If you use a trackpad and don't want to switch to a mouse, you can uninstall and reinstall all day long and will still have problems, but if you really want to try it, you can download PSE 12 here:

Exactly where are you clicking, you need to be specific. For example, are you using the Dock, the Applications folder, Launchpad, etc. to attempt to start teh app? Also IOS 7.1.2 does not run on a Mac, what version of OS X is installed on your computer?

I am trying to install a trail for InDesign CC to finish a project soon. I downloaded Creative Cloud, the app is in my folder, but it won't open and when I try to download InDesign an error pops up saying Adobe is trying to install malware.

I just installed Creative Cloud in order to download a trial for InDesign. I have the app icon for CC, but it won't open. When it was in my toolbar (on a mac) it just sat there loading for about 15 minutes. I tried restarting it but it won't open at all now. I also tried downloading an InDesign trail and it won't open at all. When I click for it to download an error message pops up saying Adobe is trying to instal malware and asks me if I want to continue. When I say yes, it doesn't do anything. Sydneybling it does sound like your security software is interfering with the process of installing and utilizing your Adobe Creative applications. I would recommend that you try temporarily disabling your security software and utilizing the directions listed at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html to install InDesign CC.

The iTunes and QuickTime symptoms are consistent with another application (other than QuickTime itself) having dropped old Quicktime componentry in your system files.
So just in case we'll go looking for older QuickTime componentry in the most common locations for it to be stashed.
First we'll need to change some view settings.
In your Start menu, open Computer.
In your Organise menu, select Folder Options.
In the View tab, make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is selected, and Hide extensions for known file types is unchecked.
Click OK.
Now in Computer, open your C:\ drive (or whichever drive you have your operating system installed on).
Open the "Windows" folder.
Open the "SysWOW64" folder.
What files and folders can you see in there with QuickTime in the title? (In a standard installation of Quicktime you should be seeing precisely two files... QuickTime.qts and QuickTimeVR.qtx ... and no QuickTime folders whatsoever.)

If you have a rescue email address set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address then go to Express Lane and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
Then select 'iTunes Store', and on the next screen select 'Account Management'
Next choose 'iTunes Store Account Security' and fill in that you'd like your security questions/answers reset.
You should get an email reply within, I think, about 24 to 48 hours (and check your Spam folder as well as your Inbox)

I downloaded Dragon Express and think that it did not completely complete the download. However, it says that it has been installed and my account has been charged 50.00. However, when I click on the icon, it will not open. I have tried everything from restarting, trashing the app, but it continues to tell me that I cna't trash the app because it is open. I called apple support and they worked with me for about 30 minutes until they finally told me that the call had to end regardless of the fact that after all of their efforts, the problem was not resolved. Unfortunately, their case indexing is on a different database, and they will not be able to look up your case number either. However, their support is free, and despite it may take a few bounces of emails back and forth, there is a decent chance they may be able to get a solution.
Or... you can still try to shoot the **** with us here, which is Ok as well. But you'll have to keep in mind we can't look up your case numbers.
By the way, the link for a refund, I think is for the same link I just gave you, so on second though, mabye it's best to just go there.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the files sessionstore.js [2] and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.<br />
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

I can't install. Says I don't have permissions to certain items. It won't update from 4 to 5. I can open 5 from my desktop but it won't update the older version with all the bookmarks.

What else do you want. I drop it in Apllications and it won't update. Say I don't have permission (on my own damn vcompouter) what's with that?

If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

Firefox will not launch - when i double-click the icon it does nothing. But when I go to the task manager in Windows it shows that Firefox is an active process.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
