Install companion CD, got some errors

I just installed companion CD. my pc os is[b] windows xp 2002
In the step of Availabe Product Components
Oracle Database 10g Companion Products
There are two components:
1. Apache Standalone
2. HTML DB
I chose both to install, and the installtion was sucessful.
Now when I type http://myIP:7777/, it shows oracle http server interface.
When I go to OUI, I found there is porduct called : HTML DB 10.1.0.2.0. Is this HTML DB2.0 ? I don't think so.
I need to install html db 2.0, so I[b] disinstall the html db from OUI and follow the following link to remove html db component,

Hi,
HTML DB2.0 is only available as standalone product on the database download page (not part of companion software). Installation guide and readme-files should tell, how to combine HTMLDB with the HTTP server (apache). I'm not sure, if apache is part of the 2.0 software.

Doublechecking. Did you just uninstall iTunes, and not the related software and components?
The 7 can be caused by damage to one of the other software components associated with iTunes (most commonly Apple Application Support). If that's what is afoot, a complete uninstall/reinstall may be of some assistance:

Tried to install 10.4, got an error message, now nothing works!!
So I got an 800Mhz eMac for my mother. It came with 10.2.8, she needed 10.4 to be able to install Skype. I got 10.4 on 16 discs and started installing it, at disc 9, I got an error message. After that it told me to insert OSX INSTALL disc 2. Everytime I put it in, it spits it back out, I tried every other disc, doesn't change anything. Tried restarting by putting in Disc 1 and doing the C button start-up, doesn't change anything. I even tried other restore discs that I have and no result.

Furthermore you have broken your friend's license agreement by installing those disks on your computer. They are only licensed for use with your friend's computer.
In the future never try to circumvent the law like this, it can land you in deep trouble.
Once you are done backing up, use the startup manager to start the good disk, and go through the procedure to erase and install from the options of installation when you nothing but a keyboard and mouse connected:

i checked in dba_objects the above objects are there
and that are valid. And also i restarted the
application tier and dbtier thats working fine.Since objects are there and status is valid, and your application/database work perfect, then they should not have any concern. As long as you have no issues, then it is safe to ignore error/warning messages during the installation/upgrade.
I have nothing documented here which would be helpful as a proof, but you may raise a TAR/SR to confirm that. -
Installing CS5.5, got an error window that says "windows cannot open this file"
I download the CS5.5 files. Clicked on the larger file to open it and received an error window stating that "windows cannot open this file". Any suggestions?

are both files in the same directory?
are you clicking the exe, not the 7z?
if yes to both, right click the exe and click 'run as administrator'.
if that fails, run the cleaner (Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6) and then click the exe. -

Install problems with CRXI R2 - Error 1406
I am stuck on trying to upgrade from CR XI R1 to CR XI R2.
My company has a VB6 application -- very large and will take great effort to port to .net. I have customers who are now on Windows 7 and complaining some of the reports are very slow. They run fine on Windows XP. Because of this, on the advice of SAP and this forum, I am trying to upgrade my development machine and then my customers' systems with CR XI R2, as described in the forum posts on this topic.
On my development system, I installed:
CRXI R2: http://downloads.businessobjects.com/akdlm/crystalreports/crxir2_sp4_full_bld_0-20008684.exe
and then:
Service Pack 6: http://downloads.businessobjects.com/akdlm/crystalreports/CRYSTALREPORTS06_0-20008684.EXE
I ran into the missing CrystalReports.msi problem and followed the advice on this thread: Crystal XI Release 2 attempts to install every time I open our application
After following those instructions and rebooting, I started the install. I got this error during the install:
Error 1406. Could not write value MyCube to key Products8790BF49490D7C04197D38D49322D0A4Features. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key or contact your support personnel..
After ignoring the error, I got the same error for several other features during the install.
I subsequently uninstalled all my old versions of Crystal (8.5 and 9.0 as well as the XI version and service pack 6). I then only installed the XI R2 version and things went great. But the install of service pack 6 failed again with the 1406 errors.
I am really stuck! I now have no ability to fix any of my reports on this machine and can't run my reports through the VB6 app.
Can anyone help me out?
I really appreciate any help you can give me.

Searching the registry for the 8790BF49490D7C04197D38D49322D0A4 guid, gets you to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Features\8790BF49490D7C04197D38D49322D0A4
This is not a Crystal Reports Key. Rather it is a key used by the MS installer, thus the query is most likely best directed to Microsoft. Other than that, see the following re error 1406:
