I am trying to purchase the world pass for scribblenauts and it isjust spinning and I have been billed for it?.....has anyone else had this problem?.....is there something I need to do?

Does anyone else know the password to your AppleID?  if you suspect your account has been compromised, then go and change your password at  https://appleid.apple.com in the manage section

    me too, some game tokens or coins or something,  we didn't use.  i changed our account info almost the moment it happened and they disabled my id..its been 10 days now.  still can't get anything..even free stuff.  paypal reversed it but guess apple figures they'll punish me for not paying for something i didn't use?  round and round on the website or talk to a machine.  how did apple rate so high in customer service?  I've got 10 emails saying thanks for changing  your password but I'm still locked out.

  • I have to pay for something that was not my fault, nor Verizon's fault, but is an act of God/nature.  Why is that?

    As I stated above, "I have to pay for something that was not my fault, nor Verizon's fault, but is an act of God/nature.  Why is that?"  I had a hard time keeping my phone charged at one time, so I called/visited my local retailer of Verizon, and they ordered me a new battery (first step after cleaning my phone. Not like it was dirty anyways). Got a new battery, put it in, still same problem.  Would not charge...boo! So, I bring it back, and they order me a replacement phone, since it "is still under warranty, and insured".  When I first brought my phone in, the young lady said, "That is why it is not charging; it was the charger port, that is why it was not charging. It is as loose as a goose" So, that is why she ordered me a new one. 
         So, get the new phone, put "new battery" back in.  All is good, all of what, 2 maybe 3 weeks later.  Now it is doing the same thing again. Checked the charging port, it is fine.  Bring it in, to the store, and questioned the young man behind the desk, and find out why I was charged the $299.95(+taxes & s/h). He said, "it was because the old phone was because there was "corrosion" around the port."  Of course, there was not a single note of it being loose.  He continued, and said it was because it was there had to be a time where you spilled something on it, even if it was a drop of any kind of liquid. Or, you/ or someone else, had it in the shower with them."  (Really, a drop of liquid, or taking the phone with me in the shower?)  How I could I get a "drop" of liquid in it, if I had an Otter-box on it, or why would I take it in the shower with me?  I admit, I am not the sharpest tool in the shed, but, really? Come on now!
         Since, I have to now pay for it, I am kind ‘a wondering if anyone else has, or had the same problem with their phone (s).  My wife has the same phone and she has not had this same problem.  Makes me wonder.  Since, my phone is doing this again, if it is something that I am doing wrong with it or not.  So, now they have ordered me a new battery, and we will see if this will be a new fix, or "good bye to Verizon."  Any comments, or suggestions, please email wife and me, and let me know.     Regardless, are you saying Verizon should have to pay for those, though?

  • HT201303 Billing gone Wild!  As of now I have been billed for $200+ for apps from Gameloft that I did not authorize. What in the blazes is going on? Why is it seemingly impossible to contact "Gameloft"?

    I have been billed in excess of $200 for apps from the company 'Gameloft'. I authorized the purchase of a 99 cent game for my son (Six Guns) and it just escalated from there. The purchases continued on through the night, even though no one was on-line. Thankfully I caught the charges in my morning email.  I have tried unsuccessfully to contact Gameloft for the last hour. They literally provide no direct support information on their website for this kind of issue. 
    Likely I will only be able to resolve this with my credit card company as we will fight it when the charges are posted. What an unbelieveably slimy experience this is so far.  Anybody have any insight out there?

    Chargebacks dont' disable your account permanently... you can always contact iTS and after verification it will be re-enabled.
    I guess, if you don't get back to iTS then yes, it could sit permanently in that state..

    I have been billed some USD 5,000 worth of credit card bill. It was by itune app's. Most are because of my son's games, which I was thought it was $.99 a piece, but before I know it, I have chalked up thousands of dollar in credit card. I cannot believe it.
    I have a very different understanding of what update means. I thought update was free, because I already pay for the original app. It turns out the update is sometimes $10.00, without me knowing. I also found out app that I have already deleted still charge me by the monthly basis.
    This is getting out of hand. I have to make a report but I did not know how. I felt I was sucked into a hole by iPad. iPad is a good device, but this model has been absued. Consumers should not be punished by all these merchants.
