InDesign Crashes on opening specific documents

Question

So when I open specific documents with InDesign it freezes, when I use task manager to close it I get the following error message:

Unfortunately the Windows report doesn't offer anything terribly useful for us here.
I suspect this is some sort of configuration conflict rather than a file problem, though. Do you have another system you can try to open the files with? If not I'd be willing to try one here to see if it will open.
