HT4060 Charging behavior for iPad 4

When my battery is low on my iPad 4, I'll power it off and then connect it to the charger. Once connected to the charger, the apple logo will appear and the iPad powers back up. Is this normal behavior?

Check the power specs. the iPad charger is a 10W charger, I think the iPhone one is only 5W. Technically it will charge the iPad but it will take longer.

Charged twice for iPad?

I bought an iPad yesterday, but when I checked my bank account online it shows 2 charges from Apple that are the cost of the iPad. Except they are both about $3 apart. Why did I get charged twice for my iPad? Please help. This is a huge problem for me.

My credit card # wasn't stolen because the charges were made on the same date. Also I used 3 Apple Store gift cards to pay for some of the cost, but the remainder I had to pay was about $400.
One of the charges says it from the Apple store, then the other says Check Card Balance Apple Store or something. So I thought they were charging it twice for extra security then take back the 2nd one, but that can't be because they're both $3 apart.

Battery drains even with ipad 2 powered off. And batterys since i use IO7 drains a lot faster even in airplane mode etc,etc.
What can you tell me?

HT4060 My first generation Ipad won't allow me to charge it by the mains socket. This was a replacement as my origional Ipad had a software problem. I have rebooted it a number of times but still not charging. Any advice?

My Ipad 3G has decided not to charge. I have been using the same charger that came with it which worked perfectly until a few days ago. yes, but I'm trying to use my iPad to type notes (using pages) and I have the smart case which I use as a stand. I need a cable long enough to fit through the back of my desk and the charging brick for the iPad won't fit behind the desk. I have to put it on the floor and then the apple cables aren't long enough to reach.

HT4060 Bought a new ipad and now its down to 28% so I am trying to charge it by the plug in but instead of going up its going down in %

Trying to figure out how to charge my new ipad wi-fi cellar. I plugged it in but instead of going up in % is still going down and its now showing me that its charging like a cell phone does. When I started to charge it, it was 28% now its 27%. Its plugged into a wall.

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night.
