ITunes does not recognize devices
I just upgraded to the new iTunes and now it won't recognize any of my devices. Whenever I try to go into the preferences area, it freezes up. I have deleted and reinstalled iTunes with the same result, also happens with new Windows XP login account.
I am having the same issue and already went through the community to try and find a solution with no joy. I have even tried putting my iPhone 5 in DFU mode and recovery mode and still had no joy.
Hopefully someone might come up with a solution and post it as I have had great help here in the past.
Thank you. -
Itunes does not recognize my iphone 4 device
I bought a new computer, tried to install itunes, after three different people tried to help me, i finally got itunes to install, but when I plug my iphone into my computer, itunes does not recognize the device. I am trying to 1. upgrade my iphone soft ware to 10.5.3, utilize icloud, and perform basic functions of syncing my phone with my computer. Any help, anyone could provide would be appreciated.
Tank you,
RoseIf your iTunes is the latest version, restart your computer and reboot your iPhone. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the iPhone restart. See if that fixes your problem.

ITunes does not recognize ipad when connected
When I connect my iPad to the computer, iTunes does not recognize the iPad. I have had the iPad for several months now and have not had the issue. I checked the cable with the charger and that works fine. Went through what Apple suggested to no avail. Any ideas?
Did you try the steps contained in the attached link? http://www.apple.com/support/ipad/assistant/itunes/

Itunes does not recognize any of my devices
I connect my iPhone or iPad(s) and Itunes does not recognize they are there. I have Itunes latest version. My last backup I was able to do was back in January. I tried to delete and reload itunes and that does not help. My computer recognizes my devices are connected and I can back up my photots. Just Itunes fails to recognize they are connected. ALL my devices have the latest software.

My computer is repared and has a new hard disk.

iphone 4 is not recognized by itunes and is only on emergency mode, keeps telling me to connect to itunes but when I connect iphone to computer it does not recognize it
Did you try recovery mode? Hold down the home button as you connect it to iTunes. iTunes should pop up a window that says "iTunes has detected a device in recovery mode" and give you the option to restore.

when I connect my iPhone, iPhoto opens and the phone begins charging but iTunes does not recognize it and I cannot sync. Any advice?
Howdy AndieKanaras,
It sounds like your iPhone is being recognized everywhere but in iTunes. I would use the troubleshooting for that issue in the following article, named:
If you don't see your connected device in iTunes for Mac
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
All the very best,
