I tried updating my apps, now they have all frozen and won't update, why?
I needed to date my apps, so I pushed update all so they started to update and now they have frozen.
Once one freezes the the others can't download. Usually a reset is all you need. Press and hold both the power and home buttons for 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds for your iPad to start by itself.

Please see the bold. If you're out of icloud storage, then you won't be able to backup to icloud unless you purchase more storage, but yet you said you backup to icloud.
If you really did backup to icloud no data would be loss - sounds to me that it didn't backup since you had no more free icloud storage space.

I have an Apple iphone 4s and for the last 4 weeks I cannot download or update any apps. I have an iPad and a Mac book pro and the apps download on these devices fine. My phone tells me that I have 12 updates but when I press update all or update any individually nothing happens at all. It also does not ask me for my password any more but my iPad and mac book do.
I have signed in and out of the app store and the password is correct. I have tried both kinds of reboot but that did nothing. I have tried to update the apps by connecting phone to Mac book pro...it shows the apps being download on the Mac book and says it will sync them to my phone but it does not. Everything else on my phone works fine.
Any ideas ...Please!Thank you, this has resolved both the iphone and ipad problem immediately. I am concerned that I may have a problem with apps that I bought under my old AppleID as they will not be recognised. Any suggestions for this please?

My children just got iPods touch. I registered them on my account so they can have acces to my I tunes Acc. Now they have all my list of contacts receive my messages have my music my pics, also when they install an app like pandora they have all my stations, things that they don't want. How can I fix this.
As for iMessage, you do Settings -> Messages (scroll down) -> where it says iMessage, turn the switch to off.
As for pictures, you do Settings -> iCloud -> Photo Stream -> My Photo Stream -> turn switch off.
As for apps, you do Settings -> iTunes & App Stores (scroll down alot) -> Music, Apps, Books are all swtiched off.
If you want to the delete the music, you go onto the music app and slide your finger from right to left on the song. -

You might want to browse or search through that one and then create a new post there if you can't find an answer; I've heard of posts detailing problems with iLife applications if you either buy a used Mac or wipe/reinstall your OS. I'm not knowledgeable enough about that subject, but somebody there should be. -
just updated my i-Phone 6 from 8.0 to 8.02 (did not try 8.01). Now I have all the problem they describe with 8.01 (lost ID Touch, no cell network access). So the 8.02 did create a problem I did not have. What to do?

I can't update my apps - now they don't work at all
I don't really use apps on my blackberry but there are two that I use everyday, these are twitter and whatsapp . I don't know if they need updating but they have just stopped working all together, this has happened before but updating them seems to fix it. Now I can't get on to the app world to do this because is says that it needs wifi but I don't have this. Is there any way that I can get onto the app world just using the mobile Internet because this seems like such a silly idea for the people that don't have wifi!

You can delete it there.

If the apps are waiting:

I can't update my ipod touch software because when i check for updates using itunes it says the software is up to date. Does this mean i have to get a newer ipod touch or is there a way to manually update the software to the newer versions?
You probably have a 1G iPod. See here:

Solution, worked for me, hold down home and lock buttons for ten seconds, ignore red slider if it appears, this will reset the iPad without loss of data, solved my issue

Here's the process to roll back:

You can share the same Apple ID for purchasng form the iTunes and app stores without any problems, but you should all used separate iCloud accounts with separate Apple IDs. (You are not required to use the same ID for iCloud and other services as you do for the iTunes store.) This will prevent you from ending up with merged data. You should also use separate Apple IDs for iMessage and FaceTime or you will end up getting each other's text messages and FaceTime calls.

Those apps are forever tied to the Apple ID they were purchased under. You can either delete them and re-purchase them, or you can go to Manage your Apple ID and reset the password on the old Apple ID so you can use it to update your apps: Apple - My Apple ID
If you decide to continue to use them under the old ID password, I would suggest that when you reset that password, you change it to be the same password as the one you are currently using. That way when apps need to be updated you will only need to know one password and you won't have to be concerned with which Apple ID is displaying.
