How can I add a watermark in a datagrid?

With Flextras Components, we put the watermark under the component and make the component slightly transparent. Most Flex components are already slightly transparent, so it's no big deal.
Although I have not experimented with this, I believe you can put it on top and specify mouseEnabled and tabEnabled to make it a virtually invisible watermark.

Help needed to add an image to a datagrid cell in actionscript

Morning all,
I am still quite new to flex development and I have an application which uses xml to populate a datagrid. One of the row columns should display a small image but I don't know how to do that.
Can anyone show me how to add an image to a datagrid cell in actionscript?

you cant just set image object to itemrenderer, you need to use classfactory.

I'm editing photos and need to add a watermark. I have tried to add the watermark and everytime i add it. it doesnt show up on the photos. Its really bugging me. can anyone help.

The watermark should show up on the photos you Export when you’ve enabled it for a particular Export batch.
Some fonts aren’t compatible with watermarking, though, so you might try another font and see if it works better.

Hi have found the solution. You need go into the View menu and make sure that you have checked the Show Invisibles option. Once you can see the invisibles, you should see a blue line at the top of the "blank" page with a small "document" icon at the right of the line. You need to delete this blue line/icon which will delete the whole page as long as there are no other "invisible items" which may also need to be deleted.
I did the above and my blank page disappeared from the thumbnails view immediately.

I have to display a water image, when the user trying to see print preview.
I.e. on certain condition i need to print the water mark on the page .

In the page, background picture i have added the image. But some how itu2019s coming for me in the foreground only. Where it was supposed to come as background picture.
I have read some where only the grayscale type image only can come as background picuture.
I have trying to upload grayscale type image, but its not allowing from se78.

Yes you can add back ground picture based on a condition,
Or you can dynamically decide which water mark shall appear based on a condition.
You need to implement respective logic.
In the INITIALIZATION of global data assign the image name that should prior appear.
Later, in the CODE of a page, reassign the image name with respect to a condition. But make sure the assigning is done well before a new page is triggered else, that page would continue with the image you mentioned in the INITIALIZATION.
Suppose the design such that, the page shall contain 10 items, with a image that varies with following page with same number of items.
In the page, start a counter and track for the number records once the counter is 10, assign the image name.
As soon as 10 records are printed, a page break is triggered and also a new image assigned to that page.

How can I add a watermark via JavaScript that includes the current datestamp?

Part of my daily work process here is to scan in a huge stack of inbound mail. I then OCR the scans, delete the blank pages, and add a watermark. I've got a batch process set up for the first two steps, but I can't make a watermark for the datestamp itself and need to do so via JavaScript, but I have a luddite-level understanding of it.
As of right now, these are my settings I'm using to add the datestamp:
What I want to do is run a script to do the same thing and insert the current date where I have mm-dd-yy currently, but I don't have the first clue of where to start. Any help you could offer would be hugely appreciated

You can use the doc.addWatermarkFromText() method as a JavaScript step in an Action.

In Editor, go to File>process multiple files, and on the right there is an option under "Labels" for Watermark. You need to have the files in a source folder, and point to a destination folder.
Another option is to use the Horizontal or Vertical type tool, then type the watermark information in the font & color of choice. It will be on its own layer, and can be positioned with the move tool.
A third option is to make a watermark or signature brush which can be applied efficiently to multiple files.

Can I automatically add a watermark/background during the printing process?

We use Quickbooks to email invoices directly out of QB. This software automatically creates the PDF documents by directing the print job through the PDF Printer then attaches it to a new email. What I need to do is add either a watermark or a background automatically to the printed document during this process. I cannot create and save the document first, open it and manually add the watermark. So is there a way to do this so that the workflow goes like this: QuickBooks > Add watermark (in printer properties??) > Attach PDF to new email. You'll need to print the watermark first, then the calendar (or vice vers, but separate print runs).

Added logos look pixelated and how to add a watermark?

I'm having a bit of trouble. i'm trying to add a watermark with one half of the logo covering the footage and the other half the black bar. Because I need to crop the video the logo (ofcourse) gets cut in half. When I try importing the entire file as a .MOV file and then add the logo I have alot of loss in quality. Trying it in After Effects didn't help either.
Also, adding the logos and text in Premiere as a .PNG file looks pixelated even though the file is of a very high resolution. How can I fix this/

Picture this...
You have 16:9 footage with really good stuff at the extreme right and the extreme left. SO you want to keep it that way. You also have 4:3 that you don't want to scale up. SO you use a 4:3 project. Now you have two choices. You can crop all of the 4:3 footage, or, when you get all done editing with both 16:9 and 4:3 you export the entire mixed clip as a 4:3 clip. Import that into Premiere Pro and crop the entire clip to look letterboxed. Now add a logo that happens to sit near the bottom right and some of it is over video, and some is over black letterbox.
Only none of this is relevant other than to explain that he has a problem with his logo in that it looks pixelated.
Solve the pixelation and the other explanation is not relevant.

Aperture has a watermark option in the Export Presets. You can use it, if you already have an image file with your signature or other watermark images. Use "Preview" to create a basic signature or watermark image, or any of the more versatile apps TD recommended.
In Aperture you add a watermark like this: Make a custom preset by copying one of the presets and add your watermark to it.
Select the images.
Use "File > Export"
In the "Export" dialog set "Export Preset" to "edit"
In the "Edit" panel select the preset you want to use. Click "+" to make a copy.
In the copy enable "Show Watermark".
Click the "Choose Image" button to select your watermark file.
Click "OK" to close the panel.
Now set "Export Preset" to your custom preset in "Export" dialog and save the image.
Then mail it or import the watermarked copy to Aperture.

Ok, the first thing you should do is open Pages help, and type in 'master objects', Click on the first/top result "using master objects (repeated Background images). This will open the basic instructions. I can tell you what is not in the help instructions.
You are going to have to click on 'text box' located on the pages menu bar. after the text box opens, type the text you want,select the text, choose the font type/size, and then click on the outside of the text box in order to select it, when you do that the menu bar will change and you will see "opacity" click on that and choose how much, usually trial and error is needed by printing out a few pages first. you can change the angle of the text box by two finger twist on the track pad. after you have customized your watermark and positioned it, follow step 3 in the Pages help instructions.

I'm looking for a way i can batch add watermarks to a video?
But rather than add the same watermark to say, 50 videos... I want to add 50 watermarks, to the same video? So if i have 50 different watermarks and 1 video, i'll end up with 50 videos each with a unique watermark?
Is it possible to achieve this without doing it manually? in After Effects or any other Adobe software..

The way that I would do this would be to bring all the water marks you want to use into Premiere.
Lets say they are just the watermark and nothing else (no background etc), import them all into Premiere and load each one onto the video. You would then need to go ahead and export or queue as you go, or you could make 50 timelines and queue them all and let it run out all the exports.
You should be able to re position and change opacity from premiere if you needed.

Write a pgm to take many PDFs and add a watermark

I need to run a program on a system that needs to take many pdfs and add a watermark or logo to it on each page.
Is this possible and is it allowed?
This may run in a windows service and check if there are any pdfs in a drive, if it is there, it will take it and put a watermark in it and save it.
I hope that while printing, the watermark should not print over the text that is on it. thanks

Do I need to add Base Station MAC address to list?

Hi, If I choose to use MAC address filtering on my Airport Extreme Time Capsule, do I need to add the wireless MAC address of the Base Station to the list of allowed MAC addresses??? I'd feel real bad if I set up a list, didn't include the base station's MAC address and then could never get in to the network again because I, in effect, locked myself out??? I doubt that address needs to be included but I would like some feedback on that.
Second, does the one MAC address filter list apply to the Guest Network as well if I should choose to turn it on??? If that was the case, I would just turn off MAC address filtering why guests were present.

No. Timed Access would be for wireless devices....computers, mobile devices, printer, etc., that are connecting to the Time Capsule. The Time Capsule does not connect to itself in this regard.

Sometimes, users lock themselves out by mistake by entering incorrect times for devices to connect, and they often forget that they can connect to the base station using an Ethernet connection and get back in that way.....since Timed Access only applies to devices that connect using wireless.
