HR Org Unit / Postion Report

How Do Everyone!
I am writing a HR report which will show personnel no.
and name. I also want to include the Position No/ Descr
and Org Unit no/descr.
Is there a function that will return the position and
org unit details passing only the pernr?
Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy,
go to the SE37, and test(F8) the RH_STRUC_GET F.M. in this way:
ACT_OTYPE                       P
ACT_OBJID                       <pernr>
ACT_WEGID                       P-S-O
ACT_INT_FLAG
ACT_PLVAR                       01
ACT_BEGDA                       <date>
ACT_ENDDA                       <date>
ACT_TDEPTH                          0
ACT_TFLAG                       X
ACT_VFLAG                       X
AUTHORITY_CHECK                 X
TEXT_BUFFER_FILL
BUFFER_MODE
In the RESULT_TAB table, you will get the Position ID and Org.ID. To find the text of its, just go to the T527X table.
Hope this help you,

  • Department / Org. unit Hierarchy report

    Hi Team,
I am trying to pull a department / org. unit hierarchy report that rolls-up, for example if I am an IT analyst, under Service mgmt, ultimately rolling up to IT (org. unit) similiar to PPOME view.

Let me know if there is something like this, that I can use.

  • Org Units without reporting relationship

    Hello Everyone,
Can anybody suggest if we can report all the org units which do not have any reporting relationship via adhoc queries ?
I am trying the same but not able to do so. The way I am trying: Evaluation path - A002 and restricting the output with program selection - relationship not equal to A-002.
Please help on this to proceed if we can do this in adhoc query.

  • Not able to view reports by users under top org unit- Interactive Reports

    HI,
We are using CRM interactive reports.
In my project the client is having 3 Sales Org with two sales office and two sales group for each office respectively.
When the document is created by the  sales Executiv, he and his manager is able to see it in the reports but the top person of that org unit is not able to see  the report.
Some say the report can be viewed by only employee responsible and his manager. In my project the core team is sitting in the top ORG unit. They want to see the reports of all the sales org units.
    With Regards,

  • Org Unit Change Report

    Hi,
I have an requirement, need to create report which specifies all the list of Org Units that are created and delimited during the given period.
The report has to display any changes for Org. Unit in HRP1000, HRP1001 and HRP1008.
Please suggest how to find out any changes occured for Org. Unit.
Standard report RHCDOC_DISPLAY needs to be used for Org unit change history report.

    You need to maintain the Settings for "CHANGE DOCUMENTS" in the Config;
    use this IMG Path :
    Personnel management -
    > Organization management -
    > Basic Settings -
    >Activate Change Documents
    Execute the link Activate Change Documents and maintain all the settings as below;
    Plan Version : 01
Object Type : S , O , (all the objects that you like to put )
    Infotype : 1001 / 1008
    Subtype : *
Active :  Tick the check Box.
    You need to create One line per Object type;
    Ex :
    01(Plan)                                   S (OTYPE)                         1001(ITYPE)                             *  (STYPE)                         Tick Mark (Active)
Hope this would give you clarity.

  • One organizational unit reports to two org unit

    Hi All,
I am new in HR, please help me to achieve the following:
We required that one organizational unit reports to two org unit .
    How can we achieve that??
    Thanks,
    Anumit

    Hi,
In SAP there is one-to-one relationship maintained in the system. In your case you want one org unit should report to 2 Org units, which is not possible as per my knowledge.
The relation betwn thm will be A-002 (Reports to), also if you try to maintain the same for both the Org units then it will ask to delete one of the relationship in the system.

  • Org Unit with more than one Chief Position

    Hi,
we have implemented MSS via the portal using a one-to-one relationship between Org Units and Chief Positions, and we would now like to have multiple Chief positions attached to one Org Unit.
As far as I can tell from the SAP documentation, this should be straightforward, but the results we are getting do not seem correct.
I have an Org Unit that has position 1 and position 2 assigned to it with relationship A/B 012 denoting that they are Chief Positions.
User 1 is holder of position 1 and user 2 is holder of position 2.
Both users have the same security roles.
The views used on the portal are configured using the MSS Object and Data Provider functionality, using the standard ORGEH view, evaluation path for root objects SAP_MANG and evaluation path objects SBES.  The checkbox 'Excl. Managers' is ticked.
The problem is this - both users can see all the subordinate employees in the Org Unit when they log on to MSS but user 1 can also see user 2 in his list of employees, which is not correct as user 1 and user 2 are both chiefs.  User 2 cannot see user 1 in his list of employees, which we would expect.
The only logic we can see for user 1 being able to see user 2's details is that user 1 must be somehow defined as the 'superior' Chief Position, but we have not defined this as far as we know.
Any ideas as to why this is happening for us?
    Many thanks,
    Fran.

    Hi Fran,
Sounds like you have set up the reporting structures and MSS properly.  I do question why two chiefs for one org unit.  As you stated, both can see all employees and so both can approve time, give pay increases, etc. without the approval of the other.  If this is want you want, then you have set it up properly.  Usually, one has to approve the actions of the other, thus, is in a superior relationship.  This can be handled by having a higher level new org unit with the higher person as chief and the lower stay as head of the lower org unit which reports to it.
As you have it now, both individuals have the same rights and access.  They should both be excluded from iViews if you checked the "Excl. Managers" box.  Since, you just recently made one a manager, have you checked for any date dependencies?  If the Chief #1 is selecting a view for "Current Year", for example, he would be able to see all persons who reported to him for this year, which includes Chief #2.  There are no 'superior chief' designations (except by structure), so without being able to view your configuration, my suggestion is to check all dates for the assignments and relationships vs. dates of the view.

  • Restrict employee postion to current based on Org Unit

    Hi,
We have recently implemented structural Authorization and I am now trying to create a query based on Org Unit.
The query is to show employee by position based on org unit. I have made org unit auth relevant and created a hierarchy variable as the restriction. In the row/columns I have included Org unit with hierarchy activated, position and employee. The KF is Actual time.
When I execute the report it is bringing leavers and people in old positions. To remove leavers I included a restriction on person to remove anyone in the position 99999999.
But this is still showing people in old postions. These positions have been end dated in the system and current positions have date 31/12/9999.
Does anyone know how I can restrict position to only show current positions?
    Thanks

    Hi,
as suggested i have made the query time dependant be selecting "key date" in the proerties, but this still brings in postions that have been end dated.
Is there a way to restrict postions by validity. The query is based on time management info cube
    thanks

I want ORG UNITS whose END DATE is within 2 years????
    I Will give you scenarios
If HRP1000 table has changed for some reasons'  and 5000(ORG UNIT) will create 2 records
    Ex: 5000  jan 1 2005 dec 31 2009
                    jan 1 2010 12/31/9999
This 5000 should't pick up as it has end date 12/31/9999 ok...
    EX: 5001         JAN 1 2006  OCT 1 2007
                           OCT 1 2007   MAY 5 2009
    Last record:    MAY 6 2009  Feb 6 2010
So this 5001 org unit should pick up as this last date is FEB 6 2010.

  • Org Unit reporting under OM

    Hello All,
I always get this request from most of my end users about running a report/creating an ad hoc query that will list the Employee details of the parent Org and subsequent child Orgs (O) untill the last one available. Everytime I put the Parent Org Unit no. in my input values and then select the (Reporting to or Incorporates) relationship, it returns with the PERNR details of the direct reports only. Where as I want the PERNRs and other details of these PERNRS for all employees who are in the child Orgs reporting to the Parent Org. (all IT0001 details) . I end up manually keying in the Org no. for all the child orgs in the report to get these details. This is cumbersome since few of our Org unit has at least 6 levels of reporting. Is there a easier way or standard report available to run these kind of queries ?
    Your help will be appreciated.

    Hi,
    Use t code s_ahr_61016533
    1. in object type give O (org Unit)
    2. Object ID = your parent Org Unit
    3. in structure parameters tab for EVALUATION PATH give O_S_P or O_S_P_O
    4. In PA reporting use RPLICO10
Execute it and you might get what you want.
    cheers

  • Webi report publication with org unit personalization mapping

    Hi everyone,
I have an HR Webi report whose source is a Bex query and is scheduled (published) weekly. The report is meant for managers so in the dynamic recipient report (another webi report) I have manager's name, email and org unit. Right now the bex query does not restrict by organizational unit, the filtering by unit is done in webi through the 0employee's org unit attribute. This works, each manager only sees data of her own employees.
However, managers would like to see not only their direct people (employees belonging to her own org unit) but also submanagers, ie, managers of subordinate org units. I tried filtering through the org unit of 0ORGUNIT, not the employee's o.unit attribute, but that doesn't work. The same manager shows up multiple times in the report.
Has anyone managed to publish a webi report (or Crystal if that's possible) that shows the chief hat's subhierarchy?
    thanks

    Hi Graham,
The publication should work in the same way for a user or a group.
Can you please elaborate on u201Cassigning a user to the groupu201D, I believe this is probably where you go wrong.
Please test same workflow I suggested yesterady, but instead of user, use the group:
    1. create the profile
    2. add the group to the profile
    3. assign the profile value to the group for that profile
    4. add the group to the publication as Recipient
Does it work or not?  If so, then do as follow for the user and group:
    1. create the profile
    2. Add user and group to the profile
    3. assign the profile value to the user and group for that profile
    4. add the user and group to the publication as Recipient
Please note that in the above steps, you donu2019t have to assign the user to the group.

  • How to extract an employee reporting hierarchy per org unit in spreadsheet

    Hi Guys,
Can any one advise if there's a standard report I can use to see employee's  reporting hierachy in spreadsheetformat ?
Report must have per org unit positions with their  related positions :'reports to' A002  relationship between two positions in a specific org unit and person's name/employee number occuping the positions.
I tried creating joint table but battling to undestand how I can have the two related positions info in the infoset.
Current standard report give me only positions with reports to relationship but haven't found report showing me positions with reports to relationship and their related position.

Have you tried using logical database PCH? That gives flexibility to create this kind of report. Create an infoset in SQ02 and an Adhoc Query in SQ01 based on PCH Logical Database. You will need the relationship subtype 'A002' and related object type 'P' on selection screen.
