Integration Design/Configuration in IB Logon : Authorisation Error

Hi all,
we get the following error message when logging on to the Integration Builder:
"Authorization error. Unknown user name or incorrect passwords."
We installed the SDK versions 1.4.2_03 and 1.4.2_05 on our computer and have local Admin rights.
Has anyone already a similar problem and can us further help.
The user/password has been created in SU01 with all the roles outlined in the install document over 24 hours ago and is viewable in the J2EE Admin Tool.
The user XISUPER can run the SLD & RWB ok however.
Is there anything else we should be checking ?

Hi Fabrice,
We have a solution. Try it and it may work for you.
We had an issue where the short domain name was not being resolved correctly to the long domain name so this was the failure reason.
Try using the long domain name in the URL just by changing it and see if that works.
Then your admin guys need to see if the name can be resolved correctly.
The message you are getting is a completely bogus message by the way.

We double checked that the properties file does exist in the directory specified. We also went for a instance restart, but since then the SMC is showing a yellow flag with info 'J2EE Status Info Unavailable', and the java Stack is not working. Does anybody have any idea why this error is occuring?

Hi Krishna,
As far as I know, this file is used for containing encrypted password and connection info for J2EE stack. So, I daresay, it will be very risky to remove the file from the source directory. Still, I would like to try your hint.

Not able to deploy Integration Library COnfiguration for ORM

I'm trying to install OIM-ORM integration library 10.1.4.2.
I'm following the integration guide and trying to perform the steps in
section 5 Configuring Oracle Role Manager > 5.1 Deploying the Integration Library Configuration.

No customization (I'm doing it the first time).
As per your error it is showing that*
bizlogic.oim_integration file is not correct. Just open the oim_integration.car file. You'll find 6-7 folders there.*
there will be one file oim_integration.xml in oracle.iam.rm.bizlogic.def folder. Just check the file, is it correct.*

Error in the configuration for sap logon tickets

Hi Forum,
I use Tcode crmd_order_bp to see the BP cockpit and the error message displays as
<b>Error in the configuration for SAP logon tickets</b>
But if I click "Yes", system displays cockpit.
How can I avoid this error.

You will still need to configure SSO (either by logon ticket or username/password). The data source access is done using the username/password configured in the UM Config dialog box.
I can see where you're coming from with your thinking, however logon-ticket-based SSO is probably the best approach.

If I try to generate my Integration Scenario in simulation or real mode I get the follwoing error allways in the "Generation Statistics" section (last entry):

[Integration Engine Configuration Data] Error: No access to system landscap

Hi all,
When configuring Integration Engine Data (To go to 'Integration Engine Configuration Data' screen: Tcode: SXMB_ADM -> Choose: Integration Engine Configuration -> F8), we want to load Configuration from System Lanscape by choose F6, an error occur with message as below:
No access to system landscap
So that we can't load configuration from our System Landscape.
We have correctly configured other below:
     - We use http port for corresponding Integration Server.
     - Business System with role 'Integration Server' created correctly in SLD.
     - T-code SLDCHECK is all OK.
     - T-code SXI_CACHE is all OK.
Anyone can please help me correct this error ?

Hi Vasanth,
You are getting this error because the Pipeline URL parameter defined for the XI Business System in SLD is either empty or different than the one defined in "Integration Engine Configuration" in the TCode: SXMB_ADM.
Check the same. I hope this provides you a solution.

Integrated configuration (PI 7.1) throws error when do 'Test Configuration'

I am doing Proxy to Web Service (SOAP) sync scenario. We are using Integrated Configuration. After created integrated configuration and test this from (Tools --> Test Configuration) it throws the following error at the receiver agreement step.
Sender Agreement - Green
Receiver Determination - Green
Interface Determination - Green
Operation Mapping - Green
Receiver Agreement - Red.
Problem occurred in receiver agreement for sender -DR4400_D to receiver -ESRI,urn:AssetManagement.AddressManagementSearchCapabilitiesFromECC_Out: No standard agreement found for , DR4400_D, , ESRI, urn::AssetManagement, AddressManagementSearchCapabilitiesFromECC_Out

Integration Server configuration error

Hi all,
I have an issue with the XI Integration server configuration.
When I have tested the configuration I have detected that there is an error in the Integration server (transaction SXMB_ADM)
The value was:
http://xxx:xxxx:/sap_xi/engine?type=entry
instead of
http://xxx:xxxx/sap_xi/engine?type=entry
note that the fisrt value have : after the port number.
I have tested the SLD Bussines System configuration and had the same issue, I have solved too.
But when I execute the test for integration server in transaction SXMB_ADM i have the next message:
Corresponding Integration Server: Current Configuration <> System Landscape
For the SLD Role of Bussines System the value in this test is the old value, not the new.
Could somebody tell me if i forget something?

There seems to be something wrong with the connection to your repository.
To test the connectivity you can use the Repository Manager (installed on the same machine as your DI Designer), fill in the repository connection parameters and click 'Get Version'. This will check the connectivity and show you the version of your repository.
Possible causes for this error :
Database middleware not installed on the machine (which database type are you connecting too) ?
Database middleware not configured to connect to your repo (e.g. for Oracle the instance must be defined in tnsnames.ora)

Could not start Configuration wizard in Integration Builder - Configuration

Hi SDN,
I am New to XI,
I have gone through 4 scenarios of XI in a system where Xi is up and running sucessfully.
Now one of my colleague Installed ECC5 with XI in our local server.
I need to do a File 2 File Scenario, for which I could create Product, component, Technical System and Business System in SLD.
I could Create a Name space, Message types and Interfaces in Integration Builder - Design
But When I open Configuration Wizard, Internal Communication in Integration Builder- configuration, it is giving a exception : java.lang.NullPointerException.
Can any one help me in resolving this.

In Exchange profile chack the SLD , http port for Integration Bulder properties.like IR,ID , i hope it will try to check for the SLD info , if it is the first time of XI using , you need to check in Exhcnge profile .
if it is not the first time then refresh the SLD cache..

Crystal report logon Failed Error

Dear All
We have installed BOBJ Edge 3.1 Server at Windows Server.
We insalled Crystal Report 2008 at one of our Laptop. (Client).
When we tried to create a sample report,
we selected a existing universe from the BOBJ Server. When we selected it ask me for the server connection details. It connected and showed me the existing unverses.
I selected say eFashion - and picked some fields and Click OK.
Then it givs logon failed error.
Can some one explian me where i am missing

Hi Venkat,
If the Universe is based off an ODBC connection, then the same ODBC connection (with the same name) needs to be present on the client machine too.
So, like Don suggested, the client machine would need the same DB client too.
Open the Universe in the Universe Designer. Go to File > Parameters > Edit. This is where you see all the connection information of the Universe.

IB- design,configure- Activate What next?

I'm trying to understand the XI IS functionality by taking simple FILE->IS->FILE scenario.
After design,configure, scenario activate:
a)what gets published in IS (a daemon program in java/abap stack!!) from ID-directory?
b)what need to be checked in XI adapter framework (for file adapter, check the CC status in RWB component monitoring for green active status)? any other verification steps
c)SXMB_MONI is useful for monitoring the message, but I'm more interested in if the program exists for the scenario and if yes it is compiled ok in first place (similar to compiled java program eg: sample.java)
d) where to get more meaningful run time error message?
for example there was a error in message mapping per SXMB_MONI log

tested the payload xml attachement in IR and fixed the datatype to match ID->Comm Channel->content conversion parameters.
Good, I could fix the error by referring web log.
Why SXMB_MONI is not spelling out understandable runtime error message?
(in place of no use exception msg "RuntimeException in Message-Mapping transformation"). May be there is more info somewhere!!
Checking if there is a way to get meaningful error message for message mapping runtime errors!
e) Is there a parsing tool to convert sender payload XML (from payload attachement xsmb_moni) to ID->message type structures? This would help fixing message mapping errors that exist in source(sender).

     Simple once activation is done then you need to go for testing
     In the File 2 File you will be using two adapters for configuration(ID)
     what gets published in IS (a daemon program in java/abap stack!!) from ID-
     directory? ---> In IS we can see how the message is processed based on the
     mapping declared in IR. All the things what and all happened in the IS we can
     check in the RWB (T.code : SXMB_MONITOR)
      U can see all the steps how the messaged prossed in IS and with meaning
      full errors. (I.e Root cause)

Dependency is not configured in the schema resource Error (OSB)

Hi all,
I am using OSB(10gR3). I am using workshop IDE. I have copied few Xsds into a project. One schema which has an import throws an error
"dependency is not configured in the schema resource Error .Possible reason one or more import/include not set correctly."
Kindly help me in solving this error.
I am new to OSB,kindly share any good online resources I would be of great help for me.

"Edit References" button will appear on sbconsole. Upload it on sbconsole and you will be able to see the button.
If you open the XSD in the workshop (in design view), under "Directives" you will be able to see the imports. Click on any of them and in the "properties" tab below you would be able to see "Schema Location" (in General tab of properties). Click on browse button and it will ask whether you want to download it from a HTTP URL or want to refer from a existing workbench projects.
