HT4623 I have the latest iTunes software on my iMac mini and now have IOS7 on my iPhone and now I cant sync music from my library either by wifi or by usb?
I have the latest iTunes software on my iMac mini and now have IOS7 on my iPhone and now I cant sync music from my library either by wifi or by usb? I get song lists that scoll at a million miles an hour but no actual content. What should I do to get my music onto my iphone.
Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.

I own toshiba laptops. Both computers have the latest itunes software. However the 'show menu' does not appear on the screen?
Thanks for the response diesel. I dont think I clarified my question very well. I'm trying to do home sharing between mine and my wifes computers. The intructions say:
Log in as the same user on each computer.
Ensure both are current version.
Choose the correct list in sharing ie Music
Then in the 'show menu' at the bottom of the screen, choose items not in my library.
I do not have the show menu to select any songs.
Any help appreciated.

I previously installed my Ipod Nano 7th generation in Itunes, Windows 8.1. When I have recently connected, Itunes does not recognize it. I removed and reinstalled the latest Itunes software, but no success. Message says that Itunes sees an Ipod is connected, but does not recognize it. The USB connection is working fine, as I recharged the Ipod without problem.
Hello Lynn,

I just purchased a 120gb iPod classic 6th generation from a friend. I have the latest iTunes installed and the software on the iPod is also current. My problem is whenever I'm syncing the iPod and iTunes freezes between the 250- 300th song... I have to manually reset the iPod for the iTunes to run correctly, but then my music isn't added and iTunes tells me I have to restore the iPod... I've done this numerous times only to no avail... Someone please help!!!

Just installed the latest iTunes software update (iOS 5.0.1) on my MacBook Pro, and the extra images i had placed on my album covers in the selected item box have disappeared, leaving just one image per track. Any ideas on how to restore would be most appreciated...
Installing an iTunes update does not remove your media or personal files.
Are the files actually missing off the computer, if so, you have a serious computer issue... not a software update issue.
Regardless, use the backup of your media and other important files to put everything back. You do have a backup, correct? -
I have recently updated my iphone to 7.0.2, and i have also downloaded the latest itunes software but everytime i try to sync now, it tellms me to download th latest itunes software. What do i do?
Hi Azeem25,
Welcome to the Support Communities!
What version of Windows do you have on your computer?
You may need to update Windows first, and then try the download from the link below.

I have the latest iTunes but am unable to update my phone or my ipad 2 I have been in to the shop and they said I need to download a different type of iTunes for wifi I have a desk top with windows vista and wifi can you please help
We'll need more information before anyone can be of much help. What model iPhone is it, what versions of iOS are running on the iPad 2 now, what exactly are you trying to update, and what version of iTunes are you running? And what exactly is going wrong (include error messages if any).
Once we have that information, someone here can probably offer advice. Note that you cannot sync content or upgrade iOS wirelessly until you get your iPhone and iPad up to iOS 5 and that requires that you connect those devices to your computer via the Dock-USB cable.

I cant get my ipad 2 out of recovery. The apple icon stays on and nothing happens. I tried restoring it through Itunes but it comes up with a 3194 error code. I have the latest Itunes being 10.6.1.7 and the latest windows update. Can someone please help?
Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times. -
The latest iTunes software 12.1.2 won't download.
Is anyone have any issues with downloading the latest iTunes software 12.1.2?
Update to my post @ Apr 27, 2015 7:35 AM - so I tried one more time and I got it to download and install... sort of.
This time I entered my email address (having left it empty on previous attempts since I didn't want to subscribe to Apple's news and updates). Using Firefox, I got a save to disk dialog (with no ensuing file save dialog to ask where I wanted it to go) and found it in Downloads folder but the file was not "resolved" to a .dmg file (file names: h+TLuS2Q.dmg.part and Eggbizqw.dmg.part - I tried twice - both weighing in at 215.4 MB). On changing the filename extension to .dmg, I got it to open and was able to install... what fun! -

I have now opened an itunes account on my PC.
What is meant by this? Was iTunes simply installed and then signed in with the existing Apple ID or was a new Apple ID created?
If the former, simply transfer purchases from the device by selecting File > Transfer Purchases with the device connected. Or re-download them from iTunes as described in the article from which the question was posted.
If a new Apple ID was created, sign out of it and stop using it. Sign in with the same Apple ID that the content was purchased with. -
My Ipad 2 will no longer synch with ITunes after I updated to the latest ITunes software. It says error OxE8000065. Does not recognize this IPod.I have rebooted both Ipad and PC and uninstalled /reinstalled Itunes software. Same problem.

A web search for OxE8000065 finds an Apple help page, <http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3221>.

HT1386 I have the wrong iTunes software on my computer. How do I fix it?
The iTunes software I have on my computer is not the right software. It does not have a tab for apps, books, etc. how can I change this?
If you have the latest iTunes 11.0.1, go to iTunes menu > View > Show Sidebar and it will look similar to iTunes 10.x version.
