Integration points between SD and PP
Can some one explain the integration points betwwen Sd and PP. Related materials would be very help plz
thanks
SD and PP Link
In SAP, there are basicaly some configurations items which provide link between SD and PP, to mention some of them:
- Requirement type
- Requirement class
- Checking group
- Checking rules
In operation wise, depends on the mode of manufacturing. There 2 basic modes of manufacturing: make to stok and make to order. There are many variants in between, but let just concentrate on the 2 basic types.
1. Make to stock
- Production department will produce finish goods base and stock them on the warehouse. They will produce the goods base on forecast. In this case the link is in the forecasting module of PP where all the historical sales order can be taken into account to create a sales forecast.
2. Make to order
- Production department will only produce the goods when there are sales order created.
- During data entry, user can select product variant and this information must be transferred to PP module.
- The sales order number can be reference during planning and production of the goods.
- The stock can also be referenced to a sales order number.
- The product costing module can also refer to sales order number so that if you wish you can identify the margin for each sales order.

Integrational aspects between SD and MM
Hi,
Does anyone have any documentation on the integrational aspects between SD and MM?
Regards,
AttiqHi Attiq,
When you create sales order in SD, all the details of the items are copied from Material master of MM.
2. MRP and availibility check related data is also taken from MM although you control this data in SD also.
3. While you create inbound/outbound delivery with reference to a sales order, the shipping point determination takes place with the help of the loading group, plant data, shipping conditions etc. This also refers to Material Master.
4. The material which you are entering in a sales order must be extended to the sales area of your sales order/customer otherwise you cannot transact with this material.
SD and MM tables
There are many such links between SD and MM.

What are the integration points with sd and qm
hi,
sap gurus,
good morning to all,
what are the integration points with SD and QM.
in r/3.
regards,
balaji.t
09990019711Dear balaji
Before doing PGI, there will be a preinspection stage where SD will have to integrate with QM. Similarly after sales, whenever there is sales returns, QM will come into picture.
To control the above scenarios, in material master, go to "Quality management" view and click on "Insp.setup" where you need to assign Inspection Types like 04, 06 etc.
thanks

What are the integration points with sd and pm
hi,
sap gurus,
good morning to all,
what are the integration points SD and PLANT MAINTAINCE.
REARDS,
balaji.t
09990019711Balji,
There is no major integration b/w SD and PM.
But PM is integrated with CS for all service and repair orders.,
If you really want to see where they can be ssen integrated
Eg:
Pm deifines the roles for the people in shopfloor,if you can make use of these roles and give authorization of removal of credit block to them then it is integrated.
Even when a new machine is purchased or repaired or overhauled the amount is passed to repective cost center internally.

Integration missing between Bridge and Version Cue CS4?
Hi there,
I've installed Design Standard CS4, set-up Version Cue and successfully saved an image from Illustrator.
But when I open bridge there is no sign of Version Cue on the left hand side, the help file suggests that I need to select some options for Version Cue in the Start-up Scripts, but they aren't there...
Has anyone had the same experience?Adobe recommends that you do not follow the steps above to enable Version Cue CS4 in Bridge CS4.

Integration between SD and QM - urgent
Can someone post the integration points between SD and QM.
It's urgent
Thanks in advanceQM in Sales and Distribution
Purpose
The Quality Management (QM) component supports Sales and Distribution (SD) by processing quality inspections and creating quality certificates for deliveries. A quality inspection for a delivery allows you to check the quality of a material or product before it leaves the manufacturer's or vendor's premises.
The Quality Management (QM) component supports your sales and distribution activities:
· With quality inspections for a delivery (based on sales organization, customer, and material)
· With quality certificates for a delivery (with reference to sales organization, customer, and material)
· By managing customer terms of delivery
Integration
If a delivery is created in SD for a product or material, the QM component automatically creates an inspection lot for the delivery items that must be inspected. A delivery item must be inspected if the corresponding control parameters are active in the SD and QM components. The delivery can be released for the goods issue posting, provided a usage decision to accept the goods is made for the inspection lot.
When the system creates quality certificates, it accesses the data in Sales and Distribution (for example, customer master and sales order), Quality Management (for example, inspection specification and inspection results), and Materials Management (for example, batch specification).
Features
· The system creates an inspection lot when a delivery is created. The system supports quality inspections for inspection lots with the following origins:
¡ Delivery with reference to a sales order
¡ Delivery without reference to a sales order
¡ General delivery (without reference to a customer)
· In the control data, you can specify that the inspection lot must be accepted as a prerequisite for the goods issue and you can also indicate whether the inspection should be carried out during the goods issue or by the ship-to party.
· If the stocks for a material are managed in batches, you can select suitable batches on the basis of batch characteristic values.
· With the help of the where-used list, you can determine which raw material batches were included in which batches of a final product.
· You can identify which batches were dispatched to a customer with which deliveries.
· You can create customer-specific quality certificates together with the other shipping documents, print them out or transmit them by fax, and archive them in an optical archive using ArchiveLink. If customers have the required authorization, they can also create and retrieve quality certificates over the Internet. -
Integration Between CRM and REFX
Hi experts,
Please let me know how to integrate CRM with REFX If any body has done CRM-REFX implementation can you share
documents ( CRM with REFX in CRM 2007 ver 7.0).
Regards
NKDear SAP Experts,
I have a same requirement with Neeraj about how to integrate CRM with RE-FX (Flexible Real Estate Management).
As I know, the Business Partner is one of the integration points between them. When we use Opportunity Management (CRM), the opportunity will be transformed to a sales order in SD module (ERP).
Would you please help me on the following queries:
1/ Can we transform the opportunity (CRM) to a contract in RE-FX module (ERP)?
2/ Is there any link between Product (CRM) and Rental Object (RE-FX)?
Any replies/suggestions will be high appreciated.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards,

Can you recommend the best way to do an integration between SAP and Dynamics?
Hi,
I have a requirement to develop a integration process between SAP and Dynamics. Both environments will be deployed in Azure, so there isn't any on-premise machine involved.
I've to implement two different business processes:
A request is received from SAP and some data is sent to Dynamics
A request is received from Dynamics and some data is stored in SAP
My client is requiring me to define a cloud integration architecture that fits to the requirements.
Doing some research, I have thought three possible architecture models.
Use BizTalk Server as IAAS: the provision a full BizTalk virtual machine will fit each requirement. The bad thing is that it will have a big cost for the client.
Use BizTalk Server as PAAS using BAS: other alternative the using BizTalk Services instead of a BizTalk VM. My idea with this model is using BAS to connect with the SAP and use WCF to connect with Dynamics web services. Can you tell me
if this model is feasible? Should be the SAP machine a Windows machine in order to install BAS?
Use BizTalk Server as PAAS using SB Queues: other alternative the using BizTalk Services instead of a BizTalk VM. My idea with this model is using
SB Queues to connect with the SAP and use WCF or other SB Queues to connect with Dynamics. Can you tell me if this model is feasible? Is required a intensve development in both SAP and Dynamics processes to implement the
communication using SB-Queues?
Please, if you have other architecture models that fit better to my requirements, I'd be so grateful for this information.
Many thanks for your help.
Best regards.I have a Mini and since it has BlueTooth, got Creative Labs' T3150 BlueTooth speakers so I can "send" music across the house to them. The iPod Touch has BlueTooth, and would work for this kind of setup, I think.

Integration between ESR and ARIS
Hi,
is there a integration between the standalone versions of ARIS and ESR?
Best Regards,
MichaelHi,
As far as I know, currently there is no integration/synchronization between ARIS and the ESR. For example, I have to model our BOs according to the models in ARIS.

How to distinguish between enabled and disabled tasks in SSDT-BI 2012
Hi,
I've got SSDT-BI 2012 together with VS2012 installed. Simple questions: What is the difference between enabled and disabled tasks in control flow from the design/color point of view? I do see that the disabled tasks changes to grey (omg are you really kidding
me????) from black. This could be a bad joke or dream however is not.
So I'm kindly asking you to help me solve this problem. How can I change the color difference between these two options (enabled task vs disabled task)? I do not care whether the one will be yellow or pink, simply just need to be recognizable at first
look and not under long and painful examination.
Thanks for your reply. Hopefully it will be useful.
Karol.Hi Karol,
It’s true that it only changes the font color of the task name text to grey after disabling a task in SSDT 2012. In SSDT 2010, the whole task control including icon will turn grey after it is disabled; in BIDS, the background color of the task control will
turn grey after it is disabled. These behaviors are by design. Personally, I agree with you that this behavior in SSDT 2012 is not very readable.

DB-fields duplicated between FI and JVA
Hello,
I am a BW consultant and need the field "Transaction type" (RMVCT) from FI (table FAGLFLEXT) for reporting in SAP BW. I know several fields are duplicated between FI and JVA whenever a transaction is created. In JVA (table JVSO1) there is a field named "Asset Transaction Type" (ANBWA). Does these two fields hold the same value?
Is this documented anywhere? I can't find anything except general information in the documentation. I find some information on "integration activities" between FI and JVA, but nothing about the specific fields involved.
Best regards,
Christoffer OweANBWA are basically asset accounting related transaction types while RMVCT is used to report all types of movement in balances whether asset or any other accounts for consolidaiton purposes. So both these fields are not the same.
Thanks and regards
