I cant get my 3g to play personalized ringtones

i installed the ringtone via the dowloaded app. installed the ringtone it is on the phone I can play it but when I attach it to a particular number to personalize it it still plays the default ringtone. I've reset the phone to its original state and rebooted still the same problem. The guys at the genius bar were also stumped they weren't very helpful either. Ther response wa "We never heard of this before" so you're basically out of luck and on your own. If someone out there has an answer please speak out. I'm looking at this as a challenge and somehow I'm going to solve it with or without Apple's help.

Cant get the games to play on the ipod

we just got a new ipod touch and we cant get the game apps to play on the ipod, help.

What does that mean?
You download the game?
You sync it to the ipod?
You see it on the ipod?
You open it?
What happens?

I cant get the music to play properly with headphones attached

when my music is playing and the headphones are not plugged in, the music plays normally.. when they are pluhhed however, the music sounds deformed, [i cant hear the singer] but can i hear the music playing.. i tried pulling the plug and putting it back in 12 or so times i reset my ipod [i held the home and lock buttons] and i reset my settings.. i dont know what to do now..

First try another pair of earphones
- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
- Check also Settings > General > Accessibility > Hearing. Make sure that the sound balance is not set all the way to "R".
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.

If not under warranty Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours.

I play games on pogo.com and mozilla crashed this afternoon and since that happen I cannot get my games in pogo to play. When i click on the little gray globe it says something about not being encrypted.

Audio CD's can be played with QuickTime.

My music is so messed up i have 3 copies of some things and cant get other things to play?

I just happened to buy a new computer within a week of starting icloud. My music is so messed up, I have 3 and 4 copies of some folders and some songs listed wont even play. I cant find one spot where all my music is listed. I'm so lost. Its messed up on my pc, iphone and ipad. Please someone help.
My pictures are the same mess but I'm more worried about my music since my pictures are also on a thumb drive.

If you still have your old computer with your iTunes library on it, copy the entire iTunes folder (not just the music folder) from your old computer to your new on (replacing the folder on it now) using one of the methods explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527.

Cant get downloaded movie to play or show up on Ipod touch

I downloaded a movie from I tunes last night and cannot get it to play on Ipod Touch. No movie icom on the touch only video....please tell me I am missing a short cut somewhere....

Go to the video icon and there should be a movie section tab at the bottom or you might have to click more, if this isn't there than go to iTunes and make sure the movie you downloaded is checked off.

The only thing you can do is get the phone back to the US somehow even if someone else has to take it for you (which is fine). The iphone does not have an international warranty except throughout the EU.

Try installing Perian. It's a library of codecs for QuickTime. These codecs allow QT to read a wider range of file types.

If that doesn't work you may need to convert the files.
iPhone movies can be converted within iTunes. Add the iPhone movie to your libary, select the file, go to File ➡ Create New Version ➡ Create AAC Version
Movies from your camera can be converted with a program called handbrake. www.handbrake.fr Open the file in the program. Then, select presets. then select from the availale options.
Converting movies is extremely labor intensive. Expect it to take 1-5 minutes per minute of footage being converted.

You can first try to update to the latest Flash 11.3.300.262 version.
