Hi,
This is not possible in std.
You can develop an enhancement to display a pop-up of diff. BOM versions while you click on Explode BOM in PO and select the required version.
We had similar reqt and this is how we did.

  • Multiple JDev versions problem

I am working on BPEL in 10.1.2.0.0. However, I am getting Application Module generation errors in this version. Until these errors started, I was doing both J2EE and BPEL in this version.
The fix that was suggested was to go to 10.1.2.1.0.
However, BPEL is not in the new version. That means I have maintain three versions
    1. 10.1.2.0.0 - for BPEL projects
    2. 10.1.2.1.0 - for J2EE projects
    3. 9.0.3.5 - for Oracle 11i OA Framework projects.
Is there a timeline when all these will converge or do I have to continue suffering multiple versions of JDeveloper?
    Dasu

you install the new version in a new directory.
When you first start it up it will ask you if you want to migrate and will lead you through the process.
(make sure to have a backup of your projects before you upgrade).
In 10.1.3 BPEL will come as an extension to JDeveloper - so you will not need two JDeveloper versions.

  • Unable to link a Document Info Record to BOM

    Hi SAP Consultants,
We are in the process of linking DMS with BOM in SAP 4.7.
While Creating a DIR in CV01n we are unable to link a BOM  because when we click the Object links tab it is displaying the following message:
<b>Object link to STKO_DOC cannot be changed in this transaction</b>
We also tried on the Other side. We created a BOM and linked a document to that. While opening that Document in CV03N, we are unable to view the linked BOM and gives the error same error.
Kindly provide the support for the above issues.

    Hi
Did you check in the configuration under cross applications and DMS whether the object link to BOM is created and complete.
Mostly that should solve the issue. When you create a document using cv01n you should be able link to BOM.
MY guess is there is something wrong in the customization area
    Hope it helps
    Cheers

  • Non-Stock Info Record

    Hello,
I want to create a non-stock info record for a vendor to specify information like days for reminder, to get this into my POs.
I created an info record for a vendor without a material, entered the material group and specified the data.
When I create a PO this data is not pulled out of the info record, unless I enter the info record number manually. Why does SAP not determine the info record automatically?
Another problem is that I have to populate some mandatory fields like order unit or planned delivery time in the info record. This data should not come from the info record.
    Thanks for any help.
    Tobias

    Thank you for your help.
I want to store 'reminder days' for vendors which supply us with materials we do not have a material master for (mainly MRO material). This data should be pulled into each new PO so I do not have to enter it manually each time.
When I create such an info record I have to enter the material group. I thought SAP uses the vendor/material group combination to determine the info record.
Maybe there is another way to do this.
P.S. I tried it again with the correct purchasing group but it does not work...

  • Import multiple info records for 1 material item in repository

    Hi Guys,
I have got sort of a puzzle I can not solve at the moment, maybe some one can help me to solve it. The situation in our system landscape is as follows:
    Systems:
    SRM 5.0 (Classic implementation scenario)
    ECC 6.0
    SRM-MDM 2.0
    PI 2005
Material master is maintained in R/3 and the materials are replicated to SRM. From SRM we replicate all materials to the catalog repository in SRM-MDM.
As the material master in R/3 is vendor independent, the materials replicated to SRM also have no vendor attached. For the first initial material replication from SRM to the catalog SRM-MDM this also means that the products in the main table of the repository, u2018catalog positionsu2019, will not have a vendor or vendor number attached (i.e. no reference to a source of supply).
To assign a source of supply in the repository to a product (record) we will use info records which are replicated from R/3 to SRM-MDM. The mapping for this in the Import Manager can only be based on the product number. As this is the only unique value available which can map a info record to a already existing (but vendor less) ptoduct item in the catalog.
As long as every item in the repository has only one unique info record, meaning one source of supply with a specific price, there is no issue in the above scenario. Based on the product-id, the info record data will be matched with the material item in the catalog.
The issue for me arises when multiple info records exists for the same material. The info records can heave different vendors and different prices. All possible vendors should be available in the catalog for the same material (at least this is the requirement ).
At this point the product-id will no longer be an unique value. Importing the info records will cause problems, as only one material record is available in the repository for the specific product-id (remember that when doing a initial replication of the material master to the catalog, no vendor data is replicated).
Does anyone had this issue before, and knows a solution? Is it for example possible during the import of the info records in the Import manager, to duplicate material records in the destination data, based on the number of info records available in the source data for the same product-id. Or is there an other solution that I am missing?
    Your help would be appreciated!
    Regards,
    Skander

    Hi Shai & Ravi,
Thanks for your answers. The MDM version which we are using is 5.5 - currently on SP6
@ Shai: you are right; the standard SRM-MDM 2.0 catalog repository has a qualified lookup table u2018priceu2019, in which itu2019s possible to store the info record data. The standard fields in this sub-table are: Purchase Org, Amount, Currency Lower B, PIR-ID, price based quantity and Price based quantity UoM.
I added some extra fields (non qualified), to accompany the remaining info record data (product no. u2013 vendor id  u2013 product category)  which is exported/imported, via the standard extraction program in R/3: Tcode MECCM
I tried the solution Ravi proposed. This scenario works fine when, for example you want to maintain multiple info records for one specific material record in the main table (all info records related to the same source of supply, i.e. vendor). But as I described, the info records we import for one product can have different vendors.
The source of supply (vendor) in the shopping cart of SRM is determined via the u2018supplieru2019 field in the main repository table (which is in itself a flat lookup table ). What happens now is that all related info records are added to the u2018price informationu2019 field of the specific product record in the main table. Thus info records which have different suppliers are attached to a record in the main table which will have one specific supplier in the u2018supplieru2019 field. So from my point of view this will not work.
I am still stuck with the situation that the material master import will only import one record for every distinct product, which can have multiple info records. The info records can/will have different vendors. As the supplier field in the main table determines the source of supply in the shopping cartu2026. Iu2019am seeking for a solution which will duplicate the material records in the main table, based on the amount of imported info records for that specific material record, that have distinct vendors.
Shai, if you have some useful info on how you accomplished this requirement on a previous version of SRM-MDM, it would be greatly appreciated if you can share it..
    Thx.

  • Costing - Multiple Production Versions and Recursive BoMs

    Hi All,
We have a production and product costing scenario as follows:
Production versions 10, 20 and 30. It takes all three versions to manufacture the finished material and there are no intermediate products in this scenario. 10 and 30 are to be costed and 30 is a recursive BoM with the input from version 10 also being the output. 10 is the main production step with components but 30 is a recursive BoM sometimes only with the output material as the input and sometimes with a more complete BoM but which includes the output material as an input component.
The quantity input appears to be the same as quantity output for the recursive element.
If anyone has come across this scenario and you can let me know what design principles you followed I would appreciate it.
We are getting iteration error messages when costing production version 30 and even reducing the input quantity below 95% of the input as per the SAP documentation does not fix the error message.
Any help you can give will be greatefully received.
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Tim

Murali - Its possible to use multiple PV in sub contracting.
    Settings in ERP :
    1. In CFC9 activate the - Transfer multiple selection of PDS indicator. When you select this indicator, the system allows you to select several productions versions in the integration model; it also creates a Production Process Model (PPM) or Production Data Structure (PDS) for each production version in SAP SCM
    2. Assign the PV's to the subcontracting info record through -  Logistics  - Central Functions  - Supply Chain Planning Interface - Core Interface - Advanced Planner and Optimizer - Environment  - Data Transfer  -Assign Multiple Production Versions
    3. When you select the integration model parameters for PDS, you have selected PP/DS Subcontracting as the PDS Type value. Similarly, for PPM, you have selected Subcontracting PPM as the Type of PPM value.
Subcontracting with multiple production versions is supported. However, the integration with an SAP ERP system requires at least SAP ERP 2005 with Enhancement Pack 03.

  • Multiple Consigned Info-record Based on MPN

    Hi All,
We have an MPN Profile that has a setting of - MPN Mandatory & Info Records for MPN. This MPN Profile is assigned into an Internal Material which will be managed with our Inventory.
We have multiple MPNs from a Single Vendor with different price and that is created separately in the Info-Record.
When the PO is created with the MPN, it is working fine by selecting the Internal Material and I am able to do GR for that PO which comes in Stock as Internal Material.
However, my problem is that I am not able to create a K-Type PO for those MPN, as system prompts error messages like MPN008 => "Consignment and MPN mat. only possible in case of info recs. for IM mat."
I have gone through the SAP Help and it is also mentioned as a NOTE in there : If you are working with consignment info records, you must create the info records for your firm’s own material. Reason: in the case of goods issues involving consignment materials, the system searches for the info records for the firm’s own, inventory-managed materials and does not take MPN materials into account.
I have a question now => Does SAP allow the Consigned Process to be practiced for MPN Materials?
    Any suggestion/idea/solution is most welcome!
    Regards,

    Hi Rahul,
    Thanks again for your reply!
I did the way you suggested and I was able to create Consigned POs for the MPN. However, my problem is still un-resolved, as you can see the problem from the following process steps.
    1) GR for the Consigned PO is done and now the IM Material is in the Vendor Consigned Stock.
    2) I have pulled the Quantity via Tcode MB1B/411-K.
    3) When I run the MRKO (Vendor Liability Settlement), system took the Consigned Info-record of the IM Material (which is only 1).
_Problem:_ System while doing MRKO, is not considering the MPN Inforecord, as I am not able to create Consign Info Record for MPN Materials.
If you are not clear about my scenario, I can explain in detail.

  • Version Document Info Record and File Management

    Hi all!
want to edit DMS document info records (as in cv04n - add, del files) without deleting original DIR -> Version management of DIRs.
I use the following BAPI scenario:
    - BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETACTVERSION (get the highest version of a DIR)
    - BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETDETAIL2 (to get the object links of the DIR)
    - BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATENEWVRS2 (create a new version of the DIR, copyoriginals = X, object links are copied as well)
    - again BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETACTVERSION (get this new version number)
    - again BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETDETAIL2 to get the files of the new version DIR)
    - to delete single files, i change the file record of the files table ( set deletevalue = X).
    - then BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE2  as suggested in a nother thread of mine by 2 community members.
the latest step runs for version = 00, but when having a version gt 00, the bapi_document_change2 returns : "original is already checked in and stored".
also i checked the ph_objid and lo_objid (the ids are the same for Version n and n+1), which might be the reason for the error mentioned above.
    i can't find any solution.
    thanks for replies in advance,
    Christoph

    Hi all!
got the solution: - finally !!!
    Problem:
you want to edit Document info records - using a new version of this DIR. in the new version it is possible to add and delete files.
    Solution:
    - CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETACTVERSION'
and get the actual hightest version of the DIR
    - ls_objtype-OBJECTTYPE = '*'.
append ls_objtype to myobjectlinks. to be able to copy all the objectlinks of the DIR.
    - lv_dokvr_new = lv_dokvr_ref + 1. - increment the DIR version number
    - CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATENEWVRS2 to create a new version of the DIR.
    - * get again the actual version
    CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETACTVERSION'
    - * get files of the new version
    CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETDETAIL2'
    - * set the delete flag for those you want to delete in the table documentfiles.
    - CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE2'
    IMPORTANT ***
    !!! transfer O N L Y the files you want to delete O R transfer all files but C L E A R the STORAGE_CATEGORY field !!!
any questions? feel free to ask...

  • Multiple Material Numbers to use one Info Record

I have several material numbers that I have recently set up as Subcontracting special procurement. All of these numbers use one quote from our vendor. How do I assign multiple numbers to a single info record?
    Thanks for your assistance!!

SAP knows 2 kind of subcontracting scenarios, a purchasing route and a production route.
in the purchasing subcontract scenario you order the finished material with item category L, you can see the components in the purchase order and you consume the components when you post the goods receipt to  this purchase order.
in the production route, you create production orders to "manufacture" the finished and to consume the components, the purchase order is only to procure the service. you do goods receipt and cosumption in reference to the production order, and you do a goods receipt for the service in reference to the purchase order.
if the info record is without material number, then you cannot have a permanent  link to a material if you use the purchasing route.
Usually SAP will propose the info record as source when you assign and process requisitions in ME57. I doupt that SAP will propose info records without material number for requisition with material number. so the only chance to assign such info record to a PO to get the price defaulted would be manual entry of info record number in ME21N (F4 search help is available)
in the production subcontracting process you can enter the info record number in the recipe, so you can establish a permanent link in master data. So SAP exactly knows which info record price to pull for the service orders. and in this process you can enter one info record number in several recipes.

  • Info records with multiple vendors

    Hello all,
I have some info records defined for multiple vendors for subcontracting material numbers. How do I tell SAP to use a specific vendor by default when it creates the Purchase Requisition?
    Thanks in advance for information.

    Hi,
If you have maintained source list(ME01) and "info record"(ME11) for the desired vendor and material combination and MRP indicator as 1 . It will default as "fixed vendor" in PR when you run MRP. Of course when you copy PR into PO, it is going to copy the same.
if you want to create Subcontract PR ...you have to use special procurement key 30 for that material.
    Hope it helps you.

  • Problem in Purchase info Record

    Hi All,
When i try to put price in the inforecrd, it gives the Error that "Not possible to determine a condition type for the price"
    What does it mean...
I have used P000 condition type in my Pricing for gross price...
    is this affecting this?
And also, If i try to go in to Conditions in PIR it is not allowing me to go inside the conditions where we can maintain the scales for the prices.
This is only happening in the info record of foreign vendors. My pricing for imported contains condition type P000 as gross price.
    Pls help...
    Regards,
    Puneeth

    Hi ,
I believe we are maintaining the condition type PB00 for the price in PIR.
So use PB00 and your problem get resolved.
    Hope this helps.

  • Problem with  Creating Info Record

    Hello Gurus,
I've problem with Creating Info Record
i tried to create info record for Plant Specific/Purchase Org
The first Screen General Data is OK
i entered all the data in the next screen ie
Purchase Organization Data screen but i'm getting error
<b>Make an entry in all required fields</b>
but there is Mandatory Textbox ie "VALID TO" which im unable to select Bcos its Disabled
    pls help me regarding this
    thanks in advance

    Hi
Have u given the net price. <b>VALID TO</b> is the date until which the price shown in the info record is valid.
If there is no price that is valid on the current date, the last-valid price is displayed and the date field contains the day before the start of the next validity period (this may be 12.31.9999 if there is no further validity date). If all validit periods lie beyond the current date, the price of the next period is displayed. The date field then contains the end date of this period.
These validity periods we will maintain Purchse data CONDITIONS while creating info record. Check the validity period for the conditions.
    Hope this will helps u
