I keep getting Configuration Error: 6 when I try to open my Adobe CS5.1 on my Macbook Pro with 10.6.8 operating system. I have tried to restart in safe mode and un/re-installing. What is there I can do to prevent this?

Verify that access to ports 80 and 443 are allowed on your network.

Discard the .ipsw file, open iTunes and attempt to download the update again. See the steps underAdvanced Steps > Rename, move, or delete the iOS software file (.ipsw) below for file locations.
Restore your device while connected to a different network.
Restore using a different computer.

an "itunes has encountered a problem ..." message on launch citing that offset is almost invariably caused by a broken QuickTime. (itunes needs a fully functional QT in order to work properly.)
try to open your QuickTime. does it launch properly? or do you get an error message, or some other peculiar behavior, or find that it isn’t on your PC at all?
if you get an error message (or peculiar behavior, or find that it’s missing), the first thing we'll try is a careful standalone QT 7.1 reinstall.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.1 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.

Please excuse, but I have to ask an obvious question: Did you already update using the Snow Leopard Retail install DVD? (You must do this first; 10.6.7 is just an update if you already have 10.6.) Are you, then, trying to update from whatever version was on the install DVD to 10.6.7?
Otherwise, I'd keep trying. The 10.6.7 Combo is a huge update.

What is going on with iCloud? My photos haven't uploaded to Photostream on my computer and I keep getting an error when I try to log in to my icloud account!

My photos from my iphone 4s have not uploaded to my photostream folder on my laptop in over 2 weeks. Also, when I try to log in to my icloud account, I keep getting an error.

Thanks for your suggestion. I started to sign off, but was uncomfortable deleting iCal data from my iMac in case there were old entries not sync'd to iCloud. So I decided to only delete Notes data from my iMac.
I first checked Notes on different devices and saw that they contained more data than my iMac, so I was pretty certain this is what I had in iCloud (another way would be to log on to icloud.com). I then unchecked Notes under System Preferences>iCloud, which prompted me to delete Notes from this Mac. I clicked on Delete from Mac, allowed it to finish, then clicked on the Notes checkbox again, and it sync'd the data from iCloud back to Notes on my iMac.

You may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

If the update had an error, then check out the article below to restore your iPhone. It will walk you through putting your iPhone into recovery mode and then using iTunes on your computer to restore it. If you have a back up through iTunes or iCloud, then your can put that back up back on after you have completed the restore.

Keep getting Ajax error when I try to register for ePrintCenter

I'm trying to register for ePrinterCenter, but everytime I try to submit the form on the 'Create an HP Web Services account' page (https://h30495.www3.hp.com/user_create?next=%2F) I get the following error message:

Can someone please tell me what this error means, and how I can go about resolving it?

Please try this 2 steps;
1. Use another browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, firefox, safari, Opera).
2. Sign-in with an alternative account (Shapfish form HP, google account, Facebook). If you do not have an account with one of the ones mention create one and follow this to sign-in with the new account. https://h30495.www3.hp.com/help#eprint
I hear here (other members of the community) that there is an issue that engineer are working on diligently that may be affecting this process. At the same time I know that other members have some success using this steps mentioned before.

Pocket Tunes and Treo755p - keep getting an error when I try to sync

I just got a Treo755p and I have been trying to add music. I have Windows Vista on my notebook and I hot sync with BlueTooth and with the cable. (I have been using the USB cable when I have been trying to add music.) I downloaded updated Pocket Tunes - version 4.0.7 Bundle. I have music on my Windows Media Player - but when I try to sync with the Treo - I keep seeing the list with Error beside every song. There is no error code. What am I doing wrong?

I banged my head on the wall with the same problem for two days. Tried everything mentioned, and this worked, finally. The problem is that the backup files are not where you think they are.
You need to delete the MobilSync backup folder. I have a Mac. Went to /Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup and deleted the Backup folder.
Fixed the problem. Give it a try and good luck!

That is odd. I would uninstall iTunes from the computer and re-install it from scratch. The cool thing is that it won't delete any music or backups and such. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925?viewlocale=en_US this here link walks through uninstalling and re-installing iTunes. The basics are going to your control panel and removing iTunes, Quick time, Apple software update, Apple mobile device support, Bonjour, and Apple application support. Then go to iTunes.com and download a new copy of iTunes. This should resolve the issue!

I am trying to add photo's to my contacts on Icloud but keeping getting 'server error' when I try to upload them - anyone got any ideas?

I regret that you're having trouble setting up your email, corbad! You're on the right track with your incoming email address. You might also try incoming.verizon.net or incoming.yahoo.verizon.net as possible alternatives, and 995 as the port number. Please let me know how that goes!
