-If you established a rescue email address, there will be a link on the "Passwords & Security" page of id.apple.com.  Clicking the link will send the reset to your rescue email address (NOTE:  This is not the same address as your Apple ID email)
-If there is no link on the page, then you didn't establish a rescue email address.  Contact AppleCare at 800.694.7466 (If you are in the US), and ask for account security.  You will need to answer some questions to verify your identity, AND you will need access to a computer to generate a temporary support pin.

I wonder if it's the older OS or just a redemption glitch even with newer computers?

    What you normally should do when you have an iTunes card that has not been activated is go back the retailer from whom you purchased the card and discuss the problem with them. They should either correctly activate the card or give you a new one. If they refuse to help, as some retailers do, or you don't know or can't get to the retailer, go here:

    and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store. They will ask for a scan of the front and back sides of the card as well as a scan of the receipt

    If the email's not in a spam filter, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.
    They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

    Was the iTunes card issued in the same country as your account is based (they are only valid in their country of issue) ?     You might want to check the details you have linked to your account by visiting the website (appleid.apple.com) > Manage your Apple ID > Then sign in. 
    Once your satisfied with the information you have provided / changes you've doon. Try to make that purchase again. If you're being prompted for the billing info thing. Just follow the onscreen prompts. Click done at bottom of the screen to proceed.

    And it was not me!! I tried to reset 5 or 6 times my password but no message in my inbox. (the email that I was successfully registered in the community here was sent OK.)
    What can I do? I still can enter into my APPLE ID with my current password but I want to change it.

    I just saw that the app Doodle Jump HD FREE which  is said to be downloaded is not seen in my purchases in APP STORE, so assume it is a spam. However I still cant reset my password...
