Hp Omni 120 all in one PC

I have a Hp Omni all in one 120 PC. I was wondering if i can plug in my ps3 to the computer? I have no hdmi slots in my computer.

When requesting assistance, please provide the complete model name and/or product number of the HP computer in question. HP/Compaq makes thousands of model of computers. Without this information it may be difficult or impossible to assist you in resolving the issue.
An HDMI input port on the right hand side of your computer would be required for game consoles and video players to be connected to your Omni All-in-One. This HDMI input that you computer doesn't have, is what allows your computer screen to act as a display for game consoles, video player, and the like.
Since you computer doesn't have any HDMI ports, you cannot use your PS3 with it.

I am looking for an adaptor to mount my Omni 100-5050 all in one PC to the wall.  Having trouble finding an adaptor.  Any suggestions would be great!  Thank for you help.

I am aware #2 was a lead into the style of mount. The google link did reference the 5050.

  • HP Envy 120 All in One Printer no longer recognises MacBook Air

Since upgrading to Yosemite, my HP Envy 120 no longer recognises my Macbook Air and vice versa via the router, having worked previously (not perfectly all the time admittedly but connection wasn't an issue). I can connect Macbook to printer via HP direct, but this means disconnecting from the internet, scanning, then re-connecting to internet which is a bit of a faff and seems a backwards move.
I have downloaded the latest HP printer driver software, followed all suggestions I can find on this such as deleting the printer on the Macbook under system preferences, but when I try to add it back on, nothing shows. I've tried adding the IP address manually, this comes up with an error message. I've done the wireless wizard on the printer and that was successful so it is connected to the router but is not detecting my computer, which is also connected to the same router.
The printer is still under warranty - I meant to take it back when I had earlier problems but decided to stick with it a bit longer. I'm just trying to work out - is it a HP problem or is it an Apple problem - ie can I return the printer under the warranty?
Or does anyone have any simple fixes? I'm not at all computer literate!
    Many thanks!

    Hi,
As you mention that you do able to use the printer with no issues by using HP Wireless Direct, that means that this is neither HP or Apple issue but a network connectivity issue.
Apple devices uses Bonjour to communicate with the printer, that relies on IP Muticasting which need to be supported by your router.
If I clearly understood your description and the device do work as expected using HP Wireless Direct, the router is the cause for this issue as you do not see similar issues while removing the oruter from that acquisition... please also let me know if i have misunderstood your intention about the issue.
Additionally, have you tried rebooting your router by unplugging its power for 10-20 seconds? once it starts up reboot both the printer and then Mac and check for any difference..
Please try that and check if that help. if the issue persists do let me know your router brand and model, its settings or capabilities may cause a such and may prevet this kind of connectivity.

    Hello,
For you to be able to remove the Power On password, you need to remove the rear cover, then remove the metal cover that protects the motherboard and remove the jumper located close to the memory modules.
Then try to power on the system and see if that resolved your problem.

  • HP Omni 27-1210xt All-In-One Desktop PC ... Missing icons

    Hello All,
I bought an HP Omni 27-1210xt All-In-One desktop PC with wireless mouse and keyboard and Windows 8 OS approximately 7 months ago.  The indicator on the mouse is now intermittenly flashing Yellow.
While researching my problem on the HP website I came across an HP Support Document that dealt with troubleshooting a wireless keyboard and mouse.
    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?prodSeriesId=4162199&objectID=c0194489...
Within this document, under the heading "Improving the performance of the wireless keyboard and mouse" it references mouse and keyboard battery-level indicator icons that reside in the notification area and to hover the mouse pointer over them to display their statuses.
I now know that "Green = a full battery, Yellow = the battery is half full and Red = it's time to change the batteries" but it would still be nice to have them available to check at a glance.
I have checked my Notification Area Icons and they are not there.  Can they be added?  And if so, how?  Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Yes! Absolutely. That is important information because with it only being 7 months old, you are still well within the one-year standard warranty that comes with all HP computers.
Now, just to warn you, I don't know if the following scenario will apply to your computer or not. Often the warranty start date can be inaccurate. This is a normal thing and it can be corrected. It happens because some computers sit on the shelf at retail store for two months, sometimes only a day. Until the day it's purchased, HP has no way of predicting what date the computer will be purchased so all warranties start on the date of manufacture.
Like I said, it is very easy to correct, so don't worry. If you call in and they say it seems you are out of warranty, just let them know what day (just a time frame) you got it. They will need a digital copy of the receipt. It is expected that most customers won't still have the receipt. It's not a big deal. Retail stores can provide you with a copy. It takes, maybe, 48 hours to get corrected. Once the warranty start date is corrected in the system, the tech support agent can create an order for mouse replacement or USB dongle replacement.
Warranty start dates being incorrect is an issue that sometimes happen when the computer is nearing the 1 year mark, so I just wanted to provide you with a little forewarning. As I said, this issue may not even apply to your computer.
If you decide to contact tech support, and receive a replacement mouse or dongle, update the thread if you get a chance on the results

  • All in one Hp Omni 27 blank screen

    Hi all!
I have an all in one Hp Omni 27-1001es and i have a really big problem!!!
Yesterday i was working on pc and needed to leave it for some minute.
When i got back the screen was blank and the pc looked freezed; i tried to reboot and nothing changed!!!!
At start up the power button led works, the fan starts to work and the led of hard drive too but the screen continues without signal of life. Unplugged everything, opened the case to clean from dust, checked the Ram and nothing appears to be burned or disconnected.
    Thanx for any help

    Hi RedRose,
thank you very much for the support and sorry if i'm late for reply.
I tried your solution but nothing changed! The screen still remain blank so i decided to open the case to see if something was burned. I cleaned every single sign of dust and i tried to unplug the graphic card to see if there was something wrong.
The graphic card seemed to be ok, but the cooling system of the cpu was full of dust so the fan didn't do his job well with the graphic cooling system.
Here the motherboard were you can see that the cooling system of this all in one is made in a wrong way
So if the radiator of the CPU is dirty (nº 2) the cool air doesn't pass to the graphic card radiator (nº2).
It means that the graphic card becomes hot and burns the motherboard in that part.
My question is, if this is a problem of building design, can i ask to hp to fix it without paying a new motherboard?
    Thanks

  • Screen Flickering - HP Omni 120-1132 desktop

Hi. I have about a year old Omni 120-1132 all-in-one desktop running Windows 7. The last two days I've noticed screen flickering. I've checked cables, all my drivers are up to date, but I still have this flickering. It's not bad - I notice it mostly on pages that are a dark background (like Tumblr, for example) - but it is annoying. Is there something else or somewhere else I should be looking to resolve the issue?
    Thanks!

I went back through and adjusted the power saving settings to "balanced" and the flickering seems to have stopped. the screen is super bright now, but the flickering is gone. hopefully.
If anyone else needs to try it:
    -control panel
    -hardware and sound
    -power options
-switch back to 'balanced' if you'd previously adjusted your monitor settings
