I've been overcharged on my bill

Hi, I've just received my bills. I get two separate bills, one for line rental (monthly), one for broadband / home hub.
My broadband / home hub bill has been overcharged, specifically on the usage details under 'other'. It seems that I'm being charged for calls made during the day, which shouldn't be happening as I am on the unlimited UK anytime plan as regards phone calls, which I set up on 31st March and have a letter confirming the details.
Anyone got any idea which number I should call or who I need to speak to? I can't just 'query a call' on my bill as that would be a time-consuming process for the number of calls I'd have to query.

Ok, I'm a little confused here. There could be more!
Do you mean that you have a bill for landline rental and calls plus a bill for your broadband including home hub phone calls?
If I'm correct, have you been pressing 5 and then the number you want to call using the hub phone other wise you will be billed for phone calls using the hub phone. If I remember correctly the hub phone calls are free at evenings and weekends.

    Most of the people on these forums, including myself, are fellow users - you're not talking to iTunes Support here, we won't know.
    You've checked the purchase history on your account via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes, and have you got any auto-renewing subscriptions ?  If you are in the US then you also need to add on your state's sales tax. If you think that you've been overcharged then you can contact iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption. You may also want to contact your card issuer.

    order coins for a game and much to my suprise,I DO NOt Get the coins but the money is deducted from my account

    I have been overcharged for purchases made with my iPad while playing games. My purchases were for .99 not $10 or more. What can I do to rectify this? I have been sent to more places than I can count! Every place I go I am sent to another URL. Never get to talk to a human being!

    I think I've been overcharged for a call.  Evidence is I placed a call at a rate of $0.025 duration 01:25 cost was $0.110 a second call at the same rate with duration 01:01:54 was charged at $1.59.  How can this be?  
    I have tried to contact Customer Service without success.  I even got as far as the live chat and got a message saying your chat will start in a new window but no new window appeared.  I want to call this person back but not if it's going to cost me more than it should each time.  
    I've been going round in circles trying to contact customer support and it's wasting so much of my time.  How can I contact them?  I need to talk to someone.

    OK, I feel like a dope.  I've just seen what was probably obvious to anyone looking at the duration of the two calls and realise my mistake.  
    However, I would still like to know how to easily contact Customer Support.  There must be a way of speaking to a person on live chat without the run around I've had.  Why was I unable to connect with the live chat?  Anybody know?

    I moved from PlusNet to BT choosing for their Option 1, 10GB Broadband package as that was the service I was on with PlusNet and we NEVER went over the 10GB. This package deal was advertised as the first 3 months free. Since being with BT we have been consistently overcharged up to £55 a month purely on Broadband, we don't even own a phone.
    After we downloaded software on each laptop that monitored our usage we realised we were nowhere near the 40GB BT was suggesting. Despite proving this, trawling through these forums has shown that people with the same problem have been rebuffed by BT as the software is not "official" and they do not recognise it. It makes you start to wonder why BT don't show you your monitored usage like most other major providers and think that just telling you you've used too much is acceptable?
    As with many people there isn't enough time to wait for a reply and I couldn't afford to continually get these extortionate bills, so I upgraded my account to the Option 2, 40GB package. During this time, myself and a housemate went away on holiday for two weeks and a week respectively, so there should have been barely any usage. Wrong. The next bill was £65 with usage of 45GB. If I'd upgraded, why have I been charged so much and how could I have possibly used so much?
    Is there any body else who has similar problems or has managed to resolve anything with BT?

    i have the same problem, i have just joined bt and in my first 3 days i used 11gb!! all i was doing was surfing the net etc, no iplayer or downloading, bt cant offer an explanation other than to change the router password. Ive just checked usuage again and used annother 5gb in 1 week, really dont want to upgrade as il lose my 12 months half price deal, any suggestions?

    Hi everyone,
    Has anyone ever been stuck with the following message when logged into the bill section of MyBT for any length of time:
    "Sorry! We're not able to show your bill and usage details at the moment as the website is undergoing maintenance. Please try again later."
    Since the account was created in June 2013 I have never been able to view the bill. The information for the "My Products" is also incorrect, it shows I only have unlimited weekend calls, even though I upgraded over the phone to free evenings in June 2013.  However, I did recently have TV added, and this has shown up as a "product".
    Before people start thinking this could be a problem at my end, please understand the following: I have another BT account on the same user login, so I can switch between them using the dropdown box and the bill for the other account shows just fine. I have also tried logging in on different computers, on different browsers. I have even gone as far as to create new login's and add my BT account to them, but to no avail.
    I do currently have a ticket open for this but it's been open since mid July! I have shown them screen shots, etc, but they seem unable to do anything which deviates from a simple flowchart. I have been on the phone to BT for hours, which usually ends with the other person demanding I hang up as they cannot sort the problem (I.E. They have no actual problem solving knowledge) and if they don't end the call it will look bad on their metrics! 
    Wow, so if BT cannot solve it, they hang up. This was after the usual "We have reset your line, please wait 24 hours for it to stabilise.", as if this could magically make my bill appear.
    It's a really worry that I have been unable to see what BT are charging me for, there have been a number of other big issues which have mainly been dealt with (E.G. BT creating new accounts for me rather than move my account to new house, double-charging line rental saver, etc). So I have no idea if I am currently being charged the correct amount.

    I sympathize, as I had a lot of trouble trying to set up a localhost server on a Win8 computer. Experienced many false starts. Finally got it working to the extent I could actually work on a WP site locally, but the set up is still weird in that when I uploaded all the new files to make them live, nothing updated. Ended up making all the changes again to the live site.

  • Senior Citizens have been overcharged for approximately 3 years for services that were not used.

    The technician that personally visited the home confirmed, while servicing a technical issue, that the FIOS service sold to the Senior Citizens were not needed and not used. There is no need for the package that has been paid for over the years despite attempts to reduce the monthly bill with customer service. The home has no computers or any other device that needs a internet connection. Please help these seniors that are on a fixed income.

  • I have been overcharged for an Ipod Classic replacement service?

    Yesterday I have applied for the Apples Ipod replacement/repair service. I had confirmation that they had shipped the new replacement out but I have been charged both ($140 - which I agreed to pay for the cost of the service), but also $194 on top of that and had no confirmation on what that payment was for! Is this just a deposit so I will get it back when I ship my broken ipod classic to apple? Please someone respond as I am rather annoyed of this hidden payment. Thanks.

    THERE NO LICENSE. I am paying for a one year membership (paid 10 months and have not add access to creative cloud) So I recently had to request a month trial period which I am currently using. Please explain that?! Can I please have a telephone number for the North Africa Middle East Region so that I can discuss this matter with someone? Why is this so difficult.   • Possible to meet with Customer Service Rep, rather than call?

    We have been overcharged on our bill (ATT Uverse) on so many occasions, and there are so many inaccuracies on the bills submitted, that we need to sit face-to-face with an intelligent customer service representative and go through all the bills for the last 5 months, in order to reach a comprehensive solution.  Calling customer service has not been helpful.  They seem to be looking at different charges and different bills than the ones in front of us, not to mention the incompetency of some of the reps with whom we have been dealing.  I am considering filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau...however, I want to give it one last try, before filing as many complaints as possible.   Is there a way to meet (not call) with a customer service representative, who can go through the hard copy bills with us?  Would going to their corporate office help?

     
    Send a message to the  ATT Customer Care team.  This group has been known to get things done but give them two to three business days to respond.  Be sure to include a detailed message of your issues along with your name and account number.

    When signing up for my internet with Xfinity, I knew I would be slightly overcharged. Understanding the provider's reputation in customers service, I had an idea of what I'd be getting myself into. I am furious in just my first month with comcast. This is my first month living in the house I'm renting, and I'm already getting charged over twice the amount I was expecting. My internet is $34 plus an installation fee, I was looking at around $74 on my first bill. Instead I got a bill over $160!!! It says I have a previous balance of $123. I don't see how this is even possible since this is my first bill. I DONT HAVE A PREVIOUS BALANCE!!!!! I AM READY TO DROP COMCAST. 

    I also have been overcharged. I asked to continue from my previous comcast which was around $47 and have been charged $67. Not as extreme as the previous, but this is still too much. I am trying to find the contact us chat box but am unable to find it. I prefer messaging through there because the phone calls take WAYYYY too long.
