Code...
