I'm sorry for your unfortunate situation. This question is asked time and time again - sadly no, you cannot set up "Find my Mac" after it's lost or stolen. The whole point is that you have to set it up before you lose contact with it.
When you get a new Mac, this is one of the first screens you see - "Do you want to set up iCloud to Find My Mac?". I don't understand why anyone would answer "No".
There are third-party location utilities, but again, you have to set them up when the computer is still in your possession. I use Undercover by Orbicule - allows you to locate the computer and take webcam snapshots and keylogs of the person using it. I also have iCloud set up, so I have two options for location should it get lost or stolen.

I want to switch to firefox from Explorer, but somethinbg called Imesh keeps coming up when i try to get to firefox. How can i make firfox my browser and not Imesh?

I have beeb using Explorer on my laptop that came with Vista home premiun. (unfortunately). Explorer keeps crashing. i want to switch my browser to Firefox, but when I try I keep getting something called "Imesh" that appears to be posing as Firefox.

From what I understand Imesh is P2P software used to download various things. (Like Limewire.) I would just uninstall Imesh. My favorite utility to uninstall stuff is ccleaner, it makes uninstalls quick and painless. You can download it at http://www.piriform.com/ they make great free ware.
Now that the Imesh is removed do you have Firefox installed? When you install Firefox it will ask you if you want to use it as the default browser.
I hope this helps, if you wish to continuing various downloads with out the typical "P2P" silly stuff check in to torrents.

Hello. My iphone was recently stolen. My laptop operates XP. I have seen that my icloud account has used about 4Gb of memory so assume that my photos have automatically uploaded to icloud. Is there anyway I can download the photos to my laptop?

My iphone was recently stolen. I am hoping, by virtue of icloud memory used which I have viewed on a friend's Apple PC that my family photos are still on icloud. I assume that there is a chance my photos were uploaded automatically to icloud. My own laptop is XP only so I cannot access Photostream from my laptop.
Is there any way i can access icloud photostream and download all my family photos to my laptop?

I would just like to know if I can retrieve any of my old text messages? I have downloaded that Mr. Fone, but not really too computer savvy and just looking for direction.

I have no real faith in these alleged data recovery tools. If the text messages were deleted months ago and you were still using the device, the chances are slim, even if that program works.

After installinf ios6 I lost all contacts, I could not get them back so I hit restore. This restored the phone to 4 months back. The phone did not give me the option to restore from the cloud. is there anyway I can now restore from the cloud?

How many backups are in the cloud? When I installed ios6 it backed up to the cloud, since then I restored the phone trying to regain my contacts. At this point the used the last backup I performed on the computer 5 months ago. I never had the oppertunity to restore from the cloud. Is there anyway I can now restoe from the cloud and would it have the backup that was performed when I installed ios6?

Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase your phone. Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your phone is new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Navigate to Settings > General > Software Update and install any updates available.
Navigate to Settings > General > Reset > Erase all contents and settings on the device you want to restore.
When this completes and the Set-Up Assistant starts, choose "Restore from iCloud Backup" and enter your iCloud account and password. You will see the three most recent backups for each of the devices on which you enabled Backup. Choose which backup to restore from.
