I did the factory reset, now my phone is REALLY jacked!

After the IceCream Sammich whatever update, my phone was possessed. Camera came on at will, in my pocket mostly. Calls would get stuck behind some non screen preventing me from answering, etc etc. Superdude at VZWireless store said I had to do the factory reset, so I did. Now, every time I try to go to Google play, it says no connection if I'm not on wi-fi. WTH?! My 4g showed up for like the 1st 5 minutes, now mobile network keeps saying turning on. I can call out, but that's about all i can do. Sync says "sync is having issues and should be back soon"!! Really, this is the IMPROVED version?

Couple things to try,
Take off back cover, try cleaning the metal contacts in the cover. Those are your antenna for WIFI, Mobile Net and bluetooth.
Do you have screen protector? If you do, MAKE sure it is positioned right. If it is too close to proximity sensor it will sometimes cause the screen not to come on. I had that problem with my Rezound.
I have found, just my two cents, I think touch screen phones just don't like being in pockets. They do some crazy stuff.
Rest of your issues, Like Demmo said, might be your SIM card.

I have the iPhone 4s on Verizon and never had this problem until I recently updated to iOS 7.0.2. I have the same case on it for several months. Yesterday, when I was talking on the phone with someone, it appeared as though I lost the call. But when I looked down at my phone, it was trying to Facetime with someone in my contact list. It happened again today. Different person, but both people have names that start with "A", so they are at the top of my contact list. Very frustrating! So, obviously updating to the latest iOS either did not help or was the cause of the problem.

Let's free your device! It's important to have a properly working device. Have you attempted an alternate Hard Reset on the device http://vz.to/19r2DOO? If the alternate Hard Reset does not work, then the device would need to be replaced. How long have you had this device? Any liquid or physical damage to the device? Keep me posted

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

I got my iPhone 4 yesterday. I almost immediately had issues with it. I contacted Apple and was told to do a restore via iTunes online. I completed the restore and now my phone has an iTunes logo on it with an arrow pointing at the logo and a picture of a USB cable beneath the arrow. I can't get the phone to do anything else and I can't contact support because my phone isn't working. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? I listed the operating system below as "Other OS" because I don't know what operating system I have.

If after you have tried the restart method (Hold down the home button and the power button for at least 15 seconds) then I would advise doing a complete factory reset on the phone.
Connect the phone to your computer, and once the device appears in the top right bar, click on it (It will be titled something like "Amanda's iPhone, or iPhone").
Once you have done this, click on the back up iPhone option, (This will save whatever files on your iPhone that aren't on your computer, to your computer.)
After this is done, click the "Restore iPhone" tab to completely reset the phone. If this option won't work, try the first method again when your phone is plugged into your computer and hold the home and power button the same time.

I had that same thing happen to me when I was updating my iPhone to iOS 5! What I did was I just kept resetting and resetting and holding down the home and power buttons until 3 in the morning. (ok, maybe it was only midnight but it sure FELT like 3 AM!) Anyway, I would just keep at it until it decides it wants to cooperate. Mine eventually did.

So ...
I unhooked my ATV from my TV and plugged it to my iMac using the Micro USB and did a full factory restore.
Now ...
I plugged it bak to the TV and stated from scratch -- had to tell it to use English, that I didn't live in Cuplertino's Time Zone, bla bla bla
I found my wifi network and plugged in the password.
When I tab to Computers it says "Turn Home Sharing On" (home sharing is "on" on my computer's iTunes -- or at least I believe it is). I type in my apple username (the one I use for the iTunes Store and when I log on to this discussions Support Community) and password it whirls away and then says:"Unable to sign in. Apple TV can't connect to the server at this time. Please try again later."
When I try to play Internet radio I get: "! Could not connect to "(null)" Make sure your computer has iTunes open and that it's on the same network as Apple TV."
I think I'm slipping backwards every step!
My ATV shows it is picking up my wifi with a strong signal. I now have ATV software 4.4.4 (3330)
Any ideas?

As much so I can recall what I did ...
went to the Genius Bar and they plugged my ATV into thier TV and I could log on using my Apple ID.
So we figured the issue was with my network.
When I upgraded to my new N router the cable guy told me to plug my desktop directly into the router -- faster, more dependable. But with Airplay turned off the Apple TV freaked out.
So I have unplugged my iMac from my router and am running it (and the ATV) wifi.
So far so good,
Still ... I wonder if I'm sacrificing some computer internet performance. But it works for now and I'm leaving it well enough alone.

Try plugging it up to your computer and launching iTunes and either resetting it to factory settings or resetting to last sync. Hopefully it just noticing it's plugged up to iTunes will fix it. This happened to my friend once and all she had to do was plug it into her computer and that fixed it.

Hi. Don't worry it's nothing serious. Insert the Instal Disc (Snow Leopard) and press the C button while turning on the computer. Once you see the desktop, go to Utility and choose Disk Utility. Select the Macintosh Partition on the left window pane and then click on Repair Disk and Repair Disk Permissions on the bottom right corner. Wait for both processes to finish. Click on the Apple icon (top left corner) and choose quit. Your computer should restart. See if it reboots normally. If not you can always reinstall the OS following the same steps. Good luck!

Why won't it let you sync? What happens when you try to sync it? Any error messages from iTunes? How is your iPod configured to sync music from your iTunes library? In other words, what options do you have selected from under the iPod's Music tab in iTunes? To access this tab, plug your iPod in, select it under Devices in the left hand pane of iTunes, and over to the right locate and select the Music tab along the top.
Or are you trying to manually manage your iPod's contents? In other words, is the Manually manage music and videos option enabled from under the iPod's Summary tab?
