I am trying to back up my Iphone 4s, and this is my 5th laptop that I have owned since the first generation of Ipnone came out. it looks like that I have reached the max registrations, what should I do?
If you need to autorize a computer and you have reached the limit if 5, then deauthorize all. You can then authorize the active computers.

I'm trying to back up my iphone from when I last backed up and it won't sync any of my songs. How do I sync it? Also, if I set up my phone as a new phone, will I lose all of my messages?
My 4S stopped automatically backing up at night when I updated to the new OS. I cannot manually force it to either. Possibly an issue with the new OS??

Can't get iCloud to back up on IPhone 5. Have 7.1 GB available. Backup keeps failing while I am plugged in and connected to wifi. It will show backing up now and estimated time 20 plus hours and always ends up failing after a couple hours
You need at least 50 MB of free space in order to back up to iCloud. Rather than backing up, have you tried importing the photos to your computer and deleting them from the camera roll as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083?

i have backed up my iphone 5 and have a 5s I want to set up from that backup file. I have gone through the process once, and when I next connect the new AND the old phone to the mac and open itunes, restore or create new phone comes up not synch?? Tried starting the whole process over once but same result. Seems not to recognise the phone and just synch as it should. Help?

Hi there, I need some help to sort out my iphone. I tried to back it up a few days ago and wanted to send all my photos from my iphone to my laptop. I downloaded the latest updated version of iTunes, which took about 2 hours as my laptop kept restarting. I then connected my iphone to my laptop and it was syncing away, and I think i hit Import Photos in the iTunes toolbar, thinking that would take my photos off my iphone and save them to my laptop, well it did the exact oposite and I have been too scared to try it again. I want to back up my photos before I update to the new IOS7 software as the last time I updated, it DELETED everything off my phone. Can anyone out there help me please???
Itunes has nothing to do with importing pics taken with the iphone to your computer. You import them as you would with any digital camera:

Open current iTunes on your computer. Connect iPhone to the computer with USB Cable. Follow directions or click the Restore button of iTunes.

TS3992 Trying to back up my iPhone 4s
I have an iPhone 4s and trying to back it up on my computer and it ask me to "Authorize This Computer" Pops up since trying to encrypting my back up. Everytime I put my iTunes password, it rejects it. What am I doing wrong?
I know the password to my iTunes account, but it still will not let me back up and it tells me I need to Authorize the computer.I have done that, but it won't take my iTunes user name and password even though I know that.
By the way is there any way to reset the Encrypt iPhone backup. I don't need to do a restore, but just want to make sure I know the password for this so I can back it up with encryption. -
Trying to back up iPhone because phone has a shattered screen. But it is requiring a passcode before I can back it up and the passcode has to be entered on the phone itself, which is impossible due to shattered screen. Any suggestions on a way to get around this?
If you never synced with iTunes since setting the passcode on it, you won't be able to back up to your computer without entering the passcode first. You can't get around this. This requirement is for your own safety, as it keeps someone who steals you phone from being able to back up your data to their computer without knowing your passcode.
