getting bad request means your URI is not correct. try with
http://<hostname>:<port>/sap/opu/sdata/iwcnt/employee/EmployeeCollection
let me know if you get any specific error with above query.
how can I connect to the HR system with GW? Is that can be done by using GW?
it depends if you will be getting employee details from SAP HR system which is separate from SAP NW GW or part of it. ie. based on your deployment scenarios(http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw74/helpdata/en/3e/b1ea508f88bb7ee10000000a445394/content.htm ) and accordingly confuguration should be in place

MRP Area tables for MD06 information access like SQ01, DBM logical database

We currently use SQ01 DBM logical database to access MD06 information (tables MDKP and MDTB). The MRP results from the MRP Area are not showing in this query. This implies that the MRP area, MRP results are stored in other tables.
I have reviewed tables (MDLV, MDMA, MDLG, DVER, MDIP) from a similiar thread. However, they do not contain the MRP data (planned orders, stock, production orders ect) like in the DBM logical database.   This data access is very powerfull for exporting planning data for more robust analysis.

My problem is for the AR payments received from Customers, I am getting all the information I require from BSAD, except the actual payment received, which is not available in BSAD. I only get the Invoice amount which has been cleared and not the actual payment received from Customer.

Now to create datasource for fetching the above data I am trying to find the tables . All the data related to cheque is present in the table PAYR but from where can I get business partner number and business partner type .
Any clues ?

Problem with creating Edit page for employees , based on otn tutorial

Thank you for reading my post
I used one of oracle tutorial and create a jsf page which contain a for for departments
and a table for employeed ( I used visual and declarative development with oracle jdeveloper)
Now i want to add an edit page to my jsf project which allow me to edit an employee
to do this : I add a jsf page , I add editing form (the edit form work well , I mean which i change the data and press submit it change the data in database)
now the problem is that i want to link this two page
in a manner that when user select an employee from table and pressed edit button ,
it shows edit page with that employee as "under edit" employee

Basically you create a JSF Page Navigation diagram and drag on you customerList page and your Edit Customer page. Add an "arrow" to link the two pages and name this arrow EDIT.
Then drop a button onto the CustomerList page and the ACTION property will not have a drop down list and you select EDIT (which is the name of the arrow you created).

Try in the table 'CND_MAPC_CNV_TAB' to see the relationship between R/3 tables and CRM tables
In R/3 KONM table stores the scale quanties and amounts for condition records.

Table for BP Role Employee

Hi Experts,
Through tcode BP, it is possible to extend the BP number to a few BP roles.
I have extended the BP to role "Employee".
There is a section for Employee Data on Identification tab.
Here, I am able to assign User ID (from SU01) to BP.
However, I am not able to search for the table that stores the information.
The only available info is the structure from the screen, BUS000EMPL-USERNAME.
Please assist, Experts.

Hi Members
I have a internal table where employee name and employee group are maintained.
Next, i have other tables where employee name is there and his salary. now I want to add all the salaries of the employees with same groups, how can I do this.
for Example, I have employee group as ENG, DOC, NUR Etc. (Also I wanted to use some kind of dynamic conditions as emplyee groups might added latter in custom table.

I want to know is there any table which gives information about all Cubes, for which DB and BW statistics and DB indexes are maintained (and with green light).
