its not frozen this is as far as the screen goes. if you plug it in it will say it recognizes a device in recovery mode you most restore before it can be use in itunes again

I'm trying to download itunes, but after clicking download it just takes me to a screen that says thanks for downloading itunes, but nothing has downloaded, any ideas what I can try?

I had it before but had to reinstall windows due to a software glitch. But now I'm up and running again, so I went to downlaod Itunes, only to find it wont run and download at all it skips straight from download now to thanks for downloading in practically 2 seconds and nothings downloaded. Its really fustrating and I have no idea why this is the case or what I can do to get it to download, please help. I have never had a problem downloading it in the past. I use windows 7, with google chorome and IE 10, tried it on both to no avail.

Hi I had a simular problem with my iPhone 4 and iPad 3 and found that the USB connection on the computer was at fault so I moved the connection to a USB port on the Mother board.This curred my problem,see if ti works for you.

I plugged my iphone in to do an update and it was mid way through the update when the phone was accidentally disconnected. Now the phone is stuck on the screen that shows a cable and the iTunes image suggesting the phone needs to be plugged in to iTunes. Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
