I am trying to update the iPhone 3GS to IOS5. At download i get an error - network timed out. Repeated tried several times. Is there an issue with the Apple Update Server or too much rush ? How do i update my phone using iTunes?
I am using iPhone 3GS. It is currently updated to IOS4.3. I am trying to update the OS to IOS5 on iTunes. It downloads the software, but it gives an error - network timed out. I have tried this multiple times. But, the end result is same.
Please help & advise as how I can upgrade the iPhone to IOS5.
Temporarily turn off or disable your firewall and anti-virus software and try the download again.

The router and the modem may be separate physical boxes or, more commonly, they're in the same enclosure.
Unfortunately, if there is a firewall in the router, you will need help. I don't think that it's a good idea to try to walk you through it via the forum. You should contact the router supplier and have them walk you through the investigation. -

I have had very much trouble adding music to my wife's iPod. Every time I connect to iTunes, I get an error message that reads ...The iPod "Linda's iPod" cannot be synced. An unknown error occured (13019)...I have tried diagnostics, help and what ever iTunes has to offer and cannot fix the issue. I want to add a new playlist with new music. When I connect her iPod, the playlist shows up on her device. When I disconnect, I can not find it in order to play it. Help me.

With the new IOS 7 therer has been what is know as an activation lock in which disables the user to restore the device to default settings without knowing the password to the apple id. Once you have restored the device back to default settings it will then ask you to plug in the apple id password. Once you have verified your identity with the apple id password you will be good to go!

I have created a simple Flash menu for use on multiple site. They all access the same flash file. My original flash file only had a few links and tabs. The new one has more links, and a "LIVE" button at the bottom. But in Fire Fox, those that saw the original can not see the updated version in FireFox. They see it if they use Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera, etc. This issue comes up on all operating systems. This issue only occurs with FireFox. I've tried clearing FireFox's Cache but that doesn't seem to be working either.

If files don't get locked for (over-)writing and/or lose connection to the program opening them, then your server is misconfigured. It's as plain and simple and that. Anything from "known file types"/ file associations not being set correctly, MIME types being botched, crooked user privileges and file permissions, missing Mac server extensions, delayed file writing on the server, generic network timeout issues and what have you. Either way, you have written a longwinded post with no real value since you haven't bothered to provide any proper technical info, most notably about the alleged server. Either way, the only way you can "fix" it is by straightening out your server and network configuration, not some magic switch in Adobe's software.

It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. I tried to use lightning to usb camera adapter but every time I plug it into my ipad mine it give cannot use device. the connected usb device requires too much power. how could I use this attachment.
Or use the camera's SD card instead.

There is no such thing as an iPhone 's3'. There is a 3G which can only be updated to iOS 4.2.1 and a 3GS which can be updated to iOS 6.1.3.

I have done several "attempted downloads, and see the full file download, typically taking 30 minutes to complete, and then something goes wrong.

If the iTunes purchases are not in your iTunes library you can redownload them by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If you restore from backup, not that synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup and thus if those items are not in the iTunes library they can't be restored to the iPod during the latter part of the restore process.
