Inspection task list usage is not picking automatically?
Hi all,
whenever I create inspection lot for source inspection (for PO) through Qi07, in the inspection lot, task usage assigned as a 6(goods issue), but i will assign 3 (universal) later on for the source inspection ( with respect to PO)in qa32 & later on i will proceed. But i want the system to assign the 3 (task list usage) automatically for all the inspection lots, how to enable the same?

In the SPRO setting for inspection type, you can assign default usage. I am not having system access right now, so cant give you exact path. But approx. QCC0--insp lot creation-maintain insp type/default values for inspection type.
Try if this solves your issue.

All of first pls understand the concept of Task list and specification.
If you need to inspection any material in very systematic manner, where you will have well segregated operations where the appropriate Work Centers will be bind and under that hierarchy MIC will be attached. The inspection will be governed by some inspection points. And according the the same Samples will be calculated. When you wanna go with all these functionality then you must have to use Task list (Inspection plan).
And if you don't wish to have these functions then simply go with the material specification.
Now it comes the actual query about task list usage.
If there is a common inspection plan is supposed to be used for all the inspection types for your material then you can prepare only one inspection plan, put ant of the Usage to it it can be 05 or 03 universal. But what you have to do is,
Go to SPRO->Quality Management->Quality Inspection->Inspection Lot Creation->Maintain Inspection Types Execute and set the Task list usage as the same it is set in the inspection plan for all those Inspection types for which that common inspection plan is supposed to be used.
Note:- There is no any link between inspection lot creation and task list usage of inspection plan.

There is task list type Goods receipt model - 501 which is Material, vendor and manufacturer what that mean and where it is used

While planning an Inspection,which Task List gets assigned to which Inspection Lot is linked through combination of TaskList Usage and Lot Inspection Type
In spro (at the location as suggested above) we assign TaskList usage to the Inspection Type. When any Lot is created based on the setting in QM view of MM, it looks for this link for automatic assignment to the lot.
For your question "while creating Inspection plan for GR inspection from Procurment it is advisable to use Task list usage 5 or usage 3 which is universal"; both options will work as long as the above config in spro is maintained.
It is however advisable to use the standard option of TaskList Usage of 05 as it is easier to segregate and analyse TaskList / Inspection Plans based on their usage; in case any need arises.

1. Tasklist is a word largely associated with Maintenance Orders.
2. As the name indicates General Maint. Tasklist can be used irrespective of, on which Technical Object the Maintenance Order is being created.
3. The other Tasklists are made on Technical Object specific
TasklistTypes: E for Equipment, A for General Maint T for F/Locn
Now when you create a Maintenance Order on an Equipment/FLocn and you do not have respective Tasklists then you do this in Order to assign the GM Tasklist. As soon as you do this the operations of the Tasklist are imported into the Order.
When you have a Tasklist on the Reference Object (Equipment/FL) on which you are creating the Tasklist, then you do this to automatically import the
respective Operations to the Order

with this accounting entries material is coming in sale order stock , as per my knowledge stock account should trigger with Tnn Key BSX. but account entry is created with KBS.
My requirement is G/L should pick automatically in PO from BSX transaction key and stock value should be hit to Stock G/L with Tnn Key BSX.
Please guide me because this scenario is new for me.

Excise Duty not picking automatically during posting of GR Document

I have a problem related excise duty calulation. During the posting of GR document for excisable material, excise duty, cess & Edcess not picking automatically, users put manully all the duty along with base value.
I done the all excersie relate exsie, like matain condition type, J1ID etc.

Creation of new task list in CharM not possible
Hello!
I am using SOLMAN 4.0 (SP13 with the newest SP) and the problem to create the task list in Tcode: SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN --> System Landscape --> Change requests --"Create task list".
The following error occurs:
The project is not released. Hence cycle can not be created.
/TMWFLOW/CONFIG_UI017
How to solve this problem?

Yes, the problem was wrong configuration of systems.
Please try the following:
- your systems in system landscape have the right roles
- your TMS configuration is mandant dependent
- you have delivery as well consolidation routes
You can also run the check for the consistency...
You can write back, if the problem still exist...

ERS flag not picked automatically
hi gurus ,
we are using srm 5.0 , extended classic scenario
while creating a po in srm with ers vendor with account assignment wbs , the ers flag is not getting picked automatically.
while if i use the same vendor and use account assignment cost center , the ers flag is getting picked in the po.
so for wbs po , we are manually going to the follow -on tab in item data and ticking the ers indicator.
what could be the reason for this ? why is the ers flag not getting picked from the vendor master.please reply !

Task list timings are not copied to the Productio order

I have created a task list for an item say FGA, where I have mentioned the SETUP Time as 15 Min, MACHINE time as 10 Min and LABOR time as 10 Min.But, when I create a production order for the same item these timing details are getting copied into.Plz give me the reason and solution for this.

whether are you able to see the values in operation details screen.- YES AM ABLE TO SEE
2.check the routing selection,selection ID,task list type details in OPL8. - i HAVE CHECKED AND IT IS NORMAL
But still it is not working...........I'll give you two more hints to help me out.
1. The production order for the same item with same BOM,same ROUTING and same ORDER TYPE is working fine.
2. The system is using the task list to arrive at the scheduled start time and end time , but only in the operations overveiw tab it is displaying the SETUP duration and PROCESS duration as zero.
Any more ideas mnagal......

G/L account not picking automatically for cost centre

When ever i create a P.O for a cost centre ,when i enter the cost centre, the system is not picking the G/L account automatically. Instead i need to enter the G/L account manually.Why it is behaing like this? what is the solution?
I had checked all the setting as mentioned below
1.OBYC-> Here maintained the G/L account for the comibination of
Valuation mod - Gereral Modi- Valuation class- debit g/l account - credit g/l account
2.OKB9 -> Maintained entries for Co.code- Cost element - Cost center
3.OME9- Account Modification is VBR
4.OBY6- Checked the field status variant, posting period variantHi,
Once u have given account assignment category 'K', then system will pick automatically G/L account from the OBYC settings for the combination of Valuation modification code, account modifier (VBR) & Valuation class.
From the OME9 transcation, system will pick transcation key for the respective account assignment category.
For the account assignment category 'K', account modifier is 'VBR'.
Here masterial master record (MMR) is optional. If you are giving MMR in the PO, system will pick valuation class from the MMR.
If MMR is not giving, then system will pick valuation class from the transcation OMQW. Here you need to maintain valuation class aganist material group, which is u r giving in the PO. ( This is optional)
In the OBYC transcation, for the transcation key GBB you need to maintain G/L account for the combination Valuation modification code, account modifier (VBR) & Valuation class.
Also maintain one more entry in the transcation key GBB, maintain G/L account for the combination Valuation modification code, account modifier (VBR) & Valuation class field is blank.
Once you have given account assignment category 'K' in the PO, system will pick G/L for the combination Valuation modification code, account modifier (VBR) & Valuation class. This is happening before giving the cost centre.
If you are not maintaining MMR in the PO and not maintaining valuation class aganist material group in the transcation OMQW, the system will pick G/L account for the combination of Valuation modification code, account modifier (VBR) & Valuation class field is blank.
So in your case, check valuation class aganist material group in the transcation OMQW and maintain G/L in the OBYC for the respective combination. If valuation class is not maintained aganist material group in the transcation OMQW and maintain one more entry in the OBYC with the blank valuation calss field.

Task Lists Alerts Will Not Send Using AD Groups
SharePoint 2010 (upgraded from 2003 to 2007 to 2010)
Exchange Server 2013
Alerts on Task Lists will not be sent if "Send Alerts To" is determined by AD group rather than being identified by specific user account.
This was working previous to our Exchange servers being upgraded to 2013, but sometime afterwards (we are not sure it was directly after) they stopped working. Our test server (straight 2010 install) still sends these alerts. The "you have
successfully created an alert" still works in both environments.
I have tried this on a new Task List, recreated the alerts, restarted the alert service, still no dice. The service is clearly still running, since it will send an alert to someone who is specified by their user account instead of just part of the
AD group. It can't be an Anti-virus or filter issue, since the same users can receive an alert when they are added directly to it, but not if they are added through a group. We have verified the settings in AD (and it's still working on the test
server anyway) and I can't think of what else to check.
( I followed all of the steps in the marked answer for
this post as well)
Could this be something spcific to the 'upgraded' version of SharePoint? That is the only obvious difference between our Prod and Test servers. Does anyone have any other ideas?

I'm a weird admin because I know little about the standard windows side and only work in Project Server and SharePoint.
The alerts work on our test server for the groups specified, and the "an alert has been created" function works just fine, so it seems like SharePoint is able to determine who is in the list and send to exchange just fine. It's just the "Alert me"
function for new items or changed items, etc, that's not sending. Thanks for your help!

SAP-MMInfo Record Price Versus PO Price
The net price in the info record and the net price in the purchase order are two different prices.
The net price of an item in the info record is based on the conditions stipulated in the info record.
If you change the conditions, the net price in the info record is recalculated and the pricing date
adjusted accordingly.
In contrast, the price in the purchase order may reflect the deduction of a quantity discount
according to a price/quantity scale.
As a rule, the conditions from the info record are adopted in the PO. However, if a price/quantity
scale has been defined, the price for the relevant order quantity is taken.
Please check the steps to create info record:
Creating Info Record for Material w. Master Record
1. Choose Master data Info record Create.
The initial screen is displayed.
2. Enter the following information on the initial screen:
u2013 Vendor number
u2013 Material number
u2013 Number of purchasing organization or plant
Enter the number of the info record if external number assignment is used for info
records. If you leave the corresponding field blank, the system assigns a number
automatically.
3. Press ENTER.
The general data screen appears.
4. Enter the general data (data on vendor, order unit, origin data, supply option).
You can enter the customs tariff number without a certificate category.
5. Press ENTER.
The screen showing the purchasing organization data is displayed.
6. Enter:
u2013 Vendor's planned delivery time (used for scheduling)
u2013 Responsible purchasing group
u2013 Standard PO quantity (used for price determination in conjunction with price scales)
Check the control data. The tolerance data and the responsible purchasing group are
taken as default values from the material master record.
7. Enter the net price. You have two options:
u2013 You enter the net price per unit in the Net price field. This price includes the vendor's
normal discounts or surcharges only - cash discounts for prompt payment, for example,
are calculated separately.
u2013 You enter the gross price in the Net price field and then maintain the pricing conditions.
(To do this, choose Extras Conditions.) The system automatically replaces the
entered gross price with the calculated net price.
8. Check the texts. Choose Goto Texts to display the text overview. You can enter the info
memo or the PO text.
If the PO text is already defined in the material master record, it appears as a default
value.
If you change the PO text from the material master record, your new text is stored
directly in the info record. The changed text is suggested as the info record PO text when
a purchase order is created, and can be adopted in the new PO.
If you store the text in the info record unchanged, subsequent changes made to the PO
text in the material master record will not be included in purchase orders. To do this,
select the PO text, then choose Edit Texts Adopt text.
2. Save the info record.
Repeat steps 2 to 9 for all purchasing organizations and plants that are to be assigned to
the info record.

I have created a material.I am using product hierarchy.The PH given in material master is at the third level.I created a the key
combination in VK11 with PH first level.I am not able to maintain the key combination for the third level.So when i create the sale

DO one thing, Go to V/03 --> create a new combination --> When you start choosing the feild --> Choose two fields together
PRODH-Prod.hierarchy
PRODH3-ProdHierarchy 3
The second one is already available in Std. SAP.
After adding above fields, you can add other fields like sales org etc etc.
Then go to VK11 and you can see the condition record you can make with level wise.

Adding to a task list - User does not exist or is not unique
We have SharePoint 2010 with a single web server front end and another server as the SQL server. When trying to add a task to a list or an announcement to a page, users are getting the error, "The user does not exist or is not unique."
I have searched diligently for an answer, but cannot find anything about this with regards to users getting the error.
