I have really strong internet connection, but it takes 5+ hours to download one app??
I have paid for creative cloud the other day. I then went to download photoshop and it took over 7 hours to download. Now I am trying to download Illustrator, and its been an hour and only have 2%. I have very strong and fast wifi. So I do not understand why it's taking so long. Especially since I hear everyone else talk about how theirs downloaded within 5 minutes.
What you donwloaded was the OS installer. You still have to do the installation.
To get started, double click on the download, then double click again and follow instructions. -

I am experiencing wireless connection problem on 4s after ios 8.1 upgrade. The wireless icon appears showing that it's connected but webpages do not load. I have checked my internet connection with other devices and seems to be alright. what to do?
I have tried reseting the network settings and forgetting my wireless connection and re-connecting to it. I even backed up my phone on itunes and restored it, factory reseted it. Nothing seems to work.
Also after my upgrade to ios 8.1 my personal hotspot option under cellular data has disappeared.

Why is it taking so long to download film rentals from Itunes ,before it took 20 mins when I have a good internet connection.
If you have anti virus software installed, disable that.
Turn off the Firewall in System Preferences > Security & Privacy
Check your internet speeds just in case > Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test
Try not using other applications that require downloading files while downloading media from iTunes. -

Do you mean to say you already have a wireless network setup and thought by buying the Airport Express you just could use it for wireless music alone?
The Airport Express is chiefly a wireless router first, with the wireless music and printing as extra's.
It can be used for streaming music alone, but I think it needs to talk to network time servers and thus it gets screwed up over time not being on the internet. Also by your using your computers wifi for music streaming, no internet with your other router.
So it's a all Airport Express or back to a stereo mini cable. -

How do I download firefox when I do not have an existing internet connection?
My internet connection is corrupted and will not function properly. I was advised by my router's tech support that I needed to download the browser again, or download any browser of my choosing. I would like to download firefox - but do not have a working internet connection. I was advised that I might be able to download it to a disc or jump drive from a working internet connection and download it to my laptop where the connection is corrupted. Please advised if this is an option, and the procedure to follow to implement this process.

On the XP computer that you posted with you have an outdated Firefox 3.0.19 version that is no longer supported and not recommended for usage as it has a lot of security vulnerabilities.
You can save the Firefox 3.6.12 setup file to your desktop and copy the file to an USB stick.<br />
Plug that stick in the other computer and copy the file to your desktop.<br />
You then can install Firefox on that computer with a double-click on that desktop icon. -
i bought elements 13 and downloaded it , but when asked to sign into my adobe account as requested at initial set up of elements 13 , I know my correct password etc and i have a good internet connection But nothing happens even if i wait an hour or so. Any help would be appreciated.

Go to following location:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Adobe
for MAC
Finder> Go > Go to Folder
\Library\Applicaiton Support\Adobe
~\Library\Applicaiton Support\Adobe
Locate folder OOBE and rename it OOBE.old
Download and install�
Adobe - Adobe Application Manager : For Windows : Adobe Application Manager
Adobe - Adobe Application Manager : For Macintosh : Adobe Application Manager
After the installation
Try to Open Adobe Application Manager / Creative Cloud App.
Log in that with Adobe ID and Password.
If it does not work first try couple of times more.
Let me know if this resolves the issue.

So my guess is that there is some issue (i.e. undocumented filtering) between the wifi and the ethernet interfaces. I have reviewed the HG8245 configuration but I haven't found how to solve this. Can someone help me please ? I was using itunes (downloading albums etc) just half an hour ago. I had a pop up asking me if i'd like to download the latest version of itunes, which i accepted. When the update had finshed downloading, i then restarted my computer, as i usually would. Tried to re access the itunes store, and received the following error message: 'Cant connect to the itunes store. An unknown error occurred (-3212) please check you have an active internet connection and try again.
Needless to say, i have an active internet connection and cant see any reason why this would be happening, it has never happened before ?

The first thing to check would be your internet download speed, you can do this atwww.speedtest.net.
1080p HD movies require a recommended speed of 8 Mbps, 720p HD movies require a recommended speed of 6 Mbps, while SD movies require a recommended speed of 2.5 Mbps. -
I can't connect to the itunes store from my Windows Vista PC. I have run diagnostics and itunes have verified my internet connection as positive, but not the secure link to the itunes store. This comes up as failed. Any suggestions?

As long as you aren't using the Cloud for audio file storage, yes it will. I believe that it may occasionally need to "phone home" to check your credentials if you are using a CC version but only about once a month. It should warn you though I think but providing you have been using it at home in the days before you are away from the internet it should be OK.

With in the past two weeks, if I leave the laptop to do something else, when I return to the laptop and go to check my E-Mail etc. I lost my internet connection. I check and says I have an excellent wireless connection but I am forced to re-boot and then I'm back on. "WHY"
What kind of documents? Office? iWork? Text Edit? What version?
What settings do you have in regards to power saver and/or screen saver?
For these kinds of system glitches I always recommend installing and running Onyx 'Automation'. If that does not work you should reinstall the offending software, if possible.
