Input Lov value is not retaining in table rows

Hi
I have a table with three columns out of which one is input lov component. And the table has Add Row button at the top which creates a new row (CreateInsert Operation) when click on that.
Now in the new row i have selected a value from the lov and again click on Add Row button. Now the new row is created but the selected value in the old row has been erased. Can you please tell how to resolve this?
Thanks
Satya

try binding you UI table in backing bean and put your backing bean in backingBeanScope.
JSFF table binding:
binding="#{backingBeanScope.<backingBeanName>.resultsTable}"
Backing Bean:
private RichTable resultsTable;
generate setter and getter for that.

  • Lov Values are not showing for Discoverer Reports in Application

    Hi,
    I developed some discoverer reports, those reports having parameters with LOV. Those LOV values are showing in Discoverer Desktop, but after registering those reports in Oracle applications those LOV values are not showing. Pls let me know how resolve this issue.
    Regards,
    Hanimi.

    Hi,
    Also it is necessary to know how the LOVs are defined. Are they based on Application flexvalues for example? In which case it may be that you have not got your NLS language parameters set correctly when connecting from Applications.

  • Variables/Input Parameters Value help not showing texts

    Hello,
    I have created a crystal report based on a calculation view in Crystal Reports for Enterprise 4.1 SP5, which has a input parameter on the field "Region". For the value help, I am using a custom view based on T005U in which I have made sure that RegionName field is present in the "Label Column" property of the Region field.(Required for viewing descriptions of LOVs).
    In the crystal report, while previewing data in the query builder, I am able to see the value help for the input parameter in the prompt screen, which displays only the key part, but does not display the description of it. Moreover, after accepting the prompt value, the preview runs into an error(as shown below). Please note that I get the error below only when Region is a part of the output fields of the query.
    Instead of input parameter, when I create a variable on the region field in the main calculation view, with the same value help view, I am able to do data preview in the query builder as also data appears in the report on running the query. But, just as in the case of input parameter value help in the prompt screen, even over here, I am only able to see the key part and not the description.
    Are variables/input parameter LOV's supposed to display descriptions or just the key part? As also, any reason why I should be getting this error while using Input parameter?
    Kindly let me know if I am missing something in the development of this report.
    Regards,
    Alston

    Hi,
              I hope you are taking the BEx Query as a source to the crystal report. In the BEx query check region info object  should is maintained as  Text and Key. If text is not maintained over there you will not be getting text in Crystal reports.

  • MIGO- Goods Issue- Order, the value is not written into Table COSP

    Hi,
      We make a substitution of wbs element of line item( BSEG-PROJK ). The wbs filed will be filled automatically when the user input a cost center or a order number.
    But we found some inconsistency in standard report S_ALR_87013558 OR CJI3.
    The following is what we have done:
    In Tcode F-02, we enter a order(e.g. A), then the WBS Element is filled automatically. when we post the document, and go to Standard report: S_ALR_87013558,
    we can see the amount in the report.
    In MIGO, we make a goods issue by order(e.g. A. Movement type is 261) , when we post, Material Document and Accounting document and Controlling document , but in report S_ALR_87013558 or CJI3. the amount is wrong, we can not see the amount we have done in MIGO.
    The movement type 201 is also wrong, the value is also not written into tabl cosp.
    But GI for project-movement type 221, the value is written into table cosp.
    Can you tell me this is wrong or right? if right, why? if wrong, how can i correct it, i need some customizing or others? or my substitution affect the result?
    Best Regards

    Sorry, not reply these days.
    And very thanks for all your replies.
    I am a abaper, not familiar with the business.
    The business consultant want to control budget, control cost.
    At first, he let me do a substibution in FI line item of besg-projk(WBS Element), when we he test the substitution in TCode F-02, the WBS field is filled automatically as per G/L account and Cost Center or as per G/L Account and Order, and then in Standard Report 'S_ALR_87013558', we can see the changes of the cost.
    But when biz consultant do a MIGO->Goods Issue by order, we can not see the changes of the cost,but the value of WBS in FI Accounting Document is substituted correctly.
    And if we enter the WBS manually when we do a MIGO->Goods Issue by order, we can see the changes of the report 'S_ALR_87013558'.
    In the original post, i was wrong, when we do a goods issue with movement type 201, the result is the same as 261, also we cant see the changes. but if we enter the wbs manually(movement type 201),the changes is write to COSP table.
    The solution about the original requirement is right or wrong?
    Thank You All.

  • Gr/ir slip field value is not stored in table mkpf..!!

    dear sap gurus,
        i have a typical problem.. i am doing Transfer posting from one storage location to another. using MB1B with 311 mov type.. and mentioning some values in the gr/ir slip field.. but system is not storing the value in table..
    Can any one say how to solve this.. if i use MIGO_TR then its storinghte value i mentioned in MKPF table..
    Regard,
    Manu

    Hi Manu,
    This GR/GI slip number has only been designed for use in those countries (for example, Italy) whose legislation requires specification of this number for goods that leave the plant and are transported on public roads. In other countries, the material document number printed on the GR/GI slip (in the standard system) is usually sufficient. To enter external  documents, you can use the field Material slip or Delivery note.
    If still wants to use this field you are required make relevent settings in config.
    Please go to transaction OMC1.
    There you will find 4 push buttons.
       1. Activation of GR/IR slip for plant.
       2. Number range grouping code.
       3. Intervals for number range.
       4. Object(here you are assigning the number range for the plant,  storage location and movement type.
    This will allow you to store GR/IR slip number in MKPF with trx. MB1B

    I Have Windows XP and I use Microsoft Word to make a copy of my bank transactions. With IE the copy/paste always retains the table format. With FF it prints out as a continuing line.

  • SSIS-How to pass multiple value to stored procedure from table row one by one using ssis package??

    I want to execute a stored procedure using ssis.But the problem  I am having is that there is a table with 200 rows with only
    single column.Now i want to execute stored procedure using value one by one from table .once the stored procedure is executed with top value from table i also want to delete that topmost column value and execute with next table value.and store the result in
    text file.
    please help me..or provide a package.

    If you want to do it in SSIS, a way to do this is by using For Each Loop as mentioned above.
    Create 1 OBJECT type variable (list of values) and one STRING type variable (one value at a time)
    Use EXE SQL Task with ResultSet = FULL RESULT SET and query = SELECT COL FROM TABLE ORDER BY COL ASC...output this to the OBJECT type variable
    Next, a For Each loop container with Foreach ADO Enumerator, ADO object source variable = Object type variable and map that to String type variable with index = 0.
    Within your for each loop container, select another EXEC SQL Task and pass in an input parameter (the String type variable) and query = EXEC PROC ? -- WHERE ? = String type variable.
    This will execute your store procedure just for that one value out of the whole list.
    Now within the same For Each loop, select another EXEC SQL Task and again pass in an input parameter (the same String type variable) and query = DELETE FROM TABLE WHERE COL = ? -- WHERE ? = the current value
    The above process should A) get the list of values from the table B) pick one value at a time and execute the proc and delete and right after delete that value from the table.
    Hope this helps.
    -- some further investigation/tweaking may require but it should help you get started.

  • ADF:LOV declarative component not working inside table component.

    Hi,
    I have created a custome LOV control,I am using this custom LOV control inside the table component,I am passing the below values as the parameter
    KeyValue="#{row.bindings.Value.inputValue}"
    LovModel="#{row.bindings.Value.listOfValuesModel}"
    Value- is the list of value attribute.
    When i click on the LOV search icon, the popup displays the Query model(it displays the list name at the top in the search page.so it is able to recognise the LOVmodel) but it is not able to retrive the list values.I am getting Query page with no values
    in the jspx page it is giving warning as "reference not found for row.bindings.Value.listOfValuesModel"
    Please can anyone help me on this?
    Thanks,
    Harish

    Hi Frank,
    below is my actual requirement and the solution i tried till now.
    I have a table and it has two columns let’s say “Columns” and “Values”. The first column i.e. “Columns” will be a dropdown and it will have predefined values, the other column “Values” will be a “List of value” control or similar kind of control in which the user can search and select multiple values from the popup list, and that list should dynamically bounded to the first column selected value.
    For Ex: if I select a value “Product” from the dropdown of the first column “Columns” , the control in the other column “Values” should bound to “product” list and I should be able to search and select multiple values from the pop up. And the popup should return the multiple selected values as a comma separated string to the textbox.
    In my requirement I have to use only VO’s to create the list and the control in the “Values” column should switch between these VO’s depending on the value selected in the first column.
    The solution we tried till now.
    I used a LOV switcher to achieve the above requirement. But we have a limitation in this approach as we could not do the multi select. Then we created a declarative LOV component in which we can select multiple values as a comma separated string from the popup.
    I retained the LOV switch model , instead of binding LOV switch model to the basic “Input List of Value” control in the JSPX page ,I used the LOV declarative component. Below is the code snippet which calls the declarative LOV component from JSPX page.
    <af:panelFormLayout id="pfl2">
    <af:selectOneChoice value="#{bindings.Columns.inputValue}"
    label="#{bindings.Columns.label}"
    required="#{bindings.Columns.hints.mandatory}"
    shortDesc="#{bindings.Columns.hints.tooltip}"
    id="soc3" autoSubmit="true">
    <f:selectItems value="#{bindings.Columns.items}" id="si5"/>
    </af:selectOneChoice>
    <mc:OraMultiSelect
    KeyValue="#{bindings.Value.inputValue}"
    LovModel="#{bindings.Value.listOfValuesModel}"
    id="oms2"/>
    </af:panelFormLayout>
    Where Value attribute is having LOVModel.
    The above code perfectly fine as I used it inside the “Form layout” and with the parameters passed as KeyValue="#{bindings.Value.inputValue}"
    LovModel="#{bindings.Value.listOfValuesModel}"
    The problem I am facing:
    The actual problem comes when I use this control inside the table which I required in my implementation.
    I called the declarative LOV control as shown below inside the table as I used to call the basic “Input List of value” control which works fine inside the table.
    . <af:column sortProperty="Value" sortable="false"
    headerText="#{bindings.OpPlanning1.hints.Value.label}"
    id="c1" width="133">
    <mc:OraMultiSelect KeyValue="#{row.bindings.Value.inputValue}"
    LovModel="#{row.bindings.Value.listOfValuesModel}"
    id="oms1"/>
    </af:column>
    Above code doesn’t works fine when I select value from the “Column” dropdown it displays the corresponding list model in the pop up but not able to retrieve the value of the list in the popup .
    If I pass the parameters as
    . <af:column sortProperty="Value" sortable="false"
    headerText="#{bindings.OpPlanning1.hints.Value.label}"
    id="c1" width="133">
    <mc:OraMultiSelect KeyValue="#{bindings.Value.inputValue}" --instead of ="#{row.bindings.Value.inputValue}"
    LovModel="#{bindings.Value.listOfValuesModel}"--}" --instead of ="#{row.bindings.Value.inputValue}"
    id="oms1"/>
    </af:column>
    It works fine for the first row.The subsequent rows refers the value selected in the first row dropdown.
    Thanks For the help,
    Harish

    Questions:-
    1) when we are submitting values to form it is not stored into backend (Oracle 9i)
    2) please send some source code for how to fetch values from backend and wants stored into Combo box /select Box
    3) We have faced problem of How call methods of Bean program into JSP programs

    The code to get the values from the database and store them in the combo box or select box would be as follows:
    <%
    zSQL = "select id, name from Users"
    rs = Con.ExecuteQuery(zSQL);
    if(!rs.next()) {
    %>
    <select name="id">
    <option value="0">select the name</option>
    <%
    do {
    %>
    <option value="<%= rs.getString(1) %>"><%= rs.getString(2) %></option>
    <%
    while (rs.next());
    %>
    </select>
    <%
    else {
    out.println("No Record Found");
    %>
    This would help you better.
    and for your first question, please check whether u are able to connect database with your connection method. if you are able to connect to the database, then please check the values (print them on the browser) which are posted from form, if it is also correct then check you r insert statement.
    and for your last question the best tutorial is JAVA API.
    Cheers!

  • RFC model values are not shown in table

    Hi there,
    I can't gather the values from the RFC FM in my table, while this has been done exactly the same way as other tables which do get values... Any reason for this?
    I have 2 DC's:
    -data DC which acts as a container for the RFC-imported datamodels
    -bupa DC in which the implementation is done
    Custom Controller CuCoMain (from bupa DC):
    Context:
    OutputRelContacts (model node bound to model BuPaRelationsModel.__Crm_Bb_Bupa_Rels_Output)
    cardinality: 0...n; selection: 0...1
    > Rel_Contacts_Result (node of OutputRelContacts)
    => bound to BuPaRelationsModel.__Crm_Bb_Bp_Rel_Res_Ds
    cardinality: 0..n; selection: 0...1
    There is no context input necessary since 'related contacts' is dependent of the bpnr which I pass as parameter (see below).
    Implementation in CuCoMain
    public void TriggerAccConSearch( java.lang.String Mode, java.lang.String BuPaNr )
        //@@begin TriggerAccConSearch()
         //also see comments in TriggerBuPaSearch
         accContactsInput = new __Cernum__Crm_Bb_Bupa_Rels_Input();
         accContactsInput.setRel_Mode(Mode);
         accContactsInput.setBp_Number(BuPaNr);
         try{
              accContactsInput.execute();
              wdContext.nodeOutputRelContacts().invalidate();
              accContactsOutput = accContactsInput.getOutput();
              this.wdThis.wdGetContext().nodeOutputRelContacts().bind(accContactsOutput);
         catch(Exception e){
              msgMngr.reportException(e.getMessage(),true);
        //@@end
    Context in view
    Context node OutputAccContacts (bound to CuCoMain.OutputRelContacts.Rel_Contacts_Result)
    cardinality: 0...n; selection: 0...1
    Implementation to trigger TriggerAccConSearch:
    String SelectedBuPaNr = this.wdThis.wdGetContext().nodeVOutputDetails().currentVOutputDetailsElement().getBpnumber();
         String RelMode = "C";
         this.wdThis.wdGetCuCoMainController().TriggerAccConSearch(RelMode, SelectedBuPaNr);
    RelMode & SelectedBuPaNr are filled with values.
    So what did I do wrong...? I'm out of inspiration; I've reimported the model, rebuilt the entire application, redone the context, redone the implementation but up until now nothing worked.
    Any help is greatly appreciated
    KR
    A

    Hi there,
    Yes, as stated earlier, my RFC is being called by the application and the parameters are correct (input & output). Somehow, these values just don't get transferred to the node.
    Also, you can try the following piece of code before the RFC call at the Dynpro end :
    IWDMessageManager manager = wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager();
    try{
    wdContext.current<RFC_Name>_InputElement().modelObject().execute();
    wdContext.node<Output_Node_Name>().invalidate();
    } catch(WDDynamicRFCExecuteException ce) {
    manager.reportException(ce.getMessage(), false);
    I don't think that will help in my situation. In my situation there are 3 tables which have to be filled by the nodes.
    These 3 tables are all based on the same RFC (with different input parameters). The weird thing is that one of these tables works perfectly and the others just don't work. Even weirder is that all the RFC-uses are implemented the same. (See below)
    The working RFC call (table is populated):
    public void TriggerAccRelSearch( java.lang.String BuPaNr, java.lang.String Mode )
        //@@begin TriggerAccRelSearch()
         //also see comments in TriggerBuPaSearch
         accRelsInput = new __Crm_Bb_Bupa_Rels_Input();
         accRelsInput.setRel_Mode(Mode);
         accRelsInput.setBp_Number(BuPaNr);
         try{
              wdContext.nodeOutputRelationships().invalidate();
              accRelsInput.execute();
              accRelsOutput = accRelsInput.getOutput();
              //wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportWarning("TriggerAccRelSearch Result of RFC START" + accRelsOutput.getRel_Result().listIterator()..toString() + "TriggerAccRelSearch Result of RFC START");
              //wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportWarning("First line: " + accRelsOutput.getRel_Result().get(0).toString());
              //currentRel_ResultElement().getRelationship().toString());
              this.wdThis.wdGetContext().nodeOutputRelationships().bind(accRelsOutput);
              wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportSuccess("test accrelsearch: " + wdContext.nodeOutputRelationships().nodeRel_Result().currentRel_ResultElement().getAttributeAsText("Relationship").toString());
         catch(Exception e){
               msgMngr.reportException(e.getMessage(),true);

              modelinst = (DynamicRFCModel) WDModelFactory.getModelInstance(BuPaRelationsModel.class);
              modelinst.disconnectIfAlive();
        //@@end
    The non-working RFC-calls (tables are NOT populated):
    public void TriggerAccReltdEmpSearch( java.lang.String Mode, java.lang.String BuPaNr )
        //@@begin TriggerAccReltdEmpSearch()
         accReltdEmplInput = new __Crm_Bb_Bupa_Rels_Input();

  • Af:query LOV selection is not retained.

    I have created a programmatic View object and created a view criteria based on three attributes.
    In af:query panel these attributes are displayed as LOVs.  When I click the LOV search icon,
    a Search and Select popup window opens.  When I select one of the rows by double clicking on it the popup
    is closed and instead of the selected value, first value in the table is selected always.
    Also, popup window occupies the entire width of the browser and the table, inside the popup, displaying the LOV attribute value list is rendered with
    horizontal scroll bar because of which the table has to be scrolled all the way till the end and then only OK button is displayed.
    Is there a way to control LOV popup window dimensions?
    Version: JDEV 11g Release 1

    Check that you defined "Key Attributes" in you VO and also in LOV VO.
    To control the width of the input parameters, in VO definition, click on the bind variable and in UI hints tab set the "display width"

  • SQL Loader- Default value is not inserted in table by direct method

    Hi All,
    I am trying to load data from a file to a table by SQL Loader. There is a particular date column which I am not loading from the File but have used a Default constraint to put SYSDATE in it. When I am using direct method load then it is not inserting nothin in this column but in conventional method it is inserting SYSDATE. But I want to do the load by direct method. Can anybody provide me a solution as how to load default value in direct method?
    Thanks & regards.
    Sudipta

    For this special case, you can specify:
    column_name SYSDATE
    in your SQL*Loader control file.
