I have a macbook pro retina, is it possible to use the screen for my xbox, I know the hdmi is an output not an input but didn't know if there was some sort of workaround for this?

Outputs yes but not input. You might be able to find some kind of video input device but that would most likely have to run inside an app and would cost much more than a small monitor for your Xbox.

Does any have their MacBook Pro retina 2012 freezes up then desktop blue screen for 15-20 seconds?
I have been having issues for months now. My MBP 15" is freezing up after I stop typing in any application. I cannot do anything. Then after 20-30 seconds my desktop goes to a blue screen then comes back after 20-30 seconds. Just did it now when I stopped typing. Went to the Genius Bar they reload the software but it's still happening. Currently on Mountain Lion.
If you like you can also restore, via Disk Utility, the DMG onto another disk, but you will be able to read the contents, simply mounting the volume inside any version of OS X.

Also If I erase hard drive and then reinstall mavericks OS X from "command + r mode" and after that hopefully I can get back in would I hook my external hard drive and then open the copy of the "macintosh".dmg and drag everything back on? or...? -

I have always used the apple TV remote for my presentations. I bought a retina display last year for the betterment of my presentations and now I have to stand near my computer and hit a button to change my slides where as before I used my remote. Will a infra-red adapter work with the apple TV remote in the macbook pro retina display? Love my computer, but very disappointed not to have a remote for presentations that does not need the internet. Does anyone have any ideas?
Yes, I used that and it works great if you have wireless connection. Im looking for a remote that worked like the apple TV remote. My questions is, "Is there a USB infra-red remote that works with mac. I have found this one: Keyspan EZ1 easy presenter. It claims with works with PC and Mac and the reviews are good. Does anyone know anything about it or if it works with retina display macs?

I have a macbook pro retina and a macbook air which I just purchased, I want to share all of the music on the retina with the air.
The simplest way is to use an external USB drive. Copy the iTunes folder to the drive while it's connected to your MBP. When done eject the drive. Connect the drive to the MBA. Navigate in the Finder to the /Home/Music/ folder on the MBA. Copy the iTunes folder from the external drive into the /Home/Music/ folder.
OS X Mountain Lion- Drag and drop.
If you have a backup of your MBP, then you can use it to restore the /Home/Music/iTunes/ folder to the MBA. -

Try a Safe Boot to clear the dyld_shared_cache (dynamic loader cache)

I have a MacBook Pro Retina (2,3 GHz Intel Core i7 - 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 - Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB). I use KompoZer for my website, but after installing OS X Yosemite it doesn't work right (I cannot see images in the website).
It's beta open source software so I'm not surprised. It does't look to be too active a project, so I don't know if it will help or not but you might be maybe better off posting a bug report on their Sourceforge page here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/kompozer/

If so see the css standards css1, css2, css3 to see what they can provide and which browsers are most compatible. If you are talking about languages use a current standard like html5, php, C#, visual basic , javascript, etc.
