HR Birthdate Issue

We are trying to use the HR portion but have run into a birthdate issue. We have an employee born in 1948 but the interface will not allow the date to be entered. If we key in 1950 and do the calendar popup, 1948 appears but it sticks as 2048. It then snowballs with review dates, etc... Is there a solution?
Version info: SAP B1 2007 A (8.00.154) SP:00 PL:06

Howard;
You can change the date format in the company setting to hold the year in four digit format.   If you don't want it shown that way permanently, you can change it back after having entered the data and it will store correctly in the database.
hope that helps.

  • Family share troubles - issues inviting and issues seing apps

    I'm having some serious issues with family sharing for my kids iPads. Since their old ones are  ... old we decided to give them each a iPad Air. Before I've had them setup with my account but I decided to use family sharing and give them their own accounts.
    Problem 1: I first didn't realize that you could set up kids appleId so I created a AppleId for my son with a "fake" birthdate. Everything got set up on his iPad and waiting to be added to our family. on my iPad 2 I had set me up as the family organizer, made sure "share apps" was selected and invited my son via his AppleId. He got the mail with the invitation on his iPad but when I clicked on the blue button in the mail to view the invitation it just brought me to a webpage in Safari telling me to do this on an IOS or Yosemite OSX-machine. Thanks Apple - where did you think I was?
    Short story - never got that working on either kids iPad. I can log in to icloud.com with their id's but can't accept any invite there either.
    In the end I realized I could create kids AppsId's from the family sharing screen on my iPad. I did that for both kids setting up that they need to ask to buy/download apps.
    Problem 2: After the kids AppleID's were created i set up to restart the iPad-setup for my sons iPad, now with his AppleID. Next issue: I could choose to log in with his AppleID and got to the next screen accepting something but when it then started to set up the AppleID I got the error that it could not create the AppleID. Which is correct as it already exists.
    Short story: I found out I could not do the full setup using my kids AppleID's, only a "Adult" AppleID. However - if I simply choose to skip that step and got into the iPad I could then add their AppleID account to both iTunes/Appstore and iCloud on that iPad.
    Problem 3: Ok, I managed to "sneak" in the accounts on each child iPad. I tested to to a purchase/download on them and it first asked for password (their) and then it told them it would ask med for permission. After I gave it they could download the app. So so far so good. But then the issue poped up: neither of the kids iPads can see the main iPad's apps.
    On my "parent" iPad I get a new link under Purchases saying "My purchases" and from there I can select my iPad or my kids and thus see any shared app. Neither of their iPads have that link.
    I've tried everything that was specified on Apple's troubleshooting page:
    My iPad has family sharing of apps turned on on my user
    I've made sure the AppleID logged into iTunes/Appstore is the same as the one for iCloud
    I've logged out of iTunes/Appstore and in again on the main iPad
    I've downloaded a free app on my main iPad.
    I've bought/downloaded apps on all 3 iPads after this was set up. Main iPad sees the kids apps, not the other way around.
    What the .... could be the issue? My iPad Air 2 is pretty newly installed and the kids iPad Air's are brand new. I love the idea of family sharing but unless I find a solution soon I will have to go back to letting them have my account there and rely on passwords to block them from buying stuff (which works as they are pretty young (3 and 6).

    I can't help you with your issue, but I can ask our gracious Hosts to get this moved to the Using iPhone forum where it may get wider exposure than it has received in this relatively low traffic forum whose topic is Using the ASC webForum.

    Hello, I have an Iphone 3GS and can't connect to Game Center.  It recognizes my apple ID account, states it was never used with Game Center. Then asks for country, birthdate, then returns to ask country again, then birthdate, and returns to the loop. Never ends the loop unless I cancel the setup process.  I have restored the iphone to the factory settings and restored the backup, but did not work. Any suggestions on what can be the problem? thank you.

    I just read another post that says you can go into a game that allows for multiple players and utalizes game center and enter your account information that way.  I haven't tried it yet, but it seems to work for others that had this issue.

    There is nothing that you can do to get rid of the balance on your own. Contact iTunes Store Support and seek their assistance. I believe that they can reset your balance for you.

  • Issue in cell format when exporting data to excel

    Hello there,
    I have an ABAP program that selects data from tables into an internal table and writes the data in CSV (excel) file.
    I have a very weird issue when writing the file: The data is written properly, though the dates in my data, which is written in yyyymmdd format, has different cell format in the csv file itself. I'll expain:
    Let's say I've written into CSV file a table with name and birthdate, and I have 2000 records. From record 1 to 1475, when I right-click on the date cells in those lines, and choose "cell format", I can see it's in "general" format. From line 1476 on, when I do that I see that the date cells are in format of "custom" with pattern 'yyyymmdd'.
    I want all the cells to be "general". How do I do that?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Daniel,
    Try using these Function Module......................
    Before filling final internal table write those condition.................................
    Data:  gv_date   TYPE mch1-vfdat,
             gv_vdate(10) TYPE c.
    CALL FUNCTION 'CONVERT_DATE_TO_EXTERNAL'
           EXPORTING
             date_internal            = gv_date
           IMPORTING
             date_external            = gv_vdate
           EXCEPTIONS
             date_internal_is_invalid = 1
             OTHERS                   = 2.
         IF sy-subrc <> 0.
    * Implement suitable error handling here
         ENDIF.

  • Custom Date for Birthdate entry

    I got issued a project that requires me to take a pre-exsisting professional Scholarship form and make it into a PDF. I've been able to make the form fields with no problem but I'm running into a few issues with the Date format.  This form requires the Applicant to type out their Birthdate and Social Security #, however, the higher ups don't like the default method Acrobat uses.
    Problem #1: Because some of our Applicants are Elderly and/or are not very computer literate, I want there to be "some" flexibility to them typing out their birthdate.  IE, MDDYY, MMDDYY, MDDYYYY, MMDDYYYY will Validate through a script that turns it into the company standard format of MM/DD/YYYY.  I have a very basic bit of Custom Keystroke script that I found and edited slightly.  Its not pretty though.
    var a = event.value;
    if(a.length==5){var b = util.scand("mddyy",a);event.value = util.printd("mm/dd/yyyy",b)}
    if(a.length==6){var b = util.scand("mmddyy",a);event.value = util.printd("mm/dd/yyyy",b)}
    if(a.length==7){var b = util.scand("mddyyyy",a);event.value = util.printd("mm/dd/yyyy",b)}
    if(a.length==8){var b = util.scand("mmddyyyy",a);event.value = util.printd("mm/dd/yyyy",b)};
    This does what I want it to do, sort of, but deviating outside of this script results in undesired results. IE typing 02/13/71 will get 02/13/71 not 02/13/1971.  Then there's a potential problem of the century. Typing 021327 will get 02/13/2027 not 1927.
    Can anyone lead me in the right direction of where to close the flexibilty off at giving an Audio Alert when any other keystroke besides 0-9 and / is entered while maintaning the Validity of the above format of MM/DD/YYYY?
    (I realize this is pretty much nitpicking, but the higher ups say jump and I have to say How High and I'm not at the skill level yet to achieve the desired results.)
    Problem #2: In the same form, the Applicants SSN needs to be entered but the default format under Properties > Format > Special is requiring the full 9 digits. However, we have more than a few people who have "less" than 9 digits.  Given that the higher ups want to give some flexibilty to Elderly and non-computer literate on the SSN field as well, I've been asked to correct this problem.  Now, I've been steered in the direction of Leading Zeros script and AutoTab features, but to be honest, most of this is beyond my understanding in how to achive it. I understand the concept of leading 0's in the util.printd feature of the 999-99-9999 format, however, any attempt to do this stuff leads in undesired results.  Please help if you can.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Dean

    Thank you for replying Gkaiseril, not really sure what you're talking about with RegExp, hidden Fields and the like.  As I stated above, my skills with acrobat are limited and my knowledge of Java script is less than that.  Could you give examples or write out examples of what you're talking about?  I plan to learn more on Java, scripting and getting better at Acrobat, but for the mean time, I just need the scripting of how to get the Date field to do what I want it to do.
    As for the SSN, I'm aware of the 9 digit limit, this is why I'm wanting the script to fill in less-than-9-digit SSN's with leading Zeros.  We have had examples of the past of our clients and applicants with Exm 001-34-5678 not entering their 0's first and it confuses them as why their paperwork was'nt accepted or returned invalid.  Plus, our OCR system doesn't like the SSN field if its entered incorrectly.  This is why I was directed to look at leading 0's and something about a decimal point ...
    I haven't looked into the util.printd yet, in fact I know absolutely nothing about it except from what you told me.  No idea where to look for the things I want to accomplish.

    Here while parsing the data for contact2(with the request provided) by using the above procedure its going to exception.
    If the value is not there between the firstname then it should not go to the exception.
    If the firstname tag is not there it should go to the exception.
    But in the above procedure for the altcntfirstname and altcntlastname selectstatements its going to the exception part when there is no value for firstname(<FirstName></FirstName>).
    Is there any way to resolve this issue?
    Regards,

    Hi Odie,
    In the request more than one alternate contact used to come(that means contact1 is primary contact,contact2 is alternate contact1,contact3 is alternate contact2 etc).
    We are retrieving the RelatedObjectID and named as ROID in the for loop.
    That means in the for loop we are getting the RelatedObjectID,if that RelatedObjectID is equal to party id then that firstname we are checking by using the below select statement.
    suppose when we used as like below in the loop the same RelatedObjectID(contact2) is repeating every time.

    For this above code its not going to the exception.we are using this select statement to check whether that node existed or not.
    If that node exists and value is not there, that time we are updating the table with the null value by using the vAltCntFirstnamechkflag value as like below in our procedure.
    IF b.AltCntorgFST_NM IS NOT NULL THEN
    cAltCntpsnUpdateflag:='Y';
    vAltCntpsnupdatequery:=vAltCntpsnupdatequery||' FST_NM ='''||b.AltCntorgFST_NM||''''||',';

    END IF;
    Please find the below procedure what we are using could you please let me know is there any possibility to resolve this issue(if the tag like <firstname></firstname> that
    time also it should not go to the exception).

  • Password recovery and incorrect birthdate problems

    Hi, I recently tried to recover my password using the e-mail option but it never arrived.  Then tried the security question, the first one being birthdate and it always comes back saying wrong.  I do not know if it is because my original entry was incorrect as do not know how to check what I entered.  I notice quite a few people have had the same problem. Can anyone shed light on this please. Tx

    Apple ID security issues -
    Account security issues almost always require you to speak directly to an Apple representative to securely establish your identity as the account holder. You can set it up so that Apple calls you, either immediately or at a time convenient to you.
    1. Go to www.apple.com/support
    2. Choose Contact Support and click Contact Us
    3. Choose Other Apple ID Topics and choose the appropriate topic for your issue
    4. Follow the onscreen instructions

    The problem is that when I check "email authentication" to retrieve my password, they DON'T send me an e-mail. Also, when I check "Answer Security Questions" and I enter my birthdate (which is the same in all my e-mail ids), they tell me invalid birthdate. I have been trying this for a long time, there is no way I can retrive my password and a lot of my apps are linked with this id and because of  this issue, I'm not able to update them.

  • How to manage apple id for kids? I can not change the birthdate

    I can not add a birthdate in my kids apple ID, it does not allow me to enter it to 12 years, I need it to do it for IOS8 family.  How can I do it?

    Hi Guys,
    I have the same issue, and the answer above doesn't really help.
    I set up an iCloud account for my six year old daughter some time ago, for which I used my birthdate in order to be able to create the account. This has worked fine and still does.
    I now want to add my daughters account to the new family sharing feature of iOS8, which I want add as a child account. Unfortunately, due to the incorrect birthdate, the account has been added as an adult account.
    I have attempted to change the birthdate on my daughters account to the correct age, but this isn't allowed for some reason.
    I appreciate that I could set my daughter up with a new iCloud child account as detailed in the above post, however I want her to keep the same email address and for her to not lose the progress she has made in games like Clash of Clans.
    Is there a way I can convert my daughters account to a child account?
    Cheers
    Stu

    Dave, you should review the discussion on this thread:

    It looks like an issue related to how the phone handles daylight savings time.

  • Contact & Birthday Calendar Issue

    On my PC I use Microsoft Office to manage my contacts and then sync my contacts with my iPhone. On my PC in Microsoft Office most of my contacts have birthdates and all birthdates are correct here. However, on my iPhone if I open any contact from Contacts and check the birthdates, they are out by 1 day (1 day forward). If then I open my Calendar on my iPhone and go to the Birthday Calendar I find that birthdays are also out by 1 day (1 day back). E.g. on my pc, my birthday is 6 June 1973, which is correct, but on my iPhone under Contacts my birthday here is 7 June 1973 and in Calendar > Birthdays my birthday here is 5 June 1973.
    Environment
    - Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate 64
    - Microsoft Office 2010 (but had the same issue in Office 2007)
    - iTunes 10.1 (but had the same issue in the last few version of iTunes)
    - iPhone 3GS
    - iPhone Version 4.1 (but had the same issue in the last few versions)
    - Region Format is New Zealand
    - Calendar is Gregorian
    - Date & Time is 12 hr and its set to automatic
    Can we please sort this out Apple?
    If you need any further info, please let me know.

    Do you have Time Zone Support enabled with Outlook on your PC and on your iPhone? If so, do you need Time Zone Support enabled with either one? If you have Time Zone Support enabled on both, try disabling this on both first to see if this makes any difference.

  • Birthdates Prior to January 1, 1970.

    We recently installed Eloqua and I am just learning the system.  I am attempting to segment on birth date – specifically customers who have a birthdate between 04/21/1951 and 04/21/1980 (customers who are between 35 and 64 years of age).  I receive an error message when I validate the segment.  I have isolated the issue to the date of January 1, 1970 – any date prior to January 1, 1970 errors out.  But the segment works great with dates on or after January 1, 1970.  Any insights would be appreciated.

    You could write a function to manually calculate it yourself based on knowing the number of milliseconds in a second, the number of seconds in a minute, the number of minutes in a hour... and so on. So you could parse the date, and then go from there.
    No build in Java date function or class is going to help you though, I don't think.

  • New DVR Issues (First Run, Channel Switching, etc.)

    I've spent the last 30 minutes trying to find answers through the search with no luck, so sorry if I missed something.
    I recently switched to FIOS from RCN cable in New York.  I've gone through trying to setup my DVR and am running into issues and was hoping for some answers.
    1.  I setup two programs to record at 8PM, I was watching another channel at the time and only half paying attention.  Around 8:02 I noticed a message had popped up asking if I would like to switch channels to start recording.  I was expecting it to force it to switch like my old DVR, but in this case it didn't switch and I missed the first two minutes of one of the shows.  I typically leave my DVR on all day and just turn off the TV, this dual show handling will cause issues with that if I forget to turn off the DVR.  Is there a setting I can change that will force the DVR to choose one of the recording channels?
    2.  I setup all my recordings for "First Run" because I only want to see the new episodes.  One show I setup was The Daily Show on comedy central, which is shown weeknights at 11pm and repeated 3-4 times throughout the day.  My scheduled recordings is showing all these as planned recordings even though only the 11pm show is really "new".  Most of the shows I've setup are once a week so they aren't a problem, but this seems like it will quickly fill my DVR.  Any fixes?
    Thanks for the help.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    I came from RCN about a year ago.  Fios is different in several ways, not all of them desirable.  Here are several ways to get--and fix--unwanted recordings from a series recording setup.
    Some general principles.
    Saving changes.  When you originally create a series with options, or if you go back to edit the options for an existing series, You MUST save the Series Options changes.  Pretty much everywhere else in the user interface, when you change an option, the change takes effect immediately--but not in Series Options.  Look at the Series Options window.  Look at the far right side.  There is a vertical "Save" bar, which you must navigate to and click OK on to actually save your changes.  Exiting the Series Options window without having first saved your changes loses all your attempted changes--immediately.
    Default Series Options.  This is accessed  from [Menu]--DVR--Settings--Default Series Options.  This will bring up the series options that will automatically be applied to the creation of a NEW series. The options for every previously created series will not be affected by a subsequent modification of the Default Series Options.  You should set these options to the way you would like them to be for the majority of series recordings that you are likely to create.  Be sure to SAVE your changes.  This is what you will get when you select "Create Series Recording" from the Guide.  When creating a new series recording where you think that you may want options different from the default, select "Create Series with Options" instead.  Series Options can always be changed for any individual series set up later--but not for all series at once.
    Non-series recordings.  With Fios you have no directly available options for these.  With RCN and most other DVRs, you can change the start and end times for individual episodes, including individual episodes that are also in a series.  With Fios, your workarounds are to create a series with options for a single program, then delete the series later;  change the series options if the program is already in a series, then undo the changes you made to the series options later; or schedule recordings of the preceding and/or following shows as needed.
    And now, to the unwanted repeats.
    First, make sure your series options for the specific series in question--and not just the series default options--include "First Run Only".  If not, fix that and SAVE.  Then check you results by viewing the current options using the Series Manager app under the DVR menu.
    Second, and most annoying, the Guide can have repeat programs on your channel tagged as "New".  It happens.  Set the series option "Air Time" to "Selected Time".  To make this work correctly, you must have set up the original series recording after selecting the program in the Guide at the exact time of a first run showing (11pm, in your case), and not on a repeat entry in the Guide.  Then, even it The Daily Show is tagged as New for repeat showings, these will be ignored.
    Third, another channel may air reruns of the program in your series recording, and the first showing of a rerun episode on the other channel may be tagged as "New".  These can be ignored in your series if you set the series option "Channel" to "Selected Channel".  Related to this, if there is both an SD and HD channel broadcasting you series program, you will record them both if the series option "Duplicates" is set to "Yes".  However, when the Channel option is set to "Selected Channel", the Duplicates Option is always effectively "No", regardless of what shows up on the options screen.
    As for you missing two minutes,  I have sereral instances in which two programs start recording at the same time.  To the best of my recollection, whenever the warning message has appeared, ignoring it has not caused a loss of recording time.  You might have an older software version.  Newest is v.1.8.  Look at Menu--Settings--System Info.  Or, I might not have noticed the loss of minutes.  I regularly see up to a minute of previous programming at the start of a recording, or a few missing seconds at the beginning or end of a recording.  There are a lot of possibilities for that, but the DVR clock being incorrect is not one of them.  With RCN, the DVR clocks occasionally drifted off by as much as a minute and a half.
