I received a message about a free Icloud storage update but when I upgraded it says my card will be charged.
How can I get the free upgrade???

Ex-MobileMe subscribers had free extra storage until 30 September this year, at which point it will expire and the storage reduce to the free 5GB unless extra storage is purchased.
If you have purchased extra storage this has over-ridden the free storage, which will have been terminated at that point and the purchased extra storage replacing it, with a renewal date a year from the time you purchased it.

My question is, when Adobe Forms ends on July 28th will Adobe Acrobat XI Pro be able to create forms or will it now? and if not, then why is adobe advertising for it still?

What you're calling "Adobe Forms" is really Adobe FormsCentral. The FormsCentral service is indeed going away soon, but you can always create PDF forms (AcroForms) with Acrobat. Acrobat also comes with a desktop version of the FormsCentral desiger, which can be used to create simple PDF forms that can be used apart from the FormsCentral service. So you'll no longer be able to create and host web forms with the FormsCentral service or use PDF forms with the FormsCentral service. You will be able to create standalone PDF forms with Acrobat and simple PDF forms with the FormsCentral desktop app.

You can't, directly on your phone. This is not supported on the iPhone. You need to get the song into your iTunes library, then sync it to your phone.

So if a download is in progress and so forth when the phone goes dormant, it will switch to use cellular data, if this setting is left on. Therefore, from multi-sources I have learned that if you keep your iPhone connected to a power source, then it will stay connected to the available WiFi.

Make sure the pdf has the '.pdf' extension on the file name. I've seen this a few times and adding the extension usually solves the problem.

Beware this is a common phishing scam: you get an authentic-looking email saying your account has been charged - usually a significant amount of money, to get your attention - and "click here" to confirm. Don't do that.
Check your purchase history as King_Penguin wrote. If the purchase does not appear, delete the email and forget about it.

Received an email from Xfinity "rewarding" us with a fee-free upgrade to X1. I have now spoken to several Xfinity call center staff who cannot answer what additional costs that we will incur on our bill each month. Having been a Comcast customer for about 15 years, we do receive certain discounts to retain our business, and it appears that this "free" upgrade will likely cost me $30-40 more per month. Is this the "expected" result???? Anyone else had this experience and was there any resolution or is the answer to stay away from X1? Thanks

Comcast pricing varies from market to market. But I can tell you that X1 is the same price as long as you don't change the number of boxes you have or any other services.When we got X1, we did not change anything else. Same number of boxes. Same services. Same channel package. If I recall our bill went down slightly.

Mail won't receive IMAP emails since ML upgrade

I upgraded to Mountain Lion this morning and havne't been able to receive any emails from my IMAP account since. I can send emails fine. I can receive all emails on my iPhone, just not my MBP.

Now that you have accessed as POP, you might lose messages if you again removed the account, depending upon whether the POP setting was to remove after downloading? So careful, now.
What Port was used when set up as IMAP -- was it IMAP type as shown in the Preferences?

When I donated on line yesterday, I was told I would receive an email about my transaction; why did I not receive one?

Since I have yet to receive an email confirming my donation, I got nervous. I just got off the telephone with my credit card banking company just to confirm that my donation did go to Mozilla Firefox. Since I got the right answer from them confirming who it went to, I am now O.K.

I am one of the unpaid volunteers here. The link at least appears to be genuine and similar links may be seen if you click the ''Mozilla'' tab at the top of these pages.
I might have expected a confirmation email to be sent. I also note the page mentions:
''Contributions go to the Mozilla Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, to be used in its discretion for its charitable purposes. They are tax-deductible in the U.S. to the fullest extent permitted by law. ''
I might have expected that to indicate some sort of numbered receipt would be issued for IRS purposes. Although you say you now have no need for a receipt I will ask, because of my own interest in the procedure and the possibility that something could be going wrong but not being noticed. It may be a couple of days before I or someone else will be able to give you any further information.
