Import Customer Contact in UCCX dialer automatically

Hi,
How we can import customer contact (ANI, Name etc) to outbound campaign automatically. Exact requirment is, we want to collect customer contact from the CRM and put in a location in a .text file and then this .txt file will be uploaded automatically to a specific campaign.
Another query here is , if this .text file generate frequently lets say 100 no. per hour. Then how dialer will behave ? Will it start dialing after every upload?
Please help.
Thanks,
Muzammel Haque

Hi,
you can use XPATH queries in your script, with the GET XML Document Data step, like this
"/CUSTOMERLIST/CUSTOMER[@DNIS=$customerdnis]/Phone"
where the $customerdnis will be value entered by the customer (?), and the result String of this step will be the Phone value (so you can use it to transfer the call to).
To be quite honest with you, I don't really like the idea of having such an XML-based solution. XML usually works well if the file size is relatively small, but if it starts growing, it just starts eating up more resources. And, if the file is not valid, the whole thing breaks.
Can't you just use SQL?

  • Import Contacts in UCCX Outbound

    Hi,
Whether any mechanism to schedule to read the contacts to be imported for UCCX Outbound instead of importing the contacts list each time manually.
    Please help

The provisioning API introduced with 9.0 is how you'll do it. I don't recall whether contact managment is in the 9.0 revision of the API or is being added in 10 though.

  • Is there any way to import a contact list into the mototalk app

I have the new Mototalk app and I need to import about 350 push to talk contacts into the mototalk contacts. Is there any way that it can be done from a cvs or database file

Moto is ducking the issue and misguiding you, not surprising now that Moto is owned by Google. Apple cannot help you with Motorola's own app.
Moto's information says only that "MOTOTALK automatically imports your contacts to the app" but I can't find anything that says where these contacts will be obtained. If it's not picking up the contacts from your iPhone's Contacts, then I can't guess what they mean. I doubt very much that you'll be able to load contacts from a Mac, but I can't say with certainty.

  • Create a contact that will dial an external conference and enter a pin, using Lync

    Greetings!
    Let me describe a scenario.
On my cellphone, I can create a contact that will dial an external conference number that is not a Lync Meeting, insert a pause (with commas) enter a pin with a # at the end, because that particular conference system asks for pin followed by #.
The phone number for that contact on my phone is   18005551212,,,,1234#
Is there a way to do something similar to a Lync contact? or, as an Outlook contact that will pause and then enter the pin chars?
Well, thanks very much for reading my question!

Landis said no a while back:
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/lync/en-US/794fb7a5-f55e-4ca7-8f2e-d6264d7607f0/lync-conference-id-automatic-dialing?forum=ocsclients
And I don't believe that's changed.  Effectively, the number you typed for the contact isn't what's sent.  That gets normalized into what's sent.  I think the only way to send pauses between DTMF is manually through the dialpad.

  • Syncing contacts with Facebook and contact visualization in dialer

    Hi,
I have spent a lot of time trying to sync and consolidate my contacts from Google and Facebook. I did have a couple of issues however and I am looking for advise.
    1) Contact photo from Facebook are very low res and blurry.
         - Xperia with Facebook account has the both contact & calrendar sync checked, and sync has completed, but no photos are synched.
         - Facebook account has retreived the photo from Facebook, but it is extremely low-res and very blurry.
    2) Is there a way - after linking a google contact to a Facebook one to quickly copy or merge (selected) Facebook contact details (like photo, birthday, phone number, email or address) into the Google contact.
    3) Once I select a phone number as primary is there a way to see in the dialer (using T9 search) only the default phone number. Currenlty I may see a mobile phone from Facebook, another mobile phone from Google, and maybe a couple of other phones, and everytime I search for this contact directly in the dialer I need to remember and choose which number to dial.
So far the only resolution seems to be to switch back to exDialer, which would be a shame since this is my only complaint from the Xperia dialer.
    4) Is there a way to backup the link between the google and facebook contacts? Is there a way to backup which phone number, email or address is default? Both of these are not preserved in google contacts, so everytime I reset or change phones I need to start all over.
I am looking for your advice and best practices and thank you in advance!!

OK, so after spending some time for research here are my findings:
    1) Synching contact pics from Facebook to Android contacts: Facebook and Xperia with Facebook accounts do not work. As a workaround I have used Contacts+ application from the Google Play store, it works as expected.
    2) Merging Facebook contact info (pic, phone number, email, birthday) to google contacts - have not found a way to automate or, best, semi-automate this just yet. Easiest manual option - view a contact, long press the phone/email/birthday, then edit the contact and paste. Will not work for the contact pic though.
    3) Show a single record for the contact in the dialer and remember the default phone - Xperia dialer cannot do this, Contacts+ and exDialer can be used as a replacement though.
    4) Backup the Google to Facebook link  &  the default selection for phone number, email, address in case of a hard reset or transfer between phones - no complete solution found yet, need to review more contact backup apps. At least one can edit the names of the google contacts so that they are spelled as in Facebook to make a future matches quick & more fluent.

  • Import gmail contacts on nokia asha platform 14.0....

    Hello
Yesterday I bought Nokia Asha 503 and updated phone to latest software update by Nokia.
I would like to know how should I import google contacts into my phone.
    Thanks in advance.
    Abhijeet

    Hi jabhijeet,
Welcome to the Nokia Support Discussions!
Your phone doesn't support such functionality, but you can log into your social network accounts on your phone for you to be able to view their contact info.
Another option is to add your contacts manually. To do this, tap People > swipe to contacts and then follow the steps below:
Tap the Add (+) icon .
If you're signed in to several accounts, select the account to which you want to save the contact.
Add the contact details, and tap Save icon. Note that your contacts are backed up automatically to your Microsoft account.

  • Import Outlook contact groups into OSX Mail

Is there any way to automatically import a contact group from Mac Outlook Express5 to Mail? An AppleScript possibly?
The only alternative that I have seen is to copy/paste each individual email address from Outlook to a new group in Mail; one-at-a-time, extremely time consuming for large newsletter lists.
I'm trying to help a friend who has an iBook with OS9 and OS10.3.9.

You can't transfer the groups, you'll need to do it the hard way.
As for the duplicates, how many accounts do you have in your Address Book?

  • HT2513 is it possible to import my contacts into my ical?

is it possible to import my contacts into my ical?

This is NOT what we (most of us) want to do ... We want to have the information from our contact(s) automatically be available in the calendar event. If we "invite" the contact, they get to see and are asked to respond (accept / decline / maybe) ... NOT always something we want. For example, I am going to an event and I want to remember their face (what they look like - maybe I've only met them once awhile ago), their spouses name, children or business profile / items and I don't want them to know I have made this one of my agenda items for the event. If I entered all this including their profile picture in contacts, I certainly don't want to enter it all again AND BTW, iCal doesn't really have the proper fields for this information anyway. Sure I can use the notes section but this is double entry. As you can see from just this one example, I would not want to invite them to this calendar entry. I can think of many other instances where that would be problematical (to say the leasat) as well.
It is really incomprehansible that contact, iCal and even mail does not have at least this level of integration.

    Hi
1.The Action 'Update Value' is availble under Triger Event-'Before Modified Record Saved'.
I am not sure why you have to pay for "Assign a Book action". Thats out of the box functionality.
    2. Yes, SR status is a read only picklist. One workaround I can think of is to create a Custom field for Status. Then run a WF to sync the values of the Custom Status field with the Original Status field (particuluarly the Open and close values. That will maintain the integrity of all the SR matrices).

  • Webform Customer Contact field only adds email

    Hi,
Our customers enter their information via a webform which automatically adds them to our CRM and creates a new case. Yay! Great and easy function.
Here's the thing though, the customer also enters their Cell Phone as a mandatory field in our webform, however the record is not entered into the customer contact field and only their email address is added.
    Can anyone help?

    Hey there,
At a guess you made a custom field for the cell phone number which will only go into the case. In the form builder you should select and use the cell phone number field, not a custom field. This will then go into the CRM entry.
If you feel you have done that you need to ensure you have not renamed the input field name paramater as it needs to he the same as what it spits out in the system so it knows where to store it.
If that is ok then it could be that you have changed the ID etc or changed the form to break the javascript of the form so people are leaving it blank and the script to run it is not working.

  • Import custom declaration

    Hello,
Is it possible to create import custom declarations from purchase orders (duplicated from feeder system) without inbound deliveries? We did not implment the inbound delivery function in R3. From what i read, it seems that I can create the worklist for customs declarations prior to goods receipt directly from purchase orders.
    Please help.
    Thanks,
    Wen

We have maintianed Tariff code as required. I can see the entry of Tariff code  by taking the GUID CTSNUMC from table  /SAPSLL/PRCTSC  and putting it in the table /SAPSLL/CTSNUMC .
When we click the ?  mark it populates but not automatically.
When you say product master i believe you referring to table /SAPSLL/PRCTSC   as the data element (/SAPSLL/CCNGN) you mentioned is present in this table.
    Kind Regards,
    Sameer

  • Profile notifications and customizing contacts

    Hi Everyone,
I hope someone can help me with following issues:
    1. When I change ringtone, volume vibration and LED settings (on or off) on one of the profiles, it automatically changes on the other profiles as well. I simply cannot set different ringtones and other settings
for different profiles, which is really odd.
    2. When I'm customizing contact, there is no "silent" mode for the phone or for the messages.

    Hey ssarkissov,
Welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.
Changes that are made to notifications are globally to all all modes, each mode can not be customized. Currently when customizing a contact you cannot set the volume for this contact to silent.
Let me know if you have any questions.
    Thank you.

My phone dials automatic calls, shuffles applications, starts SIRI/ voice control.. What is the solution

Hard to say for sure but i'm afraid i don't think that you'll find a solution for this while having a password on your phone.
I just tested here with my SmartWatch 2 and i can browse my contacts and place a call using my SmartWatch 2 without entering my PIN so that works.
