Incident Resolution - Resolution Category set to required

I am attempting to set the Incident Resolution category field to required, or to assign a different Incident Resolution list based on Template used. Is this possible?

    I've had the problem too... for at least a month or more. It would happen when logging into yahoo mail. But it happens only with firefox... not explorer. I contacted yahoo and he had me first disable add ons... no change... and since it didn't happen with explorer, they said to contact firefox. So I followed the advice of cor-el's post (on this page) and made the text on my page smaller... It did fix the issue.... but, I liked the size of the text the way I had it. So, how do I get it back to that size, and not have that annoying message any longer? thanks!!

  • Oracle Inventory: How to change default category set of items

    Hi,
    We have a requirement where we need to change the default category set of functional area inventory in oracle as we are importing new items into inventory whihc need to be assigned to a new default category set.There is an existing default categpory set for this area.
    As far as i understand once a default category has been set up and an item has been defined, the only way to change the default category set for a given functional area is to update all items with the new default category set before updating the default category set/functional area relationship.
    How exactly do we update the defaul category set for an existing item and change it to a new one. Since we have close to 15K items what is the best way to do this.Is there ay API available?

    The fix given in this document is to allign all the exisitng items to a category set (purchasing in this case). This is exactly what my doubt is. How to assign 15k items to a different category set. If i am able to allign these items i can change the default category of the functional area.

Also, iTunes was playing music, I don't use iTunes when I'm working. Both were not on before I left for the break.
    What is the problem?

  • Step-by-step process of grouping Items in Category Sets and more accurately into the correct Category

    Honestly, I have never had a customer ask me 'how' do I identify which Items go together in a specific category.  I am thinking I start with the Functional Area (Inv, PO, OM, WM, etc..) attributes, and start the grouping there.  The customer is asking for "best practices" - any input would be appreciated.
    I have a fresh install of Oracle Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, Service - We have 2,000,000 part numbers.
    How have you instructed your customers/clients (both Internal and External) in the PROCESS of categorizing all of their Items?
    What is the Step-by-step process of grouping those 2MM items into accurate Category Sets and more accurately into the most correct Category.
    I would 'assume' it would start with some analysis with all the Items listed with all the item attributes, and start with ECCN (for example) or Item Type grouping. Then...(?)

    Hi Kate,
    You are not on the right track; MD14 and 15 will choose the PLANNED ORDER population for the conversion. In planned orders there's NO PURCHASING ORGANIZATION DATA (normally)!
    So even if you managed to put the field on the screen, it will not do anything that makes sense.

    Go to Settings>Safari and Clear History, Cookies and Data
    Also go to Settings>Safari>AutoFill and Make sure that Names and Passwords are OFF and Clear All.

    My requirement is to validate an xml with two different validation strategies. In strategy 1, the xml is required to have several instances of an element with certain required attributes. In strategy 2, the xml is required to have several instances of the same element with different required attributes. So, the idea is that there are two different sets of the same element with different set of required attributes for each set. Is there a way to validate this with using only one xsd. My only solution so far is to use two different xsd files to validate. Thank you.

  • Suddenly my 4 hour setting for requiring password is being ignored. Why?

    My display on my MacBook Pro sleeps after 10 minutes. But I have had it set do I don't have keep re-entering the password each time. And I also have it set to never sleep when the lid is open.
    My Security & Privacy settings are set to require a password 4 hours after sleep or screen saver begins.
    But over the past week every time the display sleeps I have to enter my password again to log back in. Why?

    That's something I never would have figured out on my own, that parent paths are a web server setting. The issue does only apply to the ASP includes, not any of the CSS files. I will have to call the web host to see how the server is actually configured. I will also do some testing just out of curiosity if these automatically inserted includes - even the one to the Connections folder are goverened by the site setting where you choose to use root or document relative links.
    I've always set my sites to document relative - but is one way better than the other or is it just a preference?
    The CC Desktop app is a weird duck. It took some doing to even get the Filters and Versions menu to display - but I'm now downloading DW CS6. I wasn't sure if this list was dependent on what I had had previously installed or not. The menu also didn't seem to display until after I checked Keep CC Manager up to date in preferences - but this could be just that I didn't see the menu before - it showed up to the left of the button area, and my eyesight is very narrow so I could have just not seen it.

    I guess, it should work; instead of html:submit, try with button.

    Oracle forms - if a field is set to required, and it is null, why can I tab passed it, if the database column is null able, will this influence the behaviour of Forms?

  • Trying to assign multiple category sets to an item

    Trying to assign multiple category sets to an item-- i created a new category set and went to set it as the default set for Order Management. Receiving this error:
    category set is defined with Multiple Category Assignment flag set to yes. Order Managment functional area can be assigned only category sets having Multiple Category Assignment flag set to No.
    Is this a setting that I can change??

    If the item is in transit, I'm not certain there is a way that you can do this. It will be delivered to the person at address that is on the postage label. If there is Signature Confirmation selected on the parcel, it might be held somewhere until you pick it up, though. Since you are registered to ebay in Australia, it might be best if you contact Australia Post with this question. We can only answer with our experience in dealing with Canada Post and the couriers here. And do be sure to update your addresses with both ebay and paypal to prevent this from happening in future. Best of luck to you as you carry forward.  Sorry, that is assuming you are the receiver and not the seller.

    In DAC we are shown the inventory and product category set id as $$INV_PROD_CAT_SET_ID ..... $$INV_PROD_CAT_SET_ID9 and $$PROD_CAT_SET_ID ...... $$PROD_CAT_SET_ID9. I have done setups previously where the $$INV_PROD_CAT_SET_ID and $$PROD_CAT_SET_ID has been my first category and $$INV_PROD_CAT_SET_ID9 and $$PROD_CAT_SET_ID9 has been my 10th category.
    Is this the correct way to setup the 10 out of the box supported product category?
    A colleague of mine told me that the $$PROD_CAT_SET_ID and $$INV_PROD_CAT_SET_ID is obsolete from 7.9.5 . If that is the case then where do we configure the 10th category?
    Kindly advise.

    We have around 9000 items in MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_B and now we have created a new category and category sets in Oracle inventory categories windows.
    Is there any standard/seeded API, concurrent program that assigns these new categories to items in item master?

    You can load records into the mtl_item_categories_interface and run the "Item Category Assignment Open Interface" concurrent program.
    OR you can use the INV_ITEM_CATEGORY_PUB.Create_Category api.
