I no longr have close tab and it exits each time which is a pain rather than closing a tab!!1
I have no additional information. My file tab has been redone and it does not lists a "close tab" which is a real pain when trying to look at houses and can't close a tab but it exits as only option, can i go to the previous system as this is not working for me
I am not entirely sure hat you are trying to do.
If you have several tabs open in firefox the active tab will contain a cross and can be closed by clicking that cross. The others do not display crosses but if right clicked give options to close, or to close other tabs.

i cant use mail to send an email. it goes to my out box and then eventually comes up with this dialogue :

I have to click Try Later and then quit mail , then restart Mail and then if I am lucky the email will be sent. the next time I have to send an email the same thing happens . In fcp7 there is a "close gap" option so you don't have to highlight and move everything every time you delete a small section in the middle of a video. Is it possible to do this in fcpx? I can't seem to find it...Thanks!
This isn't the actual clip, I fixed it by highlighting and moving everything over but it'd still be a good thing to know for the future. This is essentially the situation i'm talking about. I would never use it for something this simple, but when more complicated editing is being done it isn't so easy to just move all the clips over.

The "+" sign which opens NEW TAB has stopped working suddenly. I have to open a new window each time. I tried uninstalling firefox and installing again but the problem still persists. Somebody guide me on this.
Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.

I am no musician, but have owned an iMac now for around four years. During that time I have had Garageband installed. I have dipped in and out very occasionally as I would like nothing more than to be able to get my head around it just for my own amusement really. I would at least like to be able to record my electric guitar with loops and tracks etc, just try to be a bit creative and see what comes out. The problem that I have is that perhaps its me, but every time I try to get to grips with this software, I just can't seem to get my head around it, even to begin to do something. I have now recently downloaded 10.0.2 which is confusing in itself, as, as far as I can ascertain that is actually version 11, but I'm not even sure about that. I have also recently purchased a Rocksmith RealTone Cable to connect my guitar. I can sometimes get a sound come out, but nothing to brilliant. And every time I try to set something up, it just doesn't seem to work out. I end up hitting buttons and controls in the simple hope that I may hit the correct control in order to get some sort of result. But I'm kind of fumbling in the dark with this. I have trawled the Internet just trying to find either a good manual or video tutorials for absolute beginners, but there just simply doesn't seem to be anything of that nature out there and what there is appears always to be very sketchy and not particularly detailed in explaining anything properly, and so I always find myself seemingly jumping in with both feet and just struggling to try and find a foothold with this on how to really begin. It is so frustrating as I can see the fantastic potential of this software, but just can't understand how to use it properly. If there is anyone out there who may be able to offer me some advice with this, I would be most grateful indeed... Many Thanks.

Version 10.0.2 is the newest version and the successor to GarageBand '11 (version 6.0.5).
The '11 is referring to the iLife '11 suit of multimedia application - the older GarageBand was a part of this bundle.

I have a separate apple id and my daughter bought a song using my ID rather than hers. She was playing on my computer and bought it, thinking it would download to her phone through the cloud. Now I've got this song that I don't care for and have no use for. Is there a way to get it to her ID short of burning it on to CD and then uploading it to her phone?

I have the same problem.. EXACTLY. . When phoning Apple Support they had trouble understanding my problem and couldnt find any type of solution. No one seems to take responsibility for GameCenter issues. The assistant escalated the problem but no one could find an answer. .
The only idea was to set up a new apple id, hence a new GameCenter account. . But that would loose all the itunes data. Anyone got ideas ? -

I have a subscription and I pay each month for that. I installed the suite Adobe (indesign, photoshop, illustrator and acroba) on my second computer (laptop) but they are installed like trial version. I can't activate them with my adobe. They still are trial versions... How can I actvate them on my second computer ?

I have tried uninstalling and installing itunes several times following the outlined tutorial. During part of the installation i get a message that recommends me get in contact help/support and concludes with HRESULT:0x800736B3 ...................any ideas?

Record about my phone (bought in Verizon store and connected to Verizon for 4 years) has been corrupted and now I can not make any changes to my data plan. Several sessions with the technical support and management have not resolved this issue. Each time technical people and top managers promised that this issue will be resolve tomorrow and they will cal me. Nothing happend!! I can not even cancel my service not just to upgrade it. Completely locked.

If you are the account owner you can go to the My Verizon web portal http://www.verizonwireless.com
You must log in with your cell number and your my Verizon portal password. Not the account pin.
Once there you can change your plan and services. However repeated incorrect login attempts will lock you out of the site. It a fraud prevention measure.
1-800-922-0204 call support with your cell number and or account number and account pin and they can assist you.
If you don't have the information then there is nothing they can do.
If you can verify who you are they may be able to reset your account access. But only if you are the account owner.
