Did you check your security software settings? eliminating conflicts from third-party security software.

After trying to restore my iphone 2g, it is stuck on the connect to itunes screen
after trying to restore my iphone 2g, it is stuck on the connect to itunes screen.
I am using it without phone service.
I connected it to my conputer and followed the activation steps.
then it took me to the sync screen where in the middle of the sync itunes said "iTunes could not backup iPhone because the backup session failed"
all through this the iPhone is stuck on the connect to iTunes screenCome on now, someone must know how to fix this.

my iphone froze so i turned it off and back on again and it has been stuck on the apple sign since 9pm lastnight how do i get it to work again?
What version of OS X are you running? If your MBP came with an installation disc, try booting from it and using Disk Utility to verify and, if needed, repair your hard drive. If you're running Lion or Mountain Lion and your computer didn't come with an installation disk, try holding down the Command and R keys whilst booting and try Disk Utility.

My iphone was updating to IOS6 from IOS5, then I thought by turning off my iphone it will cancel the update. It did, but now it keeps turning on but not compleely only until the apple sign shows up then turns off. Help please!
You will have to try putting it in DFU mode and allowing it to update. Once it has begun, you can't stop it.

Next try placing in DFU mode and then restoring.
