Interest and Loan Amortization SDK - Does It Exist?

Hi Folks:
I am looking for a toolkit that will allow me to perform Excel-like
functions via SQL within an Oracle 10g standard edition one server. I
don't know much about Oracle Financials, but I believe that it is
overkill for what I am trying to accomplish. I am more interested in
a PLUGIN/SDK/Module more like Spatial or Context/Intermedia that would
allow me to search a loan database using interest calculation and
amortization functions. Does such an SDK exist for Oracle? If so,
how is it licensed?

    I read from Note 159657.1 in step 22
    If you are using a passwordfile set the parameter
    REMOTE_LOGIN_PASSWORDFILE=NONE (If you are using windows also set the
    parameter SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES=(NTS) in the sqlnet.ora file.
    The issue is I can't restart my instance in step 32 (same note) because I need to have SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES=(NONE) since we migrated to Active Directory.
    So...is this setting to (NTS) mandatory before migrating my database ? If Yes Should I simply set it to NTS and then set it back to NONE before re-strating my database ?

    Hi,
    "Shared Memory Realm does not exist" error might come from some initialization parameter in init.ora file not set properly most probably these are "memory" related parameters. init.ora file was configured with diffirent memory value.

    I have a stored procedure that has dynamic SQL with a CURSOR and I am now getting the following error:

    I resolved the issue...
    It was not related to SYS objects at all....
    The query being constructed began using some non existent tables in the result set so they would not work.
    I added EXCEPTION block to the execution and all is well.

  • Compare data and output data that does not exist

    Hello,
    i wrote a procedure to insert the data into a 3rd table where i compare the data between two tables, if it matches it shouls insert into the test_a table. if the does not exist either one of the tables i.e. test_code and test_type it should output that data where it doesn't exist. my code works for only one table i.e. test_code. its not dbms outputing a row that is not in test_type table. could any tell my why?suppose if test_code a row that is not in test_type it should output saying this row mismatches with test_type and vice versa.

    You need to use a FULL OUTER JOIN instead an OUTER JOIN for that.
    Just curious, why do you need to use dbms_output instead of running the SQL query with additional conditions (the if part of your procedure)?. You can use it twice, one to insert the ones that match, and one for selecting the others that do not match.

  • Delete exposure in THMEX and FTREX12 - error "Transaction does not exist"

    I have transferred by error an exposure (using TFREX12) to HM. In THMEX I have deleted the newly created exposure that has a transaction Nber. Then in TFREX12 I try to reverse this transfer by using in the menu Position the function "Reverse transfer" but get an error message "Transaction xxx does not exist". How can it be deleted so that I can transfer the exposure to the appropriate Hedge Plan??

    Hi,
    correct procedure is to reverse transfer in FTREX12 without deleting the exposure in THMEX. If you deleted it in THMEX first, then the error is justified. To solve the problem, you can manually create an exposure with the same transaction directly in THMEX, then transfer reversal should be possible.

  • I am trying to load a PMS Coated color swatch using InDesign CC and it indicates it does not exist...

    When I go to "New Color Swatch", then to "Pantone+ Solid Coated" Color Mode, Spot Color, and enter "582" it automatically adjusts to "5825". Indicating that there is no "PMS 582 C" – but there is a 582 C. What am I doing wrong?

    Recently I've discovered that ADR was creating a folder in one of ours Oracle 11.2.0.1 server, in the users home like ~/oradiag_$USER/.. The problem is that this logging files dont stop growning, and they are filled only with this lines:

    I've searched around internet about this issue all that I've found is a "workaround" by creating those folders. And yep, it works, it stops growning.
    Then I checked the others servers that we have, and the problem replicates in some servers with the same Oracle version.
    My question is: Why this? Why in some servers ADR is looking for that folder? That folder didnt exist in any of them, but only some servers tries to read/write on it (or, at least, log it) What parameter relies on it?

    I am trying to use the Java API that is available for Crystal reports XI. I am using NetBeans v.5.5.1 for developing my Java code.
    The application does not seem to find the Crystal reports Java libraries, I cannot compile it successfully. For instance, the statement

    shows an error message "package com.crystaldecisions.reports.sdk does not exist"
    I have installed the Java SDK under the web/web-lib directory in my NetBeans project folder, i.e. I copied all the jar files from c:\Program Files\Common Files\Business Objects\3.0\java\lib into the web-lib directory because this is the directory where I have all the other library files that I am using in my NetBeans project.
    I am creating instances of the classes ReportAppSession and ReportClientDocument in my java code.

    I am trying to create a report GRR1 and for Plan Budget Report in Rows i have given SALES, REVENUE,COST and TOTAL and when i have defined the Columns with period 1,2,3,4,5,6..12 I got the following message when executing the Report.

    Diagnosis
    The characteristic must (message type E) or should (message type W) be addressed in the report definition. This means that a set must/should exist for the characteristic in the definition of the report rows, report columns, or report selection.
    For performance reasons, it is important that you limit the value ranges of those key fields located at the start of the database key as much as possible.
    Procedure
    Define a set for this characteristic in the report.
    Note
    In Controlling (Table CCSS), different characteristics (cost center, order, project, etc.) are portrayed internally with a common technical characteristic, "Object". In reports, either a specific characteristic such as cost center must be used, or the characteristic "Object" must be used directly. If this is not the case, an error message appears saying that the "Object" characteristic is missing.
    Also i would like to know how do i define the selection criteria for executing the report
    Please advice a solution for the same

    The reason could be having (1)  invalid characteristics value or (2) have not properly defined the General Data Section, most likely (1) in this case.
    Either way, go to t-code GRR2 to change the report.
    In the report row or column, is there an Element (the labels in red color) that does not make sense?
    It could still have the correct label names, but double-click and go into "Record Types (from your error message)".  Be sure to have the correctly define values attached to each Characteristics.
    If all above seems okay, try (From top bar, select) Edit --> General Data Section.  Think of this section as the "header data" of the report.

    I'm hoping someone has experienced this and found a way through it. We're looking at exposing Oracle Rules DecisionFunctions via the automagically created web services in JDeveloper.     Hi SR,
    Thanks for your response. I attempted what you've suggested (1=1 - asset new fact in output), however nothing has changed.
    This is occurring across several Composite Rules projects, including the Oracle provided Chapter 5 Order Approval example. Unless someone can suggest a solution to this issues, it looks like we're going to have to shelf our plans to utilize the Business Rules component via the composite service.
    Very frustrating couple of days, that's for sure! :{
