Got email saying Icloud storage full.  Yet, iCloud on mac & Ipad shows 4.62 GB avail. of 5GB total.  How do I find out what is exactly wrong?

Most likely nothing is, others have received this email but nothing happens. For now (unless you are having problem) ignore it.

  • I got an email about a Gift Certificate I bought

I got an email about saying my email address was used to purchase a gift certificate. And I don't know what it's talking about! I recently got a new iPhone and haven't bought anything off iTunes yet till today. I bought a ringtone, is that what it's talking about?

You either recieved one, or you gifted one. Have you looked at this article: iTunes Store: How to use your iTunes gift certificate

i got an email about recent purchased but i am really concern about that cause i didn't purchase any of them

Beware this is a common phishing scam: you get an authentic-looking email saying your account has been charged - usually a significant amount of money, to get your attention - and "click here" to confirm. Don't do that.
Check your purchase history as King_Penguin wrote. If the purchase does not appear, delete the email and forget about it.

  • CC Photography membership - suddenly had email about LR being trial?

I've been using the CC Photography subscription since December and, aside from the odd glitch relating to the CC app, have had no issues. Running it on Windows 7 x64.
I've noticed today when checking my email that Adobe have contacted me stating that "Your 30 Day Trial is Nearly Up". However, when I log in to LR, I get no message about it being a trial, and the CC app doesn't indicate this is the case (although I'm not certain that it would anyway). I've had a brief look at the help FAQs provided by Adobe and they're not much help in relation to my apparent problem.
Should I be concerned? Despite no mention if it being a trial when I launch LR, will it suddenly stop working imminently?
(Hoping this gets picked up by someone amongst the waves of spam currently hitting the forum)

Actually, just thinking about this some more, I think that what must have triggered the email is the fact that when LR 5.4 was released, I decided to update it via the CC app; previously, I'd been using my non-CC version which had somehow ended up appearing in the CC app as an installed app anyway. This update happened 26 days ago according to  CC, so somehow that must have been flagged as being a trial somewhere in the Adobe system, hence the email I received. However, as it's not actually displaying anywhere that it's in trial mode (can't actually recall where I should look, but I think it comes up on the splash screen for a start?) and as you believe it's nothing to worry about then I'll carry on regardless!

  • I am suspicious of an email about iCloud account? Is there a phish going round?

I purchased more storage in my iCloud account earlier last year.   I have just received an email advising that a particular card will be debited in April, unless I downgrade my account.
It refers to a card I only took out last November and long after the new storage was ordered.   But it does cite the correct last four digits.  I would not have used this card for the storage purpose.
It is a very good looking email and takes me to Apple-looking items.    It is a no-reply address and, in any event, due to my suspicions, I would not reply.
You know the old saying - even if you are paranoid, it doesn't mean they are not out to get you.
I have tried the Apple support form but it doesn't really lend itself to this sort of enquiry.
    Anyone received off renewal emails?
    Thank yhou

iCloud Storage is charged via iTunes payment method so it you changed that after you got your new card that would explain why it would be the one charged. You can review/change your payment method at Change or remove your payment information from your iTunes Store account (Apple ID) - Apple Support

  • I called Apple twice about iCloud being down

I called Apple for a second time this morning about my mail being down for two days. The man gave me no explanation, even after I asked for one, explaining I use this account for work and need to know when this will be repaired. I guess I asked him too many questions because he hung up on me! Wow, Apple! What is going on there? I've been a MobileMe subscriber for years before they did away with it. They wouldn't return my money last year, even after they cancelled the service two days after I re-subscribed. I definitely didn't get what I paid for and now they are treating their customers terribly. They really need to explain.

Since tuesday afternoon (9//11) I can't use e-mail on my MacBookPro and my iPhone 4S. iCloud is down, also the webmail function. My clients are sending me e-mails for work, and I don't recieve them. I'm losing clients now! I think its outrageous that it takes so long, and that it is not communicated to the Apple users.
I'm an Apple user since 12 years, and right now they wont even talk to me:-(

  • HT1933 Never got an email about purchasing a movie on iTunes, but got billed twice on two different bank accounts. How do I get refunded?

I have two different bank accounts and I still had my old on in my itunes when going to purchase the movie. Said the account was then not the right information...reposted my new bank account information that I wanted to get billed and it charged me on both accounts. How do I get refunded on the one account?

Both are 'proper' charges, one isn't just a temporary holding charge ? If they are then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • I got an email from AppleCare Support about a call I never made

I got this email about an apparent call I made to AppleCare Support. I never made any such call. If that is so, then why did I receive this email? Did someone call with my account information or is this scam?

2 summers ago, I was live-in caregiver for my Dad & Mom. I am watchin TV in the back room and before I know what's happening, my poor folks had given some gypsies $100 cash to 'clean' the outside  of their gutters! The hook those f****** used was elegantly simple. They had gone into HomeDepot, grabbed a handful of Behr Product brochures and were saying they were using this stuff to clean with at $60/gallon! Turns out the product was really $6 (SIX) /gallon!! They were just about to get a check for $600 from my Mom (had it written about to sign and hand it over) when I wandered out to the front and saw the commotion. I immediately put a stop to it. Papa Gypsy started to get in my face & fight before his kinsmen grabbed him and dragged him off as I was calling 911.
Moral... trust NO-ONE - in any form of media - no matter how slick the deal looks. My poor OLD folks still  don't realize what happened. They think *I* was the a******!
All your scammer had to do was parrot Applese, design with alot of white space, put real looking footers and such. The tell to me for sure was "Call Apple" with NO NUMBER (I didn't think you intentionally edited that out)
Glad you posted and I was able to help. Maybe Apple will sick their goons on 'em I'd have goons if I was rich and powerful wouldn't you?

  • I received a text today while at work about iCloud keychain verification code. I have not signed up for it or anything that uses it. I work out of the city with limited internet access so not sure why I would be getting this. Is my info safe??

I received a text today while at work about iCloud keychain verification code. I have not signed up for it or anything that uses it. I work out of the city with limited internet access so not sure why I would be getting this. I only got this number about a month ago. Apparently someone else had the number before because I get texts from his family members wondering whats going on. I got one yesterday and the person didn't seem to thrilled that the number was cutoff and today I got 2 texts about iCloud Keychain which I don't even know what it is. Seems suspicious to me. If the person who use to own the number is doing it he should know it is not his number anymore because he obviously didn't pay his bills.  I'm not too sure about iCloud Keychain so just want to know my info safe?? It says it can store credit card numbers which is what gets me worried. Frankly I think it's pretty stupid to save that kind if information with any kind of app. But I don't want some random person trying to access my personal information because they are bitter they lost their number.  Please let me know as soon as possible so I can change passwords or anything that is needed.
    thanks

If it were me, I would go to my carrier and get a new number. Since you have only had it for a month, the inconvenience would be minimal.

  • Hi guys, My iphone got stolen yesterday, it was off but i've just got an email the last place my iphone was found yesterday night and again it got off, i went to the address but they said they have not found any iphone, what should i do?

    Hi guys,
My iphone got stolen yesterday night, I activated lost mode but the phone was off and couldnt be tracked, today i just got an email about the last place the phone was found yesterday night, its off again, i went there but they said that nobody has found an iphone, police does not do anything also, what should i do?

My iPhone was stolen. Straight away I used the findmyiphone app. No surprise that the phone had been turned off, rendering the app totally useless.
I thought its ok, I've got a pin code. My brother then goes on to tell me that they are easily bypassed.
My brother states that if you put an iPhone in dfu mode, connect that iPhone too iTunes
That iTunes detects the said phone is in dfu mode and does a system restore.
Wiping the phone and giving the Theif a brand new iPhone!!!
Someone from apple please tell me WHY THIS CAN HAPPEN?!

  • I just got an email saying one of my iCloud accounts is full, but didn't tell me which one

I have a family that uses one iTunes account, but four iCloud accounts (from old mobile me accounts). I got an email on the iTunes account saying one of them was full, which probably means I didn't get one device setup correctly with the common iTunes account for the store, and the individual iCloud account for personal backups, etc
How can I see which device is registered to the iTunes account for its iCloud (instead of the old mobile me account) without logging into each device?
Is there any way for me to monitor four separate iCloud accounts (space utilization) to see if anyone needs cleaning up. As the family sysadmin, I don't want to find out later someone's space ran over and they haven't been backup up in months.

Here are more details. The email that's not working says, "password rejected for security reasons, please sign in to reset password". I've reset the password numerous times (not at once but I wait a couple days to change it) and it's still rejecting each new one. I signed in to iCloud.com and in my Advanced Settings I "Reset Documents and Data". iCloud does not show any of my email devices (I have a Macbook Pro, iPhone & iPad). iCloud says if my devices aren't showing I must be signed in to iOS 8 or OS X which I am. I'm receiving all email except for the one email account. It is a secondary iCloud account, me.com. After doing the resets, restarting my Mac, the email account is STILL telling me I have to reset the password, which is where I'm stuck. Also, my AppleID/iCloud email is a valid gmail account I've been using for 5 years.
