I can't get the audio Playhead menu to appear so I can trim an audio segment in a secondary audio track. I see others are having Trimming Issues, but I can't even get the menu to appear.....

I need to trim off the front and back of audio segments (pulling from iTunes)
The instructions seems quite clear on how to do this, but the Playhead Control does not appear when selecting and item in the secondary audio track. It seems pretty basic, but how do I even get the Playhead to appear?
I'm in hurry to finish a slideshow for a wedding (why I bought it to begin with) - any help will be appreciated.

That's the for the secondary track. But how do I trim the primary audio song from itunes. I did find a work around.
select the song in itunes.
command + I to get the information screen.
Under one of the tabs there is a "start" and "end" timer. Trial and error will put allow you to start and stop at the time specifed.
I renamed it " trimmed" so I knew it was a timmed version...then I inserted it into aperture the normal way...
A pain, but it works...

It sounds like for some reason you cannot see libraries on other devices but they can see your library just fine. I would recommend you perform troubleshooting steps 4-7 from the following article:

On your iPad, just go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, etc.>Add account>iCloud and put in the details of the account you set up. Shouldn't be a problem at all.

It turns on, but Freezes on the LG Logo. it currently goes into the LG Download Mode, and When I restore with LG's Mobile Support Tool, It finishes, reboots, and stays at the boot Logo. Actually your suggestions are the ones that i have tried. i have seen that you have tried to help others with this issue and the only one that i could find that said they found the problem said that it was an ilife update issue and it fixed it and i have no available updates. i know it has to do with something in photo stream because it happens when i create a new library and it is loading the photos but i get the message before i reach the maximum 1000 photos. so i've tried updating, new library(first backing up photos and then deleting them from iPhoto), reinstalling OSX many times, running disc utilities. I called Apple the first day i had this issue and i was the first person to call them for support with the retina display and i actually had it escalated to a senior advisor and we thought we fixed the problem but we did not. i am pretty fluent in dealing with troubleshooting these type of issues and this is the first time i'm reaching out to the community. i figured now that the retina has been out some time now that there would be an obvious answer to this issue. thanks for the quick reply.

I'm not sure that Lion AutoSave feature apply to network servers.

If it is a PowerBook G4 with a PC Card slot, you have two possibilities. You could buy a USB card reader for SD, or a PC Card adapter (such as SanDisk's 6-in-1adapter). Please note that you are or may be limited to plain SD (that is, not SDHC) unless otherwise noted. For a USB reader, make sure that it has Mac support. BTW, is an SD card absolutely necessary for the firmware update; is there not a way of updating via cable? If you post back with the camera model, someone may be able to provide additional information.

Plug it into the charger/wall socket and let it charge for at least an hour. It just might start charging. If you have already tried charging it for a fair amount of time and it didn't work, try restoring the device with iTunes.

if you are subscribed to the Hardwell podcast... quickly open the Podcast app and delete the most recent Hardwell podcast from 3/22.

I had the same issue with my apple tv 3rd generation. I rented Sinister and selected the "rent and watch now" option. Half way through the movie I accidentally pressed the menu button. When I looked for the rented movie on my apple tv I could not find it. Not even above the movie pannel where "purchased" and "top movies" comes up on the main menu. the apple tv suggests to go to settings>downloads but I don't have that option. I did go to settings> itunes store> check rentals but that didnt work either. It took too long to even check. Thank you because this SOLUTION worked great.
SOLUTION: How to reset apple tv 3 3rd generation to view rented movies:on the apple tv remote: press and hold "menu" to go to the main menu. Select SETTINGS> GENERAL >RESET >RESET ALL SETTINGS. After the apple tv resets, input all your information again and your rented movies should be visible when you cruise above the "movies" section. THANK YOU!!
