Return delivery transportation charges through VT01N

I want to capture return delivery transportation charges through transportation model. Can anyone tell me the process step by step.

    hi,
                i have a standard scenario in which i want to do return delivery to vendor through notification action box.
    for this, I have maintained all required setting as follows
    in notification f2, activity Create Return Delivery is maintained with QMLR_CREATE_RETURN_ORDER
    but still i am getting following error
    Could not create return delivery
    Message no. QM153
    Diagnosis
    The return delivery for purchase order 7101000698 could not be created. There may be an incorrect system setting.
    Procedure
    Check the following system settings:
    For movement types that you use for return delivery with reference to the original purchase document (return delivery to vendor), the reversal of GR despite invoice for GR-based invoice verification must be allowed.
    You partner profile RLL (return delivery to vendor) should be assigned to delivery types RL (return to vendor) and RLL (return delivery to vendor) at partner determination.
    Since the receiving plant becomes the sending plant for returns to vendor, you must assign a sales area (sales organization, distribution channel and division) to this plant.
    You must set the shipping point determination for the appropriate shipping condition, loading group and plant.
    You must maintain the sales and distribution data for the material to be returned.
    For this item, no delivery type for returns processing
    In the creditor master, the creditor must be assigned a customer in account control.

    No offense, but you, (personally), did check each and every one of those error possibilities suggested by the error message right?
    When I get messages like that I rarely trust my other team members when they tell me "oh yeah.. That's set up", or " of course, we loaded those records long ago".  Often times it just a miss understanding of what we are asking them to check.  Often times I'll ask them if they can sit down with me for 5 minutes and "teach me" where that thing is and what it really does. Then I can see for myself it is really set up and often I'll learn something.  I can't tell you how often I've heard "gee, I was sure we had set that up" or "hmmm. That must be new since we loaded and we didn't have if in the load.". LOL

  • Vendor Return delivery Cancellation

    Dear Guruu2019s,
    I have one problem regarding return delivery (122) cancellation.
    One of our QA guy wrongly posted return delivery to vendor through QA11u2026
    Now how to reverse it, Before QM module we had reversing through MBST codes..
    After QM module system is not allowing to do cancellation of return delivery (122) document from
    MBST.
    Waiting for ur replies.

    1) Create own report program refer to source code which is attached in SAP note 175842.
    (The object name is 'RQEVAC50'.)
    2) Assign the transaction 'QA11' as allowed transaction into movement type '123' at transaction OMJJ.
    (This is configuration.)
    3) Execute above program and input the inspection lot number then execute.
    (Stock which was transferred from QI to other will be reversed to QI stock again.)
    4) Post stock again at transaction QA11 or QA12.

  • VT01N not pickup of sale returns delivery

    Hi,
    My scenario is, Material return from customer and pay the freight charges to transporter Vendor for returning the material.
    I am doing the process, Return Sale order (RE) – Return Delivery (LR) – PGR - Shipment – Billing. I am able to do the sale order, delivery and PGR. When creating the shipment (VT01N) but return delivery is unable to pickup in Shipment (VT01N).
    Please suggest, what is setting to be check for pickup the return delivery in VT01N.

  • Vendor Return Delivery through Quality Notification.

    Hi Experts,
    I m doing vendor return delivery through quality notification with action box , after giving PO NO. & Material document no we are getting the  following error
    1) Could not create return delivery
    2) Deficit of PU IR quantity 2.000 EA
    For the GR based IV reversal after IR tick is not active.
    Kindly suggest possible reason for the same

    There is deficit of Quantity i.e the quantity lying in stock is less than 2. and secondly for GR based invoice verification the IR tick should be there in PO in Invoice tab.

  • Freight charges on return delivery

    Hi,
    How freight chargers are reversed while doing 161 mvt type.
    Is there any separate mvt required to return freight charge.
    How do we handle this plz clarify me....

    thanks for your replies. Sorry for the delay in getting back on this issue. Our users want to see the freight charges on a separate cost component line in the CK11N. So I created a cost component for Freight. However, I do not know how to get the value into this Freight cost component line. When I tried to add the freight charges through CK74N, they are going into overhead as I was using overhead cost element in CK74N. Users do not want this as the overhead costs are inflated because of the freight addition to the overhead. Any ideas how to get the freight charges only into the cost component?

  • Return delivery for stock transport oder

    I need better clarity on the following Return delivery process for STO.
    Step 1)Creation of intra company stock transport order with document type UB.
    Step 2)Goods issue from the Supplying plant (Movement type 641)
    Step 3)Goods receipt at the Receiving plant( Movement type 101-To quality inspection stock )
    Step 4)Posting return delivery at Receiving plant. (Movement type 122)
    On performing step 4) , the stock quantity and value are getting reduced at the Receiving plant, but the stock updating does not happen in the Supplying plant automatically. (i.e. Goods Receipts )
    Do we need to perform any other movements ( Goods receipts ) in the supplying plant so that the Returned stock will be updated with the return delivered quantity ?
    Please clarify.

    Thanks for your feedback.
    It worked well. On posting 122 , the stock was posted to "stock in Transit" of Receiving plant.
    When I reversed the goods movement by VL09, the stock was posted back to stock of supplying plant. ( Movement type 642 posted )

    I have configured Partner functional of vendor in sales order but how to post the transportation charges to that particular vendor Account ?

    Hi,
    In SAP you cannot do any postings either to customer or vendor. Customer postings happen only while creating billing documents in VF01.
    As far as vendor postings are concerned, The postings happen in MIRO transaction.
    The scenario you have mantioned is not possible the way you want it.
    But if you use transportation in Logistics execution, then actual freight charges can be posted to vendor account after shipping cost document T.Code: VI01 is posted.

    We have had the same problem way back in 2003. But SAP has suggested to post a manual JV entry through J1IH or through J1IS. I dont remember which one of the above 2 transactions we have used.
    Also have a look at the SAP notes.

  • Error Message during posting return delivery against materil document

    Dear experts
    I have created a purchase order with batch specific unit of measure KAI.
    I created the inbound  delivery document (say for eg: 30,000 KG)
    I have taken GRN for the above IBD through MIGO transaction with 101 movement for all 30,000 KG.
    Later i have posted the return delivery 122 movement with reference to above 101 material document. 30,000 KG
    After this i realized that i need cancel the 101 movement document.
    So cancelled the 122 movement document, and try to cancell the 101 material document.
    Then system is issuing error message VLA 321 "Movement type 102 cannot be used here".
    Also if i again want to post return delivery to send the stock back, then also i have error message. but this time it is VLA 319
    "Return delivery qty greater than previously GR-posted qty:"
    My Support package for SAP_APPL, relese 600 is SAPKH60019.
    Please suggest me solution to fix these errors as these are not relavant for the situation.

  • Issue with Return Delivery for movement type 262

    Hi,
    I have got a strange issue, the user is trying to do a MIGO Return Delivery for a material document using movement type 262, this he claims has been doing it for many materials. However when i go to the MKPF table i see the transaction Code field to be MIGO_GI for all the material documents for which he claims to have done return delivery. But under this transaction code we have only 4 options - Display, Issue, Cancel and Remove from storage.
    Now when he tries to do the return delivery for movement type 262 he get an error message "Check table T156N: entry RL 262  does not exist" , but this has been very well maintained in the table.
    Can you please let me know -
    If it is possible to do a return delivery for a movement type 262?
    If yes how to address the above error encountered.

    Hi Sachin,
    If you think of return delivery to vendor with or w/o PO reference you can use movement types 161, 122, 124 as default settings.
    Movement type 261 means withdrawal against production order and its reverse is MVT 262. The latter can be used e.g. via MB1A (or you can make storno of a confirmation by 261).
    Are you sure your user is using the correct terminology ('return delivery')? Please check the material documents he/she claims to have booked as return delivery. (in MB51 you can get a list of all material movements of MVT 261 that belong to 'your user' and after that you can open the material document and check through which transaction the booking was made.)

  • Return delivery error while displaying the confirmation in EBP

    Hi All,
    I face an error in EBP when I try to return delivery after confirmation of PO. Just to explain you all in detail-
    I created a shopping cart, ordered it and then confirmed it using Create Confirmation. Now when i try to make <b>Return Delivery</b>, it gives me an error saying, No return delivery can be entered for confirmation, followed by another error- Interface data contains errors.
    Pls help!!!!!!!!!!

    As per your suggestion, I tried to do a return delivery through backend with PO quantity same as delivered quantity. I am able to do a return delivery successfully. So the error seem to be in EBP,, is it?
    While debugging BBPCF02, I noticed that it calls a function module -
    BBP_CF_ASSIGNMENT_BACKEND.
    In this function module, it calls a routine tolerance_check_backend which checks for the below code
    lv_open_tol_quan = is_tol_check-quantity
    ( 1 + is_tol_check-overdel_tol / 100 )
                         - is_tol_check-deliv_qty.
    If this field lv_open_tol_quan is 0, it throws the error.
    Now in backend, where the purchase order gets created, i checked for over delivery tol,,its 0.
    so if both the qtys are same, I will alwz get the same error.
    Can you please help me to understand this???

  • Return Delivery with a Credit  Memo Request.

    Hello Gurus. I have been working on this issue for quite some time. I will explain the process that was provided by our installers. It doesn't seem to be adding up. Here is the situation, Product that was sent incorrectly was returned. According to our procedures, we create a returns delivery thru VA01, with RE (returns) as the Order Type. We then create it with REFERENCE to the Invoice Number. We remove the items not being returned, enter the Billing Block and Order Reason. Then Save. It gives us a returns delivery number of 6000000, We then return the product back to our stock through MB1B. We clear it and put it back as normal. We then Create a Credit Memo Request through VA01, order type is CR (Credit Memo Request) Create with Reference, we again select the invoice number, delete the items not being returned, enter billing reason, then save. It gives us a number of 60000001. At this point, we enter VF01 and create a billing document. It says the order has billing blocks. We go back in and remove the blocks. We hit save. It now seems to ok, except that, under document flow, under the first delivery 6000000, it shows still being processed (the goods returns shows complete, but the line above shows being processed), and the document flow for 60000001 shows the invoice and the Accounting document as Not Cleared. My question is, should there be 2 seperate orders? A returns delivery and credit memo Request should be under the one delivery number 6000000 according to our procedures? Those were the steps given. Something seems out of place. Are my steps out of order?  Are the procedures wrong?  If anybody has any insight, I would much appreciate it.

    I would start fresh with a new sales order.  When you create with reference both the return delivery and credit memo are created with reference to the return sales order.  Here is an example document flow to clarify:

    I am doing MIGO Return Delivery to Vendor. I am getting the following Error. Pls help its urgent issue.
    I have checked the stock level. The stock is sufficient for doing return delivery.
    "Deficit of BA Unrestricted-use 1,575 MT : 20461615 2100 2131 MARCH2012"

      Can you tell me the stocks are  available in unrestricted use or any other use like blocked  (or) quality inspection  . check it once.
    if the stocks are available in quality inspection first transfer the stock from quality inspection to unrestricted through t.code qa32
    Then  try to do the return to the vendor through migo

  • Problem with pgi for returns delivery

    Hi,
    I'm trying to do PGI for returns delivery through BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE.
    The when the delivery is opened through VL02N, the Post Goods Issue button has Post Goods Receipt text written on it. When the GI is done, the material document has movement type 651.
    However I'm not able to create the same through the BAPI. I have tried various combinations of GM_CODE and all other variables. Have anybody of you tried doing movement type 651 for a returns delivery using the same BAPI?
    Please reply if you've come across some similar situation. I know how to use the BAPI,  I've been using it successfully for other movement codes etc. It's only in this case that I'm stuck up.

    Developed a custom program for creating and updating Goods Movement Document by using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE & WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE_2.
